Cartaya House Rental Photos and Description

A self-catering accommodation perfect for both families and golfers.

Beautifully located townhouse with the simply stunning beaches of the Huelva coast just minutes away. Our house is also situated on the 14th hole of the Nuevo Portil golf course. There are six other courses a short drive from the house.

The house has three bedrooms, all with twin beds. Two of the bedrooms have good sized verandas, each with two sunbeds. These verandas are absolute suntraps and because the house is south facing, you can sunbathe for as long as the sun is in the sky! The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath/shower and bidet.

The garden area is perfect for eating alfresco and offers direct access to the street.

A life guard mans the communal pool and this is located among the very pretty gardens of Hoya 14. The pool is seconds from the back door of the house and is alongside a little baby pool for the smaller children. Also within the complex is a Padel Tennis court, which is again just seconds from the back door. For those of you unfamiliar with Padel Tennis, it is a mixture of tennis and squash and is very popular in Spain.

The area has many excellent restaurants, but for those nights when you fancy eating in, the kitchen is very well equipped and has everything that you would need to whip up a lovely meal. We have a dining table and also a table outside, as previously mentioned.

We offer free Wi-fi for your use throughout your holiday. Everyone loves posting their holiday snaps online and it's a bonus being able to do it whilst still on your break!

Our bookcase is full of holiday reads. Feel free to take home any unfinished reads and leave one of your books in its place!

The house is fully air conditioned and this is included in the cost of your holiday. The shutters in each bedroom are very good also at keeping the sun out of the bedrooms.

We are the Fisher family and we live in Bearsden, just outside of Glasgow. We have two sons who keep us very busy! Although we live in Glasgow, we both come from as Island off the west coast of Scotland. Strangely though, we met in Glasgow and did not know each other at all!

Why Catherine Fisher chose Costa de la Luz - Huelva

We like a specific type of holiday and we were looking for something a bit more Spanish than other parts of Spain we had visited. We also wanted to be relatively close to cities worth visiting as we knew we wouldn't only visit our house in the summer.

We fell in love with Nuevo Portil and the surrounding area immediately and love our time there. Eventually it will be our intention to live there for large chunks of time and escape dreary Scotland in the winter!

What makes this house unique

We love that our house is so well positioned within Hoya 14 and we get the sun all year round. A south facing house was very important to us. We love the views towards the Atlantic and can sit on the veranda for hours just letting the world go by.

Totally relaxing, stunning location and great golf

I spent 10 days in Nuevo Portil, staying at this townhouse and can't rave about the holiday enough.

There is something for just about everyone, with both the golf course and beach just minutes away. Both within easy walking distance. If you fancy a visit to Seville, it's only an hour away and well worth a visit.

The golf is great with several courses in the area but most importantly, the AC Golf Resort is just five minutes walk from the house.

Lots of lovely restaurants and the beach is to die for. Best beach I've been on by miles and that includes the Caribbean!

The townhouse itself is extremely comfortable and has everything you will need for your break.

This is a beautiful part of Spain and so unspoilt and away from the other Costas.

Would definitely recommend a visit. We flew with Ryan Air to Faro and picked up a car, flight and car hire very cheap!

Stayed here at this townhouse in June

Absolutely fantastic, well appointed townhouse. South facing with views of the beautiful beach, which is only 7 minutes walk away. Every piece of kitchen equipment you could possibly need and immaculate throughout. Very comfortable beds, and plenty of towels etc, including beach towels. Pool area great, and life guard very attentive. Good idea having the little pool as well, for the kids. Lots of restaurants to chose from in Nuevo Portil, with plenty more in neighbouring El Rompido. Huelva a short drive away, home of Recreativo Huelva, if you fancy catching a game! The oldest team in Spain. Seville around the hour mark, either by car or regular bus service. However, if all you want to do is chill out, enjoy the most beautiful beach we have ever seen and sock up the real Spain, then this is the place for you. No eggs, chips or pub quizzes to be found! For the more energetic, plenty of great cycle tracks, kite surfing and regular boat trips over to La Fleche. We plan to rent again in January and take our golf clubs this time, as course in wonderful and the one at El Rompido looks just as good. Donnie and Margaret, Isle of Bute

  • Both the master bedroom and bedroom three have terraces with sunloungers. These rooms both have south facing views towards the Atlantic, and are perfectly located for watching the sun go down. All bedrooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The master bedroom and bedroom 2 both have large fitted wardrobes and plenty of room for storage. The Master bedroom has an en-suite with bidet, bath/shower and basin. The second bedroom again has twin beds and large fitted wardrobes, bedside table with a reading light. Bedroom three shares the same stunning views as the Master bedroom, and has twin beds, bedside table and reading lights. All bedding is Egyptian cotton.
