Quiet retreat on the river

  • 4 of 5

This little farmhouse was just the thing for a spring break trip. The kids loved the rope swing and playing in the nice yard as well as spotting wildlife and farm animals. To grow ups enjoyed the hottub and gorgeous views of the night sky.

Beautiful Historic Farmhouse

  • 5 of 5

I absolutely love old farm houses. This one was tastefully restored with lots of character. It was very clean. The views are gorgeous. We spent this weekend hiking in the Shenandoah National Park. We appreciate that you are pet friendly. I would definitely recommend this and would stay here again.

Nice, secluded house!

  • 5 of 5

Great house! It has everything you need and is very peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub is great - it gets SUPER HOT so test it before you get in.

I would recommend getting a new shower curtain but everything other than that was perfect. Thanks so much!

Beautiful relaxing weekend

  • 5 of 5

River house was perfect. It was clean and the property is beautiful. My family of 5 (kids aged 11,7, and 3 )plus our black lab had a fantastic weekend. The location was perfect. We did some hiking and visited Luray caverns. The kitchen had everything we needed- and it was nice to have the laundry. I enjoyed long walks with our dog taking in the mountains, river views, and the sweet and curious cows on the road to the house. We will be back! We loved it!

Quiet get-away house

  • 4 of 5

This house was well cared for, very clean & creatively decorated. It had a nice homey feel with many nice touches such as 2 covered porches (perfect for any day, but especially when it rains), loads of historic paintings, drawings, etc of George Washington, Lafayette, Thomas Jefferson & other founding fathers. A very nice private hot tub, great view of the Shenandoah River & cows coming right up to the fence. We really liked this setting in the small town of Shenandoah on a 200 acres farm. Very private. You won't be disappointed.
