Private home on 5 acres,180 degree ocean view, 2000+ square feet, 3- bedroom, 2 1/2 baths. 1500 square feet of lanais ( decks) for great outdoor living. 2 bedrooms with connecting bathroom and a 1/2 bath off the kitchen, 1 bedroom 1 bathroom downstairs also large sitting room off of the lower lanai. You will find a separate sun deck with unique loungers. Gas BBQ and bar height tables and chairs with umbrella on the upper lanai. Large dinning table and 6 padded chairs, large elephant bamboo furniture with seating for 9 and 2- ceiling fans on the lower lanai.
You will enjoy our fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Large flat screen TV in the living-room with a plush sectional couch. All 3 bedrooms have a queen bed, ceiling fans and flat screen TV's. The beach locker is stocked with ice-chest, boogie boards, snorkeling gear(4), beach chairs, beach umbrellas all for your pleasure and enjoyment.

It was everything the owner said it would be. We had at our disposal everything we could need for a fantastic vacation in Hawaii. The house is spacious on a nice property with lots and lots of privacy. The kitchen was fully stocked, the living space was very comfortable and there were lots of supplies everywhere ... it was home. Even beach gear was provided. They thought of everything. If you are ever in Kona Hawaii, call up these owners and just relax and enjoy your vacation.
We loved this home! It was clean and comfortable and we loved the lower lanai. We would definitely recommend this home! It was a little bit of a drive into town but we didn't mind that at all.
This rental property is very clean and comfortable. We loved the deck and the ability to have coffee and meals overlooking the ocean. The lower lanai is a great place to soak up afternoon sun, watch the sunset, and to store snorkel gear and wet suits after returning from the beach. The outdoor shower is a nice amenity. This is a very quiet location except for road noise that can start before sunrise. This wasn’t necessarily a bad thing since it caused us to get up to enjoy the sunrise and put on coffee. We had a really great stay and the owner was exceptionally good to work with and very responsive. Would we consider staying there again? Absolutely. It’s roomy, comfortable, and reasonably priced for the location.
This was saying great, spacious home to rent and was very well equipped. Kitchen was well laid out and the upper deck has a ton of space and great sunny views.
House was very clean and comfortable and quiet and this area is a great spot for checking out this side of the island.
Our 1 st time staying in this home. The negatives first. 1- Might be too far south for some people. 2-the gate to the house might be an annoyance for some( you have to manually open and close).3-Our favorite beach was closed(Hookena)Not the owners problem, but was a real letdown for us. Substituted Pebble Beach, but a substandard replacement. 4- Ten days of clouds., once again not the houses fault. Could not even get a tan.Now the positives. 1- This is a very nice and clean newer home. This is what you're paying for. 2- Rental price is very reasonable. 3- Lots of room in the house and on lanais.4- Very quiet(with the exception of road noise). You are not going to find a nicer home for the money.Am still giving this home 5 stars,because it's a 5 star rental. Tina is also excellent to work with.
House had everything we (family, 2 teenagers) needed. Well appointed, tastefully decorated and conveniently located for all hiking and sightseeing in the Southern & Western part of the Big Island. Great kitchen and awesome views. We did not give five stars because
- sanitary water is a little smelly (plenty of drinking water is provided) and
- we haven't been informed that a Dengue fever outbreak occurred in the immediate area (would have been more cautious when spending time outside)
Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and can recommend the house for 4-6 people that look for a tranquil, nice place to experience the Big Island.
Volcano National Park is 1.5 hours south.
