Welcome to Hidden View Estate, a 4 Bedroom, 4 bath, two level, ranch style house, recently updated and refurbished, on 12 acres of landscaped-groomed lawns, overlooking the Missouri River corridor, with panoramic scenic vistas, a "stone's throw" from the River. This spacious home provides you a relaxed, comfortable and quiet retreat distant from the interstate traffic noise commonly associated with lodging so close to the River. The rental includes internet, satellite phone, Direct TV, two 50” flat screen tv’s, pool table, fly tying table, as well as a full stocked kitchen. \

All bathrooms have walk in showers and include hotel style soaps and shampoos. Coffee and filters provided as basic service. Full size Olhausen slate pool table on lower level provides entertainment when you do stay-in dining. Outside deck and firepit has ample seating, as well as all the firewood you need for your evening fires. Cell phone use is available from “Lookout Point” at the top of the property.

This unique property is centrally situated on 12.5 acres of primarily lush, groomed lawn, approximately 7 miles downstream from bustling Craig, MT, just off the frontage road (Old US Hiway 91) that parallels the river. This is the ideal location base from which to fish the Missouri’s multiple river sections and enjoy a quiet, relaxed, casual and private environment when not on the River.

Most mornings will be greeted with deer breakfasting outside your door as you leave for your day on the water. From the home, you can be on the River, fishing, in a matter of minutes by walking down the short drive and across the frontage road; there are plenty of fishing options along this section of River. The Mountain Palace boat access is only 3 miles downstream from the rental.

The 3150 SF main home consists of two bedrooms upstairs , each with a queen bed and separate bathroom, a laundry room, living room with flat screen TV, gas fireplace, kitchen, and dining area. The downstair area includes bedrooms #3&4 with 2 queens in each room, and each have an ensuite bathroom. The downstairs living room also boasts a flat screen TV, fly tying table (just bring tools and materials), and also a full size pool table. There is an outside wooden deck/patio with appropriate wicker furniture, as well as a firepit with surrounding benches, and plenty of firewood. You can walk up the groomed lawns to "Lookout Point" from the deck and experience spectacular views both up and down the river valley, while you use your cell phone.

These properties are splendidly unique and well suited for those that appreciate and enjoy accommodations a cut above the ordinary.

About Layne Hepworth

We live in Boise , Idaho, but also have a home on the banks of the Henry's Fork River in Island Park, Idaho, and manage to fish 75-100 days per year, with a couple of saltwater destination trips intermingled during the off season. Over the last ten years, the MO has been a fantastic alternative for us at opportunistic times when it is providing better dry fly fishing than in the Henry's Fork caldera.

Mountain and river view seclusion, adjacent to all of the activities along the whole river below Holter Dam. Centrally located in the middle of the flyfishing corridor of the river valley, this property is ideally situated for convenient angling access to all river sections. We bought this property on our fishing trip in September of 2016, when the weather was not suitable for dry flyfishing and we decided to "tire kick" for sale properties in the area. After viewing several river front options, we found this listing that had only been on the market for less than thirty days, but by far was superior to all other listings we had seen. After a personal tour by the owner, we realized the uniqueness of the property and bought it with a handshake. We had no intention of acquiring property on this day but realized it was a opportunity not to pass up. We are excited to share these with you. Enjoy!

What makes this estate unique

The extensive lush rolling lawn is very eye appealing as well as are the views from the elevated property overlooking the Missouri River valley. The two level brick home is way above average quality construction and furnishings. The plaster-of-paris artwork in the main living area is stunning. The outstanding guest cabin is situated in a quiet and secluded area and has the ambiance of the pond to boot. Both houses provide you convenient and immediate access to all Missoui River activities.

Great location and a very nice and comfortable spot with killer views

This is just a perfect home for a group of fisherman. Just wow. The owner Layne is a class act and has really focused on the details. I can't recccomend Hidden View estates highly enough.

Gorgeous home and view!

We loved our stay at Scenic Hidden View. The home is lovely. Everything we could ask for was there. Very comfortable beds and the pool table was a lot of fun. The view and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Loved it.

Loved the place. The deck had a fabulous view and it was high enough that there was always an afternoon breeze and shade from the trees. We even saw a few big horn sheep, albeit far away, in the rock ridge behind the house. The view included the Missouri River. Very spacious, even though we only had three people. It could have fit many more comfortably.

Perfect location with great amenities

Our group stayed at scenic hidden view for a week, and had a fantastic time! The place is a quick drive into Craig and all of the nearby fishing access points on the Missouri. The kitchen was great for cooking big meals, the pool table and entertaining areas provided more than enough space for our large party to spread out, and we caught fish right at the end of the driveway in the evenings. We had a few minor technical issues during the stay and the owner was extremely responsive and took care of everything as quickly as possible. I plan on staying here again. Thanks again, Layne!

Great place for a group of 8.

Everything was great from the rooms to the entertainment areas to the kitchen facilities. It was very clean and organized. There was plenty o parking for a house of 8 people. Very quiet being close to the interstate.

Nice touch wit the pool table and fly tying desk.

Absolutely Fabulous

This property exceeded our expectations! The property is extremely well maintained and has all the luxuries of home. We (4 men) spent a week at Scenic Hidden View Estate while fishing the Missouri River. The home was as described in the listing. Inside and out, this is an exceptional rental. Each person had their own bedroom and bath. We cooked in every night and were totally relaxed. I would highly recommend this property, except when I am using it, which we all agreed to stay there on our next trip to the Missouri River. Oh, the views for the look out are splendid. Why would anyone stay any where else. Patrick
