Beautiful indoor and outdoor speaker system. Charming pathway lights on granite and brick walkway to welcome you to your home away from home.
5-minute walk to private beach, farm in neighborhood - perfect to visit and view the Scottish Highlanders, commuter rail and bus services close by. Central to everything the South shore. Classic New England neighborhood.
Just a few words to express our deep appreciation and delight for having been able to enjoy the comfortable and homey, yet tastefully elegant amenities of your beautiful home over the past week!
Thank you as well for the heart warming tote bag - we carried it throughout the week on our daily excursions!
The master bed was most comfortable in providing a great night's rest after our busy days! Your home served as the perfect "home base" for our Sunday exploration of Plymouth Harbor, our Monday excursion on the Island Queen Ferry to Martha's Vineyard, a Tuesday drive to enjoy Newport, R.I.'s mansions, driving to Quincy Adams Station on Wed/Thurs where we took the Red Line "T" into Boston for the JFK Library/Museum and the Freedom Trail! On Friday, due to heavy rains, we were very happy just to read, relax, and enjoy the comforts of your wonderful home!
Also, truly enjoyed dinner at the Daniel Webster Inn and the comfort food - Shepherd's Pie, fresh hummus, and great pizza at the British Beer Company right down the road!
Were grateful for Shaw's Grocery Store! Once again, Ally and Ryan, many many thanks! Will most likely be contacting the two of you for an "encore" visit! Best wishes.
This was the second vacation my family has spent in Cape Cod. However this was the first, we all agreed was the most fun and enjoying. The Johnson's could not have done anymore to make us feel at home... Every time one of our family members said 'I wonder if they have' and it was there. I mean from spices, to pots and pans, to unique adult type puzzles (similar to the old rubics cube). The home was more then fully furnished and truly provided a homey atmosphere.
The information loose leaf notebook provided explicit instruction, for the air conditioning controls; items for check in and check out; place to dine; things to do; it had everything to make our vacation an awesome experience. We feel we have made new friends. That is how the Johnson's have made us feel.
We highly recommend this home for an outstanding vacation experience.

We spent the first week in July here. The house was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, updated, and spacious. Everything we needed was available in the well supplied home. It was an easy and convenient place for us to enjoy the comforts of the home to relax and visit with family, and also to travel to the sights we wanted to see in the area.
The beach was a quick walk down the road and was a relaxing place for a morning or evening walk. We walked the neighborhood every morning and found it to be a peaceful and lovely neighborhood. The deck was a peaceful, private place to visit and grill our dinner. We enjoyed the fireworks that could be seen from the beach. We packed our week with touring the area. We were close enough to see, Salem, Boston, Plymouth, Provincetown and all of Cape Cod.
Ally and Ryan were great to work with. We liked the personal touch of chatting with them on the phone before booking. They answered all questions and we felt like we knew them before we came. They made us feel like if we needed anything they were only a phone call away. We didn't need to bother them as everything was ready, and perfect. The book they left for us explained everything you could want to know about how things worked in the house and tips for local sights, conveniences and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. It made for a perfect vacation.
Our overall experience from the initial booking to the end of our stay was excellent.
Before booking the house we had the opportunity to speak with Ally and Ryan who answered any questions we had about renting the property and reassured us before paying for the rental.
During the booking process Ally was easily contactable by e mail and responded promptly to any enquiries.
Near to the arrival date we received full details about the property.
The property was in excellent order and an ideal location to visit Boston and Cape Cod. There are very good local services and plenty of places to eat out. The beach at Sandwich was lovely. Throughly enjoyed trip to Provincetown and Nantucket Island.
The few enquiries we had during the stay were dealt with promptly and Ally responded to our e mails very quickly.
Overall the house was ideal and in a great location

We enjoyed this home in Plymouth. Great location if you are visiting the Cape, Boston or other New England towns. Also very close to groceries and restaurants. The home is very comfortable for a large group and is stocked with many necessities. Ally & Ryan are great hosts and are available for any questions and respond very quickly. If our future travel plans bring us to New England we would definitely stay again.
Thanks so much!!
This is possibly one of the most beautiful houses I have stayed in. It is located in a private, secluded area surrounded by woodland but still a few minutes walk to a private beach where we loved to explore. It is close to local shops and major routes which take you on to the Cape or up to Boston. The house itself is most beautifully decorated and so well equipped, it felt like home from home.
There are so many places to visit in the area which kept both adults, a teenager and a older child happy - not an a easy thing to achieve! At the end of our busy days, the house was a calm and welcome retreat. We visited Boston a few times which left us with such beautiful memories - we recommend the Duck Tour for a fun afternoon. A visit to Chatham provided me with numerous shopping and eating opportunities! Captain Jon's Whale Watching tour from Plymouth Harbour was spectacular as was our visit 'out of state' to the Newport Mansions, Rhode Island.
The house was immaculate and the owners were contactable at all times and often sending emails to check if we needed anything and if all was well.
I would most definitely recommend this home to anybody visiting the area - and indeed, we already have done so!
We had an amazing stay in Plymouth at Ally and Ryan's home! This is a great place for families and in our case, we had everything we needed for our one and two year old boys - the basement is full of toys, pack-n-play, booster seat, stroller and so much more! The house is gorgeous, in a very quiet neighborhood and would really be perfect for any group. All of the tourist attractions like the Mayflower, Plymouth Rock and Plimouth Plantation are about a 15 minutes drive away, along with lots of amazing restaurants. Mama Mia's has the best pizza I have ever had! It was also much easier than we thought to take the T into Boston for a Red Sox game at Fenway. I bet this house would be an amazing place to stay during Thanksgiving with all of the history and beautiful fall colors!
Ellisville State Park, access to private beach, seaglassing, fresh fish market, grocery store, pharmacy, post office, diner, gas station, coffee shop, walking, jogging, bike path, farm.
