The apartment:

This lovely one bedroom apartment is located in central Cannes. It is perfect for a couple, or a single person enjoying Cannes for a holiday, short break or on business - especially for the popular Congresses including MIPCOM 2017.

Situated on the fourth floor in a well kept and secure building (with an elevator), the vista of the Cannes rooftops is pleasant and the area is quiet ensuring a good nights sleep.

The apartment opens into a light, airy living room with a comfortable sofa bed. There is a fully equipped kitchenette, separate double bedroom and bathroom. Furnished with contemporary fittings & neutral colours makes for a very comfortable and modern feel. The apartment is air-conditioned with a ceiling fan also.


BY AIR: Nice International Airport is 17 miles east of Cannes, and can be reached by taxi or bus in just 20 minutes. There is a coach service in operation between Nice airport and Cannes - coaches leave directly outside the Arrivals Terminal and depart from outside the Hotel de Ville (Town Hall) in Cannes & Gray d'Albion Hotel. The coaches run every 30 minutes, from 8am to 7pm and the cost is approx €14 one way / €25 return.

BY TRAIN: Cannes is a main railway station served by the TGV and local services. You can get the train from Nice St Augustin station (5 minute walk from the airport terminals) straight to Cannes in about 30 minutes.


The apartment is also an ideal base for exploring the Côte d'Azur. There's no need for a car and with Cannes railway station only five minutes walk away, it's easy to travel up and down the Riviera, from Saint-Raphaël to the West, and Nice, Monaco and the Italian border in the East. There are regular buses up to Grasse, Mougins and the hills behind the town - and you can take the boat to Saint-Tropez or San Remo or the Lerin Islands.

In the winter you can easily reach the fabulous ski resorts of Isola 2000 and Auron - either hire a car and drive or take a train to Nice and a €1 bus from there up to the mountains. Beach to snow in just 1.5 hrs!

We started visiting Cannes when we first met in 2000 and it soon became a favourite haunt with only a 90 minute flight from the UK. We decided to buy a pied-a-terre so we could enjoy Cannes year round (sun and ski) but also as an investment for the many business people and holiday-makers that also visit Cannes. We have since had 2 children but still manage a visit twice a year and never get bored of the lovely climate, friendly people, delicious food and endless things to do. We hope you enjoy Cannes as much as we do.

Why Simon and Victoria Strutt chose Centre Ville

Location, location, location. Our apartment couldn't be better situated as it's just a 5 minute walk to the beach, shops, restaurants etc. This makes it really easy to get around during the day without a long walk back with bags and beach towels, or out again in the evening. Likewise with your laptop and paperwork if you are visiting on business.

The building is very safe and quiet, and well-maintained which is reassuring for us as owners and for our guests. And the apartment itself has everything you need for a comfortable holiday and business stay. We have tried to make it a home from home with nice towels and bedding, and a 'welcome pack' for each guest of tea, coffee, water, juice and a bottle of the local wine.

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed in this lovely little apartment. It is simply and attractively furnished and is always clean, bright and very comfortable for two. It is absolutely ideally situated, being literally 2 minutes walk from a very attractive small square, with a lovely Italian restaurant and other little places to sit out in; it is 2 minutes walk from the fabulous Rue d'Antibes; and about 10 min walk from La Croisette. There are two supermarkets right opposite; the Casino is not the best!! I can't remember what the other one is called, (maybe SuperU?) but is opposite and is excellent. There is also a little market also about 2 min walk away. There is now WIFI which is great. A lovely stay.

LIVING ROOM: The sofa bed is a single one and suitable for ONE person only. A cot is available. AIR CONDITIONING: There is an air-conditioning unit which cools the apartment within minutes. This also provides heating. BATHROOM: The bathroom is en-suite to the bedroom but there is also direct access from the living room (with a lockable door). INTERNET: There is wireless internet in the apartment. SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment. LIFT: to fourth floor. PARKING: There is metered street parking near the apartment and also a safe public underground car park a couple of minutes walk away (Lamy).

Good flat in excellent location.

Nice little flat in a great part of town for shops, restaurants, the sea front and the Palais. It was very clean and had everything I needed for a short stay.

Booking, contact with the owners, check in/out were all very straightforward. The flat is exactly as described.

Perfect location with easy access to train and bus stations. On the beautiful beaches within 5 minutes. Shops and restaurants even closer!

Studio is bright, sunny and very well equipped with everything needed to start your stay in Cannes. Can't recommend it highly enough!

I would highly recommend this apartment. The owners provided a fantastic all round service. The apartment was clean tidy and had absolutely everything we needed for the weeks stay. The location was great as was Cannes. Absolutely nothing to fault here at all and really happy with everything. Can't recommend enough.

This is the ideal location to stay in Cannes The apartment is located on a quiet street just off the Rue d'Antibes, right in the heart of the most fashionable area with all the most glamorous hotels and shops, yet only about a two minute from the Croisette and its lovely beaches. The Palais des Festivals and Casinos are only seven minute walk away, with the Old Port just beyond.

The bustling Gambetta market is also close by, as well as wonderful patisseries, bars, restaurants and people-watching cafés. There are two supermarkets only a few metres away and the train station is just a five minute walk.

- We have a standard cancellation policy: 6 weeks before arrival date: 30% of rental price. 4 weeks before arrival date: 50% of rental price. less than 4 weeks before arrival date: 100% of rental price.
- We are able to provide a 'meet and greet' service up to 10pm. Any late arrivals after this time will be charged at €10, payable in cash on arrival.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
