It is a beautiful property with great views onto monument avenue
Laura Lee met us and gave us a tour or the property when we arrived. the refrigerator was stocked with fruit, water, wine, coffee and snacks. This is the nicest place we have stayed in richmond and nationally. Felt right at home.
Beautiful home in a wonderful location.
Despite a record setting snowstorm, we were warm and safe and able to get around the city. The owners made sure we had what we needed.
Beautiful flat in a perfect location
We stayed in this apartment for a college reunion weekend and it was perfect. The unit has a full kitchen, dining room, and living room plus a sun porch and two bathrooms. There is a front door to the building and then a second door to the unit so we felt very safe. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need in it, and the bedrooms were well appointed. It also had dedicated WiFi, so those of us who needed to stay in touch with work could easily do so. Great overall location and we plan on returning.
Beautiful spacious getaway
Had a wonderful stay at Laura Lee's gorgeous home. She is a fantastic host who gave us the tour of the house, history about the neighborhood and city, and recommendations for dinner, tours, etc. The house on historic Monument Avenue is perfectly located to walk to Careytown to the south and Scott's Addition to the north. Dinner at Spoonbread was a 10 minute stroll. Will be back!!!
Great place in a great area!
We had never been to Richmond before, so we were hoping that this spot was going to be good and it was perfect.
Close walk to some neighborhood restaurants and a short Uber to downtown.
Monument avenue is an awesome street with historical monuments and incredible houses.
We were there for a wedding with a small group and the apartment was perfect. Had everything we needed, kitchen, 3 rooms, nice bathrooms. Cool historical place.
Amazing property on Monument Ave
We had such a great time at Laura Lee's! She met us there and walked us through the house, showing us where the trash could be taken out and how to access wifi. The house is gorgeous and so well maintained. The location is in walking distance to plenty of restaurants and breweries. If I come back to Richmond, I would definitely want to stay at Laura Lee's again!
Located in Richmond's Fan District, which is the larges contiguous Victorian neighborhood in the county. It is approximately a square mile with over 5,000 contributing structures. The Fan is a typical southern city neighborhood that includes city townhouses built between 1880 and 1925. It is a very walkable area with many options for eating and drinking nearby.
