How long has it been since you jumped in a lake, watched stars shoot across the night sky, fished from a crystal clear pond or hiked to the top of a mountain? At our home, these are just some of the adventures you and your family can share. This Adirondack style home has a large deck with lakeviews on 11 acres. Family friendly - ping pong table, basketball hoop, badminton, board games, video games and movies. 2 gas fireplaces, newly remodeled kitchen and barbecue. Driveway with room for trailer. Close to town of Bolton Landing with public beaches and a short walk to Lake George Land Conservancy hiking trails and pond for fishing.
Jason and I are married with two teenage boys. We love the quiet of the mountains and the beauty of the lake. We are especially
fond of the friends we have made in the community of Bolton Landing.
Keelin Hutzley purchased this house in 2002
We fell in love with Bolton Landing many years ago and knew that it was a place we wanted to come back to again and again. This home was perfect for our family - the large deck, view of the lake, family room and acreage it has truly become our home away from home. We cherish the memories we have made here with family and friends and now that the kids are getting older we cannot get up to the lake as frequently as we would like to so we are ready to share our home with you!
Jason and the boys particularly like watching the night sky from the deck. Without the light pollution from a larger community they have seen countless shooting stars. The proximity to the hiking trails for Cat and Thomas Mountains, Edgecomb Pond and town make it our perfect location.
We had a wonderful vacation. You have a beautiful house and the location was perfect. Bolton Landing is a great town. I could get addicted to the food at that Cate’s restaurant in particular.
Keelin was very helpful on the phone and by email during the booking process, as well as during our stay. She sent her property manager over within a few hours to replace the propane grill tank, and provided lots of information about all the activities in the area. The house is perfect for a family vacations, and really exceeded our expectations. It worked well for us and 3 children, ages 17, 23 and 26. It was a great break for our older children who live in urban areas. We loved the up-to-date kitchen and bathrooms, and really comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Everything was super clean and well-maintained. The interior decorating fit well with a vacation home in the Adirondacks, and we felt like we were in heaven whenever we sat on the deck and could see Lake George in the distance. ( It was incredibly private since the house sits on 10 mostly wooded acres, but also has a large sloping lawn good for playing catch or doing yoga! We hiked almost every day, leaving from home to pick up incredible trails with summits with amazing views of the lake and the Adirondack Mtns.We enjoyed chilling on warm nights in the basement to play ping pong and watch TV. And the quiet! It was so peaceful at night with no sounds of civilization. We went into Bolton Landing to rent a canoe, use the beaches, and go to restaurants, and to visit the famous Sagamore Hotel. The grocery store was a pleasant surprise, and was very adequate considering that Bolton Landing is a small town. Also, Lake George Village (20 minutes drive) has fireworks and outdoor concerts every week, as well as a lot of nightlife and several big steamboats offer cruises, including a paddle wheel boat which offers a dinner cruise. This was our first time to Lake George, and we hope to be back soon, and would certainly book Keelin and Jason's house again, and recommend it to friends/family.
Very nice and clean house. We had every nesesities and more. Close to hiking and canoeing We had a very relaxing time.
We loved our family vacation in this comfortable and well equipped house! We came here with our four kids (ages 15, 13, 11 and 7). The house had so much to keep the kids busy when we stayed in and the location was great for going out. We loved the nearby beaches. Bolton Landing is such a quaint town and there was so much to do in Lake George. The owners were very responsive and made us feel very welcome and at home. We would be happy to stay there again!
This wonderful home was a great place for women who love being together. The ample bedrooms and baths were more than sufficient, and we enjoyed the comfort and ease of the location. We traveled from here to Fort Ticonderoga, Ausable Chasm, and Mt. Prospect. We took boat rides, mined for garnets, watched fireworks, and ate yummy meals. It was a great week. Thanks go to these great hosts.
We had a wonderful stay at this vacation property! The house was beautiful and very clean. It was very close to town but far enough away to have some privacy and relaxation. We would stay again in the future!
We are repeat tenants at this clean, well-maintained house in Bolton Landing. It is located midway between Saratoga and Lake Placid. The town of Bolton Landing is quaint with several good restaurants. Close by is golf, Lake George, Saratoga and Lake Placid. The house is comfortable and contains everything to have a great vacation. The house owner delivers great customer service and is genuinely concerned about her guest's enjoying their stay. I would definitely recommend this house and we plan to make it our annual vacation house.'
