This wonderful beachfront cottage was a residence for a Grand Case family for many years. We have been lucky enough to take it over from the family and refurnish it and make it ready for what we think is a wonderful beachfront rental.
This two bedroom two bath house is on the main street of Grand Case. It means you can step out your front door and walk to over 20 fabulous restaurants in the village. Grand Case is called the 'Gourmet Capital of the Caribbean. Fabulous Boulangeries'are very close. You can buy your morning croissants and evening French pastries without getting into a car.
We have our own private on site driveway so you will never have to worry about parking in Grand Case.
In addition to wonderful dining, there are many Art galleries, boutique shops and activities up and down the street.
Our back door leads you onto a marvelous patio. A few steps further and you are on the wonderful quiet beach of Grand Case.
This property faces the setting sun and the island of Anguillla. The beach is usually calm and quiet.
You will find beach bars up and down the beach as well as beautiful boats to enhance your views.
If you just want to people watch, you can sit on the front porch with your evening cocktail and see the comings and goings of the town. It is very quiet during the day, but in the evening things get quite active as visitors from all over the island come to enjoy the fabulous food offered by the restaurants in town.
There are grocery stores to fill in and stock your complete kitchen.
The inside of this cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms so couples can enjoy privacy and each others company. We have a living room and dining area dining area We have cable TV, and a stereo system with a place for your Ipod or favorite CD's.
We have Internet access in the house and do offer a cell phone to use for just local calls.
Go out in the evening and enjoy the food or bring in some local favorites from the 'lolos' (local ladies who cook) or even your favorite restaurant.
Enjoy 150 channels of TV.
We have 110 electricity and do supply a hair dryer.
All linens and towels are supplies. Maid service is given twice a week.
Claudia, our housekeeper manager will be there to collect the household linens and give you fresh ones and see that the cottage is cleaned.
Our maintenance person is on call to handle any emergencies that might occur.
Try this property for an unforgettable vacation on the Friendly Island of St Maarten and St Martin.
We have been in the villa rental business for over 30 years. We have owned and still do own several homes on the island of St. Martin.
I have always managed and rented the properties we own and also those that belong to friends who have villas up to our standards.
Dr. Valins was the visiting Orthodontist for the Dutch side of the island for 20 years. He has since given that up but we spent many weeks on the island during that time.
We are grandparents of 11 beautiful children and the parents of 4 lovely daughters who cannot believe their parents are still working so hard.
We love the island beaches, restaurants and just relaxing in the marvelous weather. We are both reading fiends and do a lot of that when we come to the island. I am neurotic about the houses I own and manage and really try to see that our guests have a memorable vacation.
Roberta Valins purchased this cottage in 2012
This rental property was something we had always dreamed of having. A little house on the beach that is private with patios and a back yard right on the sand was more than we ever expected to find. We have leased it from a wonderful family who cherish this property. We promised that we would take good care of it and return it to them in better shape than we got it.
Try it and see what we are talking about.

We were already in love with the village of Grand Case as we have stayed there numerous times, and this was our 1st time renting Sally's Cottage. It's the perfect get-away! Living in the heart of this charming village for 8 nights in this adorable cottage was perfect. The location can't be beat..the boulevard & restaurants outside the front, & the beautiful beach & harbor in the back. Numerous restaurants line both sides of the boulevard. We have a few favorites but there are so many it's hard to hit every spot we want to! Every morning just a short walk down the boulevard we visit the bakery & buy our chocolate croissants to enjoy with our breakfast on the back patio at the cottage. The cottage is kept very clean and is very well-maintained. Everything we needed was provided, from beach lounge chairs & towels to all the items in the kitchen. We especially enjoyed opening up all the windows & enjoying the breezes! What an amazing experience. We hope to return to stay at Sally's Cottage again for all of our return visits to St. Martin!
My husband and I just got home from this amazing vacation 2 days ago. We immediately rebooked with Roberta to stay again at Sally's Cottage. I can not even begin to express how beautiful the cottage is. The pictures do not even come close to the actual thing. Having the beach right out the back door was so perfect. You literally fall asleep each night and awake each morning to the music of the ocean. Grand Case in itself was a life changing experience. It truly put into perspective what is important in life and had us reflect on the simple things in life that really matter, helping us let go of all the material things and stressors of our everyday lives. I can not begin to thank Roberta, Claudia (housekeeper) and all the others involved in making this experience one that will last a lifetime. We are counting down the days until next February! If I could speak French, I would be moving there :) Enjoy.........

I rented this house from VillaLady in Grand Case, St. Martin (French side), and I cannot stress enough how beautiful and how convenient the location is. Just staying on the backyard looking at the ocean and sailboats is worth the money I spent for this house. Additionally, having the beach right in front of the back part of the house is like staying in your own private beach with all the ocean for yourself. Right at the heart of the Grand Case village, the location of this property gives you the additional convenience of having all the stores, all the high French cuisine restaurants, and the pleasure to see and interact with the colorful local people that live in this part of the island.
Great rental. I highly recommended.
Walking distance to restaurants, groceries and shopping and art galleries. There are over 20 restaurants in Grand Case that are within walking distance. Nightlife is nearby. Many crafts people and artists display thier work in the shops in Grand Case.
