The property was nice with an awesome location.

  • 3 of 5

The property was nice. Wish they would of cleaned the backyard. They didn't sweep or clean the chairs off. There were berries everywhere. Dealing with the property management was frustrating. They messed up our parking pass's. Then said we did not do what we were supposed to. We had to send the email confirmation to them. Then they tell us to park at CVS. They don't tell us we have to pay to park there. Asked about the pool I get an email that says it is down the street google it. So dealing with the management property was very frustrating and found them to be rude. The place was very nice and accommodated all of us but would not rent a house if I saw both Cliff and Paul the 2 we had to deal with names as point of contact. Not helpful at all.

Owner's Response: Instructions for arrival and parking are sent a week prior to arrival. Marla brought multiple cars but only supplied information for a single vehicle and demanded multiple parking permits. I was unable to provide permits without the proper information. I communicate with guests in a clear and concise manner via email to eliminate any confusion. I provide clean and proper accommodations at a good rate. Sorry I am not a concierge! Please be sure to look me up DC 5 Star Vacation Rentals, you will see a number of happy guests!

Great location. Nice place.

Only issue was scented laundry soap and dryer sheets and I am sensitive due to allergies. Pots and pans should be better.

Great location, comfortable accommodations for 8 of us.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed the luxury of all being in the living area to chat. The 3 BRs and 3 baths were very nice and made it easy to have our personal space. Good air conditioning. The home felt welcoming and comfortable.

Great location and easy, comfortable stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a party of 7 adults and one toddler for a three night stay in this lovely house. Cliff was prompt and consistent with getting in touch with us for logistics and checking in/out. We had easy access to restaurants, amenities, shopping, and public transit to the Mall where we spent most of our weekend. The house is new and nicely stocked with anything we could have needed. We're a group of friends who live all over the country but have traveled together many times, and as our families have grown we've come to rely more and more on the flexibility of having access to a variety of restaurants, groceries, and shops. In that vein we especially appreciated the modern, well-equipped kitchen for large home-cooked meals, the large washer/dryer, and the three FULL bathrooms. We never needed the second kitchen but I imagine it could be nice for some groups. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Great place to stay in Georgetown

  • 5 of 5

we stayed in this lovely little house when we were visiting DC. The house is very clean and well maintained. The location is very safe and convenient. The bus stop is just cross the corner and it was very easy for us to find a street parking close to the house. My seven and four years old can handle the stairways without any problem though it does seem a little bit unsafe for the little ones. I really love the design of the stairway though. Cliff is very responsive, professional and helpful. Thank you for getting the stool for my little ones, Cliff.

I definitely recommend this place (already did it today to one of my colleagues.)

great place to stay for a family visiting the area

  • 5 of 5

the place was as advertised, terrific for a family. two bedrooms on top floor with two baths (one in room, one in hallway). full bedroom on lower floor, with an additional futon in another room downstairs. so plenty of sleeping room for a larger family. house is well kept, and location is convenient, and owner very responsive. You can walk to Georgetown area restaurants/shopping, and the city is very Uber friendly for tourist attractions. overall a good home base for our stay.

While it wasnt an issue for us, the only potential issue would be for someone that has trouble navigating spiral staircases, as one has to go up or down a spiral staircase for bedrooms and bathrooms.
