Prime West End location. 1/2 block from the beach and Sea Wall. Perfect for viewing the sunsets, fireworks, boats and ships in English Bay, Stanley Park and the mountains. Short walk to Stanley Park, great shops and restaurants. Close to theatres, museums and concerts. Take the water taxi to Granville Island and the Maritime Museum. Easy access to airport via Sky Train. Short distance via public transportation to ski areas. Bring your bikes and skates as Vancouver offers miles of protected paths and lanes. This is a safe and established neighborhood.

The private and quiet condo was recently fully remodeled. Floor to ceiling windows; a balcony with spectacular views; oak , tile and cork flooring; contemporary furnishing; fully equipped kitchen with granite counters; and luxury towels, linens and comforters. Original artwork and photography is displayed on the walls. For your enjoyment, there is a flat screen TV along with an iPod stereo with wireless speakers.

Included is an iMac computer, printer and wireless high speed internet access.

The living area has seating area featuring a leather couch that converts into a bed that sleeps two as well as a separate matching loveseat. Also in the living room is a workstation for the computer and your office needs. The bedroom has a memory foam topper bed and 100% cotton hi count bedding and two night stands. The remodeled bathroom features a tub and shower combo, and custom oak cabinetry along with a sit on top sink.

The fully-equipped, self-catering kitchen includes a stainless steel refrigerator, ceramic top stove, dishwasher, microwave, and a large stainless sink surrounded by ample cabinets. Since this is our second home, the kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen essentials. Help yourself to whatever is there.

Vancouver is a center for the culinary arts offering a wide variety of truly exceptional restaurants (of all price ranges), boutique markets, bakeries and, of course, Granville Island-all in close proximity. We maintain a regularly updated list of restaurants and markets for your convenience.

Location, Location, Location!

The condo was well equipped and the owners have an extensive book prepared for visitors. Things to do, restaurants and so much more. We were caught off guard by the building being so dated and not very well maintained. The location and view was spot on!

We had an issue with getting our payment to the owners and they were more than patient and easy to communicate with.

Owner's Response: I find it difficult to understand why you would only rate our condo and the experience only 3 stars, with your only negative comment being that the "condo is outdated." We take great pride in the fact that, in spite of being built over 40 years ago, the building is regularly updated with constant improvements both in the exterior as well as in the common areas. We went out of our way to accommodate the guests who were challenged with the billing protocol, including taking the time to walk them through both the payment and deposit process which they mistakenly cancelled payment. We take great pride in our condo, in our building and in the commitment to service that we provide to our guests who, up until this guest, consistently rate us 5 out of 5 stars. I wish I could have received more meaningful suggestions for what we might do to improve upon the experience. We continue to strive to exceed our guests expectations. Unfortunately it is difficult to please everyone.

Convenient peaceful stay near English Bay

My husband and I recently spent a week in Vancouver on a mixture of business and pleasure. We choose Harvey's condo because it was on the west side of Vancouver facing the bay. I guess you could say we are more sunset people than sunrise people. The condo was very convenient to everything including the bike trail system. We rented bikes at The Bayshore Bicycle Co. for the week and did a lot of exploring that way. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The laundry is in the basement of the building and the building itself is very clean and well maintained although somewhat dated. I guessing it was built in the 1960's. Overall, we were very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we ever got to come back to this beautiful city. It was very pleasant to do business with Harvey.

Great location!

We stayed at the property for 2 nights in May 2016. A cozy property perfect for our family (mom and kids 26 and 23). I really appreciated the view, the access to the compact but very well equipped kitchen (including coffee maker and coffee), and the location of the property close to Stanley Park and the Spanish Beach Banks. We had a car and were pleased to have an enclosed garage for our stay. The place was very clean and the bathroom had all necessities and more. We would stay there again.

Amazing

We loved the property. The peacefulness was amazing. You can walk around and feel safe. Cant wait to come back. Just rent a small car. Parking can be tight wherever you go. The place was wonderful and clean and everything we needed. So great. Thank you. Sitting out on the deck either morning or sunset terrific

We would come back to this lovely Vancouver neighborhood

When looking for a place to stay in Vancouver, we were immediately attracted to the idea of parking our car for the three day weekend and not having to use it at all (since we commute to work every day). The location of this condo was perfect and that's just what we did. We went to some great restaurants, spent time on Granville Island and at Stanley Park, and enjoyed spectacular sunsets from the balcony. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.
