What makes this condo unique

When we discovered this condo for sale, it offered just what we were looking for. It was right on the water, in like new condition, and tastefully decorated. We love the screened in deck which overlooks the cove and boat docks. We enjoy fishing from the docks and going boating near the condo, away from the rougher water up the Lake.

Guestbook comments from the manager

I just wanted to say thank you for setting us up in such a beautiful,

quaint little condo. We enjoyed our stay so much. The setting was so

pretty and it was a nice quiet week. Some of the boats came and went but

it was so peaceful. Beautiful!!!

Pristine Lighthouse Landing Condo near Bagnell Dam, Screened Deck, Boat Slip!
average rating of 4.5263157 based on 20 reviews

Our family of 5 loved the charming condo.

  • 5 of 5

Our family loved the accommodations at the Lighthouse Landing. The condo was in a great location, kept very clean, had everything we would need, and gave my family of 5 much needed space. We have out grown hotel rooms unless we get 2 rooms. Having 2 bathrooms, 2 separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer made our stay very comfortable. We also loved the screened-in patio and use of the pool. Thanks again.

Very cute, comfortable, homey

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful time. It met all of our expectations. It was close to the shopping area and on a quiet inlet so we could watch the boats come and go. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets!!

Beautiful view with a peaceful atmosphere.

  • 5 of 5

The weather was beautiful and the view from the deck can't be beat. Would definitely come back again there is so much to do in the surrounding area you can't fit it all in to one trip.

Nothing Pristine about this place.... BEWARE!

  • 1 of 5

We have stayed in Lighthouse Landing before so we were expecting pristine... just didn't get it with this place! Arriving late, we brushed aside the unclean bathrooms that had multiple hairs on the bathroom counters and in the sinks.... Our mistake. Since we left early to spend the day on the lake, it wasn't until that evening that we started noticing how dirty the place really was. Carpet was disgusting and had chunks of dirt you could pick up with your hand. AND then we saw the bugs..... large centipedes...

So I reached out to the Property Manager (AKA Property Owner) and while he seemed sorry for the inconvenience we went through, he wasn't willing to make things right.... and all I asked for was a refund on the cleaning fee....His exact words were that he "couldn't provide refunds due to unforeseen issues" So an unclean rental is an unforeseen issue.... haven't heard that one before! Not only did he charge us full price, he overcharged us $5.00 more on the cleaning fee then what the contract said and did nothing to fix that either after requesting him to correct it.

With all that said, with new carpet, a bug prevention program, someone to actually clean the place... it could be a nice rental..... but then again if you have an issue...there is always the property manager that doesn't have a clue on dealing with "unforeseen" issues and lacks people skills.

Owner's Response: As you consider this condo, please look at all of our hundreds upon hundreds of guest reviews both here and across our 39 properties. You'll find that an unhappy guest is a rarity. I hope as you read this review that you realize it was written by someone with "a score to settle" and not by an honest guest. The first review he had written was actually so derogatory that VRBO took it down for violating their terms. Our cleaners are two ladies in their late 40's that own their own cleaning company. They've been cleaning together for 19-years and have cleaned for us for over 5-years. Trust me, Abbie and Trisha do their work well and are never out to take advantage of anyone. We have a process in place that works very well when our guests find any issues that need attention. In our rental agreement, I ask that guests notify me if, upon arrival anything is found out of order or needing attention so that if something was overlooked, we can address it for them. We have resources available including our cleaners to make service calls when necessary. In the case of this rental, the guest (on his second night of his 2-night stay) sent me an email complaint after finding two dead bugs and hairs that the cleaners missed in the bathroom. He requested a full refund of his cleaning fee. I explained that we had a process to follow and that I didn't feel his request for a full cleaning fee refund was warranted. I offered to send our cleaners back but he declined. In our conversation, the guest threatened me with this review and told me how horrible of a property manager I was. He explained to me that in his previous experience with using VRBO that when he complained of finding trash left behind that the owner refunded his cleaning fee without question as a courtesy. He felt we owed him the same and explained to me that I should handle my customer service the same way. This guest also charged back his credit card payment today (over a month after his stay) as a further damaging attempt stating that the property was not as described. Wouldn't you think that someone would, UPON ARRIVAL, contact me or VRBO if things were such? Certainly not a month later, right? Notes: I am the property manager for this property, not the owner. Our cleaning fee increased in 2016 from $70 to $75 as listed on our websites. The rental agreement still had the $70 fee noted, so I updated it. I didn't overcharge him - the $75 fee was quoted in his reservation request.

Great stay at the lake!

  • 5 of 5

This condo was exactly as advertised. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We loved having two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It had everything that we needed to prepare our meals. The washer and dryer came in handy since my teenage son did not pack enough clothes to get him through our entire stay.

The location was great, really close to the strip and Woods grocery store. This condo is located in the back of a quiet cove and we were able to fish from the dock. Beware that there are a lot of stairs up and down from the deck to the parking lot of the condo. May not be ideal for elderly or disabled individuals. Even though this condo is on the bottom level of the building, it is set up high enough that you have a clear view of the cove.

We did not utilize the pool. It was fairly small and there were quite a few other people there. This was not really a negative for us as we hadn't planned to spend any real time there.

We had a great time and would consider staying at this condo again in the future.

Great vacation rental!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great weekend at Lake Ozark. The condo was very clean, well maintained. The porch overlooking the cove was perfect for morning coffee, and for our 2 year old to play. No worries about bugs with the screened in porch. The cove is quiet, and the kids had fun swimming and jumping off the dock. We would certainly rent this again!
