Keywords: Full time English speaking maid and our pool boy provide personal care for golfers, sun seekers and sports enthusiasts. Centrally located in the Caribbean's most complete resort. Golf cart included.
Our son and our grandson enjoying a romp in the pool Christmas 2012 in Casa. Midwesterners' by birth, now living in the East searched for years to find the perfect place for the entire family --- and succeeded right here. Reliably great weather (even at Christmas), great golf, tennis, boating, trap-shooting,dining etc. and best of all wonderfully nice people. Happy and always helpful, we've found Dominicans' to be the nicest people in the entire Caribbean.
I continue to run my own business and find it quite easy to operate from the D.R. with phone and Free Wireless Internet access Through out the Villa. JFK to SDQ is 3+hours and the drive from SDQ to the Villa is about what it takes us to get to JFK from the North Shore of Long Island. Now only :45 minutes from Punta Cana airport on the new Coral Highway
Both of our children long out of school now regularly bring other couples down every year when we're not all vacationing together or we aren't filled up with our friends.
The setting and the staff as well as the amenities make LL 106 perfect for relaxed entertaining and just plain good fun hanging out together. The place is 'not to be missed'
Douglas Fox purchased this villa in 1997
As noted above, perfect and reliable weather, great golf and other facilities in the resort (including, tennis, scuba, Casa for Kids, horseback riding and much more). Quite easy to reach from New York & Chicago, incredibly nice Dominican people and my family loved it at first sight.
We have been coming to Casa and this Villa for 21 years every Christmas holiday as well as other times of the year. Our kids have grown up here and made numerous friends (as have we -- interestingly more non-American's than Americans). The kids and grand children all view this place as home, more than our regular residence in NY
I start each day at 7:00 with a short walk to the beach for a swim, typically no one else is there and the water is flat with an off-shore breeze. A drop in the Jacuzzi with coffee follows and the day is then 'planned' with the family. The big question is do we stay in or go out for dinner -- both equally good choices.
Los Lagos 106's central location makes access to golf, the marina, the beach or the hotel very easy and quick -- half the resort is west of 106 and half is east AND we are one house off the road that runs parallel to the shore & Teeth of the Dog. In fact LL 106 is about a 6 iron from the middle of the 4th fairway of the Teeth.
Just a 5 minute drive to fine grocery, wine and spirits stores. Outstanding up-scale shopping at the Marina.
The town of La Romana is only a few miles away. It's very safe, easy to access and the restaurants are very good and affordable.
Our family stayed for spring break in March 2017. We had a great time! My kids enjoyed going to the pool more than the beach. They would wake up and want to swim every morning. We were never bored!
Ana, made all the difference! She is welcoming, kind, helpful, a great cook, and down to earth!
The property owner, Doug, was very quick with responses, gave wonderful recommendations, and made it so easy for us!
If there is one negative, it was having all these irritable mosquito bites.
We will come back and recommend this property to our family and friends.
Vacation dates 3/5/17-3/10/17.
We found this property while searching Casa de Campo homes and we very happy we chose it. The villa is exactly as described. Our family of four (two children ages 19 and 22) had an amazing 5 days at this property. Plenty of room but did not feel too big even though we were only 4 people. The owner, Doug, was really helpful with insight about the resort as well as the area and quickly responded to all our pre-vacation questions. Ana and Johnny are wonderful, thoughtful people - we are already missing Ana's guacamole! Johnny was very friendly and helpful as well.
Villa has a great location, so close to the beach and main hotel and a short golf cart drive to the Marina. We took two trips up to Altos de Chavon which was a little further away but a really nice ride. Resort is beyond beautiful and well worth the $20 per person/per day fee associated with it - we always felt like we were resort guests.
Took the tour to the caves and the Catalina island day trip and really enjoyed them but spent a good part of every day at the villa and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Thanks Doug for a great stay - looking forward to making this an annual event!
Our group of 4 golfers stayed at Las Lagos 106 from 3/1-3/5/17,
A+ let's start with the villa owner Doug who responded to every one of my plentiful e-mails promptly and with encouragement and helpful guidance regarding: things to do, restaurant choices, golf (he hooked us up with his private club and special caddie Nilsen). He even sent me a map before the trip highlighting the island and the various places to see at the marina.
Next: The villa...the pictures don't do it justice. It is tastefully appointed with various sitting arrangements both inside and around the pool and hot tub area. You could easily fit 50 people comfortably. The architecture is well thought out...I had the fortune of staying in the master suite! The villa is immaculate an up to date with free wi-fi and A/C in every spacious bedroom. The landscaping is gorgeous.
Anna is the cook and caretaker of both the villa and it's guests. She went shopping with us and cooked all of our meals which were delicious! She is the kindest, sweetest, most gentle soul I have met. She, by herself, would be reason enough to choose this villa!
Don't even look for another villa...this was paradise!
Thank you Doug and Anna...we will miss you!
I have stayed in other villas at Casa de Campo but this house was by far my favorite. The villa is centrally located and within walking distance from the beach. The house, itself, has a magnificent outdoor area with many different places to sit and lounge about. The interior is very charming and we particularly enjoyed the billiards table. The open floor plan in the common areas was just what we were looking for. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely. And the kitchen is quite large and well-equipped. Although we chose not to watch television, there are certainly enough sets to keep everyone in the family happy. The Wifi is very good and accessible throughout the house which has not been my experience elsewhere. Anna and Johnny, the staff, were truly wonderful and made our trip that much more special. I would stay in this house every time I visit Casa de Campo.
My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 little ones) stayed at Los Lagos 106 the end of July and had a terrific time. The home is spacious, beautifully designed, and has all the amenities you could ask for! The bedrooms are all spacious, especially the master suite, and the common areas are cozy. Having your own pool is such a huge plus, especially when you have kids and the first thing they want to do when they wake up is go swimming! The house is ideally situated; literally a 3 minute golf cart drive to the gorgeous beach and about 10 minutes from the marina market. Doug's house staff, Anna and Jhonny, were amazing. Anna is a terrific cook, and she took great care of my family. Jhonny was super attentive with cleaning the pool and the grounds of the house, as well as assisting with any last minute grocery shopping. Overall, we had an amazing time at Doug's home, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone considering a villa at Casa de Campo.
My family of four, with two teenagers, rented this beautiful Villa in Casa de Campo in early August. We loved the home, resort, beach and had a blast. The best thing about renting a villa, especially when you have Anna and Jhonny helping with meals and keeping the place in order, is the family time. The pool table was a big hit in the evenings. We rarely used the TV... The golf cart was a great way to get around the resort. A bit about the villa, the interior walls are solid, noise from the kitchen or central areas is not a problem for those still sleeping (at 11am...). The larger master bedroom is in a separate building with an outside shower. Bedrooms stayed cool in the August heat. Anna is truly a wonderful person, and a professional with 25 years of taking care of families on vacation. We didn't have a concern about laundry, making beds, making and cleaning up breakfast, lunch, and all those other things you normally have to do in a home. No hassles booking, confirming, and Doug and the local representative were easy to work with and very helpful. A great experience all around!
This Villa is ideally located within Casa de Campo for people with an active lifestyle that enjoy sports and all that the Resort offers. It also appeals to families with small children who love the beach. Since the beach is with in walking distance for even small children (less than 1/4 mile; one of the closest Villas to the Beach in the entire Resort). Finally, it's just perfect for those simply interested in relaxing, reading by the pool and having the maid and house boy take care of your every needs. Free WIFI included.

It is best to email or call for a quote. Time of the year, the number of people, holidays and special needs are taken into account in the final offer. Rates in High Season range from $ 600 / night to $ 675 / night, depending on the number of people. Low Season is not much different, due to high electrical rates -- $ 550 / night to $ 600 / night. The Resort requires all guests register with them and typically collects a fee for adults. Resort fees are paid to the Resort and the owner has nothing to do with this.
A deposit is required with a brief lease agreement, with final payment due 30 days in advance of arrival. Deposit is returned if booking is cancelled before 30 days of arrival. Rates are flexible, depending on the number of people and the time of the year. Email or call for details on this point.
