Available to let all year round for your holiday is this delightful villa on the golden, glorious South Coast of the beautiful Island of Barbados in Atlantic Shores. The property provides an ideal holiday rental and is self catering. Suitable for couples and families alike and within close proximity to the beach and easy access to the local amenities of Oistins. St Lawrence Gap is a short distance away.
The property sleeps six people in three double bedrooms. There are also two futons which make the property ideal for a large family or a group of friends. The villa is equally suited to a couple wishing to stay in spacious surrounds in an elegant part of the island.
The property offers great value for money.
Just a little thank you for our brilliant stay at Seabreeze Villa, your lovely home in Barbados. Just wish we could have stayed longer.
The villa was lovely, very clean, and so, so spacious !! One day if we could get our family all together this would be the perfect place for us all. Lots of reading books, lots of lounging areas, TV to catch up on news and sport. Did not use the CD radio as I had my iPad for our music. Another plus is:- that there is no need for air conditioning here, if you were at the villa during the day, just open up all the windows and doors and the sea breezes keep you cool. During the night the ceiling fans and open netted windows work well together to give you a comfortable nights sleep. ( Much better than using air conditioning in our opinion ) where you sometimes wake up cold and have to cover up to keep warm!! )
I must add too we had no bother with mosquitos, normally they hunt me out, only had a couple of random bites. No problem with ants or anything else too, that is another plus for your home.
We enjoyed spending time in your lovely garden too, lots of shady areas and areas with full sunshine too, also sitting out on the two porches were so relaxing. There were a few barking dogs around but this can be normal in residential areas in Barbados but we were only around all day for the odd day so they didn't really bother us . There wasn't too much traffic, being on the corner of the Enterprise Coast Road and Seabreeze Drive, but luckily the main traffic seems to go off to the main road by Enterprise Drive just past Miami Beach.
Cheryl was there to meet us, unfortunately our flight was late, but all was good, and Cheryl had bought the few bits of groceries we requested, we were so pleased as it was too late to wander out to eat. Cheryl organised the taxi to the airport on our last day, it was good knowing she was close by if there was any problems at the villa, but as it was we didn't need to get in touch, only to ask if we could stay in the villa on our last day as our flight didn't leave until the evening, which Cheryl allowed.
We hired push bikes for 12 of our 14 days. So glad we did, we knew the area so new it wasn't too hilly, ( more hills here in North Devon ) We hired though Trailseekers over in Inch Marlow. They are brilliant. The freedom we felt and the views from just riding down to Miami Beach and Oistins and beyond were worth it and we would love to do it again one day.
Take care, All the Best to you all
we stayed at Seabreeze in November 2007, and had a wonderful holiday. Audrey was very welcoming, provided us with a welcome pack of groceries which we pre ordered, and left us in peace to enjoy this beautiful villa. It has everything needed for a self catering holiday, and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Car hire is recommended, Miami Beach is a 2 min drive, and well worth it! we have been to the island before, and would recommend this villa to families, or to anyone seeking easy access to the island, but with a peaceful atmosphere at night. We spent many hours on the terrace, drinks at hand, listening to the "night orchestra" of crickets and whisting frogs, bliss!
We had a lovely holiday in Barbados, our second visit, but were disappointed with the condition of the 'villa' inside. It is not as depicted in the pictures on the website as they were taken over 8 years ago and wear and tear in the intervening period has taken its' toll.
Our initial impressions was that some of the furnishings were quite shabby and in places dirty, and rust patches on the fridge and cooker had been daubed over with white paint. There was also a heavy accumulation of dust and grease on the ornaments and fire extinguisher above the cooker, and some of the pillows in the second bedroom displayed signs of mould.
The tv didn't work at all to start with, then when it was rectified the tree next door interfered with the signal but this was dealt with after a few days when a new ariel was fixed in a different position. The hot tap in the second shower would not turn off, which resulted in my wife scalding her arm, but this was also sorted out before the end of our two-week stay. The garden is also fairly heavily overgrown and not easy to access to sit in and relax.
In short, the property needs some attention and updating.
We were in contact with Suzanne about these issues and in fairness she did her best through her local representative Cheryl, to overcome them. She also offered us a refund for the remaining days of our holiday if we wished to find and move to other accommodation, but by then we had settled in and didn’t want the hassle.
On the positive side the kitchen is very well equipped and the structure of the house is very well maintained. It is only a few minutes to two excellent beaches and a few more minutes to Oistins with its shops, beach, fish market and the famous Fish Fry on Friday nights. Bridgetown, the capital, is a 20 minute drive, St Lawrence Gap with its restaurants and night life about 15 minutes, and the whole island can be driven round in about 3 hours.
It was also very pleasant to sit on the back verandah in the early evening and enjoy the breeze and a cold drink.
Cheryl, who looks after the property and prepares it for guests, and her brother Terry, looked after us very well and Cheryl especially was very attentive.
A car is essential to explore the island at leisure and there are many quiet and almost empty beaches to be found away from the busy south and west coasts. The beaches on the east side of the island are pounded by heavier seas but Bath and Foul Bay are worth visits
I have just come back from a fabulous three week stay at Seabreeze. What can I say it was absolutely fabulous home lovely and spacious , wi-fi that the kids could stay in touch with friends. Loved the location and villa was very well equipped , I didn't want to leave!! Cheryl was at the end of the phone for any questions( lovely lady) and Suzanne very helpful when booking. I just want say a massive thank you for letting us rent your home and definately want to return there when we go back, loved it loved it!!!! Xx
We had a great stay in Christmas 2014. The villa is lovely and spacious and not far from Miami Beach. The villa is situated in a quiet residential area and not too far from the famous 'Chicken Rita's. Suzanne was a great person to deal with in the UK and nothing was too much trouble and responded to messages very quickly. We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks so much.
We stayed here in February 2010 and had a lovely time. The house was well equipped and spacious. It was in a good location from which to explore the beautiful island and the owners were helpful and lovely people.
We just got back from holiday and had a lovely time at Seebreeze. Audrey and her husband are lovely and very helpful - they kindly bought us groceries to tide us over the first night and morning. The house itself is light and super-clean, well equipped (nice big fridge and very usefully a chest freezer!), and very comfortable. We will definitely be back.
Miami Beach with its golden sands is around 1 mile away from the villa - that's about 3 minutes by car or a leisurely 10-15 minutes walk. There is also a secluded and quiet beach about 10 minutes walk away from the property.
The renowned Oistin's Fish Fry on Friday nights is around 1 mile away. Barbecued fish and meats and local fishcakes are on the menu and the atmosphere is brilliant. Listen to Soca, reggae and other modern music or listen to country style and 'back in time' music and watch or join in with the waltzing and ballroom dancing - ALL OPEN AIR! The popular St Lawrence Gap with its bars, restaurants and nightclubs is less than 3 miles away.
Surfing and Windsurfing at Silver Sands is less than 1 mile away.
Barbados Golf Club's championship 18 hole, par 72 course is approximately 3 miles away.
The Kensington Oval where Test Cricket is played is approximately 25 minutes away by car.
The Garrison for horse racing is around 20 minutes away by car.
