For both short and long-term stays, this 2nd floor apartment in a triplex building offers everything you need to feel at home. The recently remodeled kitchen is packed full of all the gadgets, dishes and cookware you need to whip up a meal at the end of the day, and you’ll feel spoiled doing it, thanks to the granite countertops and floors, custom cabinets, and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher.

The living and dining area are bright and airy, with modern furnishings, high ceilings, hardwood flooring, and two sets of sliding glass doors that lead to two separate private balconies with outdoor seating.

Satellite TV and a 50” flat-screen in the living room are perfect for a cozy evening in. Browse the Internet using the free WiFi, too. To accommodate guests, the sofa is now an L shaped sectional (replacing the uncomfortable sofa bed). We added two twin memory foam folding mattresses.

Hardwood floors carry into the master bedroom, which includes a queen-sized bed overlaid with a memory foam mattress topper. An attached bathroom features more granite for the floors and vanity, and a glass vessel sink. All linens are provided for you.

All in all, this apartment sleeps up to two comfortably.

We have several vacation rentals on the Westside. Providing excellent accommodations and exceeding guests expectations is my passion. I've been running vacation rentals since 2008. Why The Owner chose Los Angeles

This triplex is located right near the 10 & 405 interchange. Being less than 5 miles from the beaches of Santa Monica and yet only 3 miles from UCLA, 2.5 miles from Century City and Beverly Hills and walking distance to the Westside Pavilion - the location is ideal.

What makes this apartment unique

What I love about this unit is the sweeping high ceilings and spacious interior! Close freeway access, and restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance (unusual for LA), plus - the expo line is now open! (Sepulveda station), WALK to Sepulveda station (6 blocks / 1/2 mile away.

Convenient and comfortable west LA apartment

My wife and I stayed one week in this well equipped, comfortable apartment when visiting my relatives who live nearby. We toured around LA and the location is very convenient to the freeways. The property manager was very helpful. We arrived when rare rains were happening. There was a small leak in the roof of which she was aware and informed us. The next day the roofer was at the property and fixed tue leak, just in time for the 3 inch rain which happened the next day! It worked, and we never saw any leaks.

Chic and comfy apartment in quiet, convenient location

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac off a busy thoroughfare, this second-floor walk up apartment is spacious and well-appointed. It's close to both the I-10 and 405. For a small extra fee, a garage is available, yet on-street parking is easy as well. The owner solves problems quickly. When the battery in the electronic lock was failing, she immediately got me a spare key, so I was not delayed. The area is mostly residential, so there are grocery stores, pharmacies and a real old-style newsstand...all in walking distance. The place was clean and kept up. I would recommend this place to others and will likely stay here again, since it's close to Westwood and a good value.

Would not stay here again...MOLD

I did not get a chance to send the pictures to the owner of this property (or speak to her). But I received this a request to rate the property. So I will explain my experience now. Hopefully the owner will do something about the issues. In all fairness I will say up front there was a note card left to call with any issues at check in. But we were only there for 2 nights with a busy schedule. So I just left checked in and then left without complaint (due to extensive issues). First the easy stuff..... The floor was very dirty with tons of debris all over it. Thank God I brought socks. The cabinets in the bathroom are filthy! There is a layer of dirt and things people have spilled down them for a very very long time. As one review said (I think more than a year ago) the walls are in serious need of paint. The walls are very dirty. Not to mention mismatched paint from ceiling and wall repairs, ect. And I do not mean just slightly off matching. The baseboards are also a mess. Even the 2 sit up plastic chairs at the kitchen had something all over them. The couch needed to be vacuumed. I have never been in such a dirty vacation rental. And I have rented many properties without issue. The living room had water damage to ceiling & baseboard by the dining room. Above the couch were also several large water stains. But this wasn't my biggest issue. My biggest issue is the bathroom. Along the edges of floor is absolutely disgusting with caked on dirt & water damage, there was mold on the shower door, mold on top of the corners of the shower. a pretty rusted medicine cabinet, plus the filthy cabinets I previously mentioned. But the worst part is a extremely serious mold issue on the entire ceiling. So bad it is coming through several layers of paint! I am talking the entire ceiling. You can see large areas of water damage. It has been going on a long time. You can see someone has been recovering it by the massive layers of thick paint. Which is also peeling. I can't explain how bad it is. Or the health risk this can cause anyone who stays here. I got out as fast as I could. And never stepped off the towel on the floor. It was so gross in that bathroom. You can see some effort was put into trying to make the place look nice. But the furniture is cheap, it is dirty, the place has serious problems, and the owner does not care about upkeep. Also the neighbors are keeping a pigeon coup. You get what you pay for. This was lipstick on a pig. Beware!

Owner's Response: I am really shocked and disappointed in this review and I don’t think it fairly represents my property at all. I am grateful for the dozens of other nice reviews that have accumulated over the 4 years I have been renting this unit. I am constantly doing upgrades, and I am constantly buying new linens, new towels, new bedspreads and doing repairs and maintenance. Just a few weeks ago we added canned lights in the ceiling in this unit and replaced the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. I recently purchased patio furniture so each of the balconies would have spaces so guests can sit outside if they wish. There is constant need to repair and replace things and that goes with the nature of the business. But there is no mold on the ceilings or otherwise. That is simply untrue. There is no peeling paint. There is a small stain on the ceiling in the living room that occurred only a month after having the unit painted and I have not repainted that, so I’ll grant her that. The sofa was purchased within the past year. The installations such as hardwood floors, cabinets and baseboards were all done within less than 5 years and are in great shape. I talked to my housekeeper today and we have decided to make a later check in time so she has the time needed to clean thoroughly between guests. As for the pigeon’s next door, I have seen that and called the Health Department about this and they are investigating. It’s so unfortunate that a guest would rather spend 20 minutes writing an unfair and exaggerated review instead of sending me a quick text or email upon arrival saying things are not up to par and give me a chance to make it right. I usually check in with my guests after they arrive and make sure all is satisfactory, but in this case I missed it. I am so glad that many other reviews accurately describe this unit.

Good Value & Convenient Location in West LA

My family of 2 stayed here for 7 nights while visiting family and friends in Los Angeles, CA.

Having previously lived in a nearby city and familiar with the area of the rental, we were happy to have found this West LA Condo for our stay. The apartment is conveniently located close to public transit, including the Culver City Green Line #6 and Santa Monica Big Blue Bus 8 & 12 lines as well as the 405 and the 10 Freeway. Additionally, the apartment is close to several grocery stores (Vons, Trader Joe's, Ralphs, CVS) as well as mini shopping centers.

The apartment was clean and well maintained. The Living Room and Bedroom are nicely sized to accommodate the needs of 2 people. The kitchen is full sized and comparable to most 1-bedroom apartments in the area. The bathroom which is inside the bedroom, is fine as well. The unit & building is quiet with no noise from the freeways, neighbors, nor nearby streets. While street parking is usually a pain in Los Angeles in general, we never had any problems finding parking on the same street of the building location. For those interested in securing parking, Kathryn offers to rent out the garage as well.

Communication with Kathryn and Lisa, Kathryn's assistant was quick & informative to ensure booking would go smoothly.

Would definitely stay here again.
