We love South Fork, CO have been visiting the Wolf Creek Pass area since 1991. However, we have been visiting the state of Colorado since the year that we were married in 1977.
SouthForkRental.com purchased this house in 2005
The feeling of peace and majesty driving into the area is so comforting. We found ourselves going back year after year. We now find that it is a great place to bring family and friends or just visit by ourselves. We love the mountains of Colorado especially in the South Fork, Creede, Wolf Creek Pass area.
There are also fun activities, excellent dining, cute shops, awesome views, and wildlife galore. We hope that you will enjoy staying in our home and visiting the area as much as we do. We look forward to you coming back to visit often.
Wishing you safe travels,
K Nixon
Not clean when we arrived. Had to fix front storm door handle. Door to garage would not lock very well had to work on it... Door to back handle had to be worked on was very loose...Was suitable for only about 9-10 people.. miss represented. burners on stove had to be lit with matches.. Game room was a messy garage with things pilled everywhere. Had to buy 3 bottles of propane $66 to cook outside and heat garage. Not a good experience.. For the price I was expecting a better experience.
We will definitely be back. Loved the house and the location. Everything we needed.
We had a great time.
We had a great time and the house was wonderful. Lots of room. Everything we needed to cook was supplied in the kitchen (pots/pans etc.). The owners were very accommodating and allowed us to extend our check out time.
Had a great vacation. Everything in house was great. Had nice weather but, our elk hunt wasn,t successful. Thanks to Kathy and all involved. Might be back. This was our third stay at the house.
