Beautiful two-story home built in 2006, two blocks from the Beach. Laie LDS Temple right around the corner. Walking distance to shopping center, BYU of Hawaii. Quiet neighborhood! Ten minutes from Turtle Bay Resort with two 18 Hole Championship Golf Courses. North Shore, Sunset Beach, Sharks Cove and Wamaie Bay Beaches are all minutes away. The Famous Hukilau Cafe 1 block away. Perfect rental for big families.
There are three bedrooms and two baths on the top level and 2 bedrooms and one bath on the lower level. The top level has the kitchen and both levels have family rooms. There is 1 king size bed, 1 queen and 2 fulls(in same room) on the top level and 1 king and 1 full on the lower level. There is one sofa queen size bed on the lower level.
This is an amazing home with a warm and welcoming spirit. The air conditioning was a plus and the rooms are spacious. The beds were comfortable and the entire home is well furnished. The WiFi and TVs all worked. The amenities for the beach were also a plus. If I could make one or two suggestions it would be to have extra garbage containers for recycle and trash. The two that were there were full and the next recycle day was a week away. The towels had a mil-dew smell to them. They might have been left in the washer or not dried completely.
I will recommend this rental to everyone and I would definitely rent it again.
This was a nice home with a quiet neighborhood surrounding it. If you're a light sleeper, the neighboring roosters and noise from the air conditioner might be a bit of an issue. The layout was comfortable and functional. It was nice to be tucked in the middle of the block and walking to the beach or nearby LDS temple was a short stroll. The beach near this home was just perfect for my 9 and 13 year old children. They loved the size of the waves and the beach was not crowded at all.
The older kids in our group wanted larger waves but they were only about a 10 minute drive and the younger ones enjoyed the sandy beaches. We loved the fact that we weren't surrounded by the crowds of people that can be found on Waikiki and in Honolulu.
We have told the owners about a couple of amenities that were listed that were not available for us, but hopefully they have them fixed or replaced for the next vacationers. All in all, for the price and people we had, this was a perfect little spot and we'd stay here again.
Enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect house to hold many fanilies. There's even a large patio area to use. It was handy having a washer and dryer! We loved it!
Great space! It's tucked back from the road, so it's quiet. Clean, nice to have beach towels & beach toys to use.
Overall, our family liked staying at this house because it was clean and spacious. One concern were the exiting instructions because we didn't discover them on the closet door until the very last moments as we were cleaning up to leave. It would've been nice to know about them earlier since they were very specific.
This house had plenty of room for our family of 10 plus a baby. Port-a-crib was available for use too. 5 bedrooms , some with multiple beds and three baths were big. Location to the beach was great. 3 short walking blocks and you were there! Lots of sand toys etc to use. We ate all our breakfasts and lunches in the roomy kitchen. Washer and dryer were a great plus. This house is not fancy or modern but has everything a large family needs. We stopped at Costco after arriving at Honolulu and filled up on groceries which made meals easy. There is a nice grocery store just a few blocks away.
