Beautiful two-story home built in 2006, two blocks from the Beach. Laie LDS Temple right around the corner. Walking distance to shopping center, BYU of Hawaii. Quiet neighborhood! Ten minutes from Turtle Bay Resort with two 18 Hole Championship Golf Courses. North Shore, Sunset Beach, Sharks Cove and Wamaie Bay Beaches are all minutes away. The Famous Hukilau Cafe 1 block away. Perfect rental for big families.
There are three bedrooms and two baths on the top level and 2 bedrooms and one bath on the lower level. The top level has the kitchen and both levels have family rooms. There is 1 king size bed, 1 queen and 2 fulls(in same room) on the top level and 1 king and 1 full on the lower level. There is one sofa queen size bed on the lower level.
Great space! It's tucked back from the road, so it's quiet. Clean, nice to have beach towels & beach toys to use.
Overall, our family liked staying at this house because it was clean and spacious. One concern were the exiting instructions because we didn't discover them on the closet door until the very last moments as we were cleaning up to leave. It would've been nice to know about them earlier since they were very specific.
This house had plenty of room for our family of 10 plus a baby. Port-a-crib was available for use too. 5 bedrooms , some with multiple beds and three baths were big. Location to the beach was great. 3 short walking blocks and you were there! Lots of sand toys etc to use. We ate all our breakfasts and lunches in the roomy kitchen. Washer and dryer were a great plus. This house is not fancy or modern but has everything a large family needs. We stopped at Costco after arriving at Honolulu and filled up on groceries which made meals easy. There is a nice grocery store just a few blocks away.
Aloha! We felt like home being at this property. We stayed for almost 2 weeks, and after a long day exploring we looked forward to coming back to this place at the end of the day. We had everything we needed at the house, and didn't have to worry about anything else but stocking our refrigerator with food for the kids. We loved taking walks in the neighborhood in the evenings, and seeing the beautiful temple near by. The neighborhood is safe, and we loved the "island" feel of the community. We loved walking to church on Sunday, and wearing our flip flops to service (something we can't do in the mainland USA). The Polynesian Cultural Center is only 5 mins away (a must see); the beach is only a few minutes walk. Foodland (supermarket) is only around the block, and Longs (pharmacy) is also a mile away. This place was just perfect for us. This was the first time for my children to see Hawaii, and we were so happy we found this home. We created memories as a family that we will always cherish, and this home is now our called our "Hawaii home". Now, we're trying to make another trips like this next year, and come back again - and we'll definitely return to - "our Hawaii home". - Mahalo
