Bright, cheerful corner partment with elevator; ideal location within distance of the Louvre, Opera Garnier, Palais Royal, and a supermarket. Metro and multiple bus lines one block away. Charmingly decorated and fully equiped. We have been staying in the apartment each year since 1999.
Its been my pleasure to stay at this location several times over the past few years. There are so many convenient aspects about the apartment, though best of all for me is I always feel at home and not at all like a tourist while in town. The cozy loft style apartment is very well appointed and spotless, not to mention oozing with classic French style, exposed beams, rustic architecture and yet contemporary conveniences that make being here an effortless joy. From the newly renovated kitchenette with dish washer, stove top and oven, to the roomy rain shower and HE washer dryer units, all perfect for feeling right at home in Paris.
Located on the top floor corner (there is an elevator) it feels very private and offers a lovely view down Rue St Anne and is often romantically flooded with sunlight through its many French style windows. Early evenings call for an aperitif overlooking the sunset of the Paris rooftops and Parisian street below, with cues lining up for some of the best Japanese cuisine in the city.
A relatively quiet and hidden little nook within a very chíc part of town. Just steps away from the Louvre, Opera, and incredible shopping. Convenient Monoprix at the corner as well as an amazing Japanese/French Bakery just outside the front door. Convenient to several Metro stops. Some of our favorite restaurants, and cafes are just steps away from the apartment. Perfect location for a truly Parisian experience. HIGHLY recommended!! I really can not say enough..
We stayed in this fabulous apartment in April 2016. It was just perfect! The location couldn't possible be better. We walked to all major museums and attractions in Paris. This apartment was not just convenient - it is so comfortable, spotless and well equipped. The bed is heavenly, and our son slept great on the pull out couch. The apartment contains a library of reference books that will help you get the most of your trip to Paris. It has all modern amenities, yet holds so much charm.
Gosh, where do I begin?
The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos!! It is creatively and tastefully decorated with a delightful feeling of whimsy that is perfect for Paris. Right on the corner downstairs is a boulangerie for fresh bread, down the street is a great little grocery store and the Metro and buses are steps away. Next to the grocery is a yummy patisserie, filled with sweet delights. The apartment is situated off the Blvd. L'Opera in an area filled with Asian restaurants that are great. Fear not, though, classic French brasseries and restaurants are nearby. The walk to the Louvre is about 10 minutes, same for the gorgeous L'Opera and the major department stores and boutiques in the City. The location is perfect for viewing the old City, plus the main tourist office for Paris is right next to the grocery store. You can buy tickets for everything you want and skip the lines, get Metro tickets etc. Everything you need is at your fingertips!
We chose to have breakfast at home everyday and had two or three dinners there as well if it was a tiring day sightseeing. The kitchen is petite but has everything you need. There is a sweet WC and a separate bathroom with a very nice shower! In addition, a washer/dryer! No need to pack tons of clothing; save room for goodies to bring home with you! The loft bedroom is very nice; a comfortable king size bed and a bureau. There is an armoire downstairs by the bathroom for hanging clothing in as well.
Christine is just the best hostess. She spends plenty of time telling you everything you want to know and is always available if you need help or have any questions at all. Her manager, Fadila, is so sweet. She doesn't speak English but seems to understand everything and is most helpful. She picked us up at the airport and dropped us off as well for a very reasonable fee. The service all around is wonderful. Trust me, you are in good hands!
My parting words. Both my husband and I felt "at home" and were happy to return to this charming apartment after a busy day. I would love to stay here longer and experience Paris in depth. You will fall in love with Christine and her fabulous apartment!! C'est magnifique!
W stayed in Christine's apartment in January 2015 and enjoyed it immensely. The location is excellent, close to 2 Metro stops on different lines. The Monoprix at the end of the street is very handy and well-stocked for groceries. The apartment is incredibly comfortable and cosy, very well-equipped and beautifully decorated and furnished. Christine was very helpful in all our dealings and we recommend this apartment highly. We've stayed in a few others and this is definitely a superior experience. We were there for four weeks and on a couple of afternoons when we thought we'd just stay in and sit around, reading, watching the TV etc it felt like a home away from home.
The apartment, the location, the owner, and her assistant who met us at the apartment are all a delight. The metro stop is very close as is a well-stocked grocery store. The apartment is very comfortable -even the sofa bed. We cooked dinner for 2 Parisian friends as the small kitchen is well-equipped, and the dining area is lovely. Our Parisian friends were delighted with the lovely old building (which surprisingly has a lift).
Christine is a pleasure to work with, and has beautifully furnished the apartment so it has a warm, homey feeling. I've been in Paris about 5 times, and this was the best place in which I've stayed.
This is the best apartment I have stayed in during all my visits to Paris. The location of the apartment is perfect. It's in a walking distance to many attractions like the Opera, the Louvre , etc... There are many restaurants around and you can simply go walking around. The area is beautiful. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need. It's clean and neat. And has an elevator which is cool. Christine was super nice and kind. It was a pleasure dealing with her and Fadila.
I would choose this apartment again when I visit Paris.
Within walking distance of the Champs Elysees
