In this XVI century building we have two different apartments: Apartment named Sforza 1, in Piazza Sforza Cesarini. In the heart of Rome. Close to Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori, ten minutes walk from Spanish Steps, five to Vatican. Very well connected with buses on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. SFORZA 1: Third floor, Beautiful apartment on two levels, The apartment, completely renovated, is equipped with all modern comfort. The apartment can fit up to 5 people and consists of an entrance, living room with fireplace and dining table for six, from the windows a nice view on Piazza Sforza Cesarini, air conditioning hot-cold. One master bedroom with bath in suite with shower. One twin bedroom with bath in suite with shower, and a 'soppalco' with one extra bed, linens and towels are provided. Kitchen on the upper level fully equipped with all necessary cooking supplies, electric stove, electric oven. At this level a nice terrace with dining table.
I had the pleasure of staying in the 2 bedroom apt with my 3 daughters (ages 9,10, &12) for the month of June. The hosts, Edwardo & Anna, are the most lovely people. The apt is large and has a wonderful balcony. There is AC in all rooms, however, be aware that it can be expensive to run ($350 for the month is what we paid). We also used the washer a lot. The only thing that surprised me was that there was only 1 tv and it was very small/old. Wifi was only available in the downstairs twin bedroom and living room. I have stayed at 2 vacation apts since and this was superior to the others. The one I am at now in Florence, only has AC in the living room. Big mistake on my part. Make sure there is AC in the bedrooms. It's hot here! Also, took me a week to figure out the stove. It must have a pan on burner to start. There must be iron in the metal to work, so if you need to, use a spoon on the burner. Ask how to use the washer. Like I said, you couldn't ask for a better location, hosts, and apt in Rome. If we move to Rome from America, we would rent this apt for a year. I like the 3 floor walk-up, good for the bum! A Italian film was being shot in the 1 bed-room below us. Hope you enjoy this apt as much as we did. I just wanedt clean, AC, and Internet, but got so much more here.
This appartment is so charming and made a perfect stay for us - two couples - during our vacation in Rome. We could not have found a better place to stay.
It was very clean and well maintained and we felt secure and safe in these surroundings.
Booking was very easy and fast with Anna, and Edoardo was so helpful at check-in.
We will surely recommend this property to anyone, who is going to Rome.
Because of the central location, it was easy for us to walk to see - Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Forum Romanum, Colosseum, Vatican etc.
On the ground floor there is a very good restaurant, Luigi. Very good food and good service. We alså went to Barfetto, very good pizza but bad service.
When we go back to Rome, we wil call you again - THANK YOU SO MUCH for this wonderful vacation.
Our family (including two teenagers) stayed here in October 2010. Anna and Edoardo were excellent hosts and our contact with each of them was very pleasant and professional; in particular Edoardo went out of his way to ensure that our visit went smoothly, for which we remain very grateful. The location is magnificent (we were able to walk to all the major sights within Rome) and the apartment is a wonderful refuge to return to after a busy day(or night) out. We felt safe, secure and relaxed during our stay. We hope - one day! - to return again.
We spent 4 nights with 2 teenagers in June 2010. in the 2 bedroomed apartment. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully decorated in a traditional style, with all modern conveniences.
It was very central, the Vatican and Trevi Fountain is within walking distance .
Ideal for a family or 2 couples. Very enjoyable holiday. Eduardo was very helpful.

As we all know, 'Location' is king with property- Sforza 1 scores top marks, since Piazza Sforza Caesarini is so well located we could walk [almost!] everywhere, it really is the perfect place to stay. Most days we returned to the apartment for a short rest in the middle of the day before continuing our chosen itinery.
Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We chose to have about half of our meals in the apartment, but could not resist the chance to eat al fresco in the glorious early spring Roman weather.
Making booking arrangements through Anna was fast and efficient. Eduardo greeted us on arrival and went to great lengths to make us at home.
Special touches included him helping me surprise my wife with a birthday cake the day after our arrival :)
Importantly the apartment feels very safe with good security. There is a restaurant on the ground floor of the apartment building and the waiters were very friendly to us and were clearly aware of who was coming and going.
We would thoroughly recommend Sforza 1 for a family holiday in Rome and if we get a chance to return, we will snap up Sforza 1 ourselves!
Thank you Anna and Eduardo, Ciao! :)
