Private Home with 300' of Beautiful Little Glen Frontage

Half Baths1
Space 3,700 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 7 nights

About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths (sleeps 8 can accomodate up to ten w/conditions)

This is a large and spacious home with plenty of room to spread out and relax. It is one of the largest lots left on Glen Lake. The house sits on three lots so there is plenty of privacy. While not new it is certainly well maintained with many new appliances. The kitchen, master bedroom, and living room have views of the lake. The Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes can be viewed from the front yard. Alligator Hill hiking trails are just across the street. Plenty of parking with two driveways. Glen Arbor is just a few minute drive away.

This is the perfect place to relax, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy all that the lakes have to offer. Glen Lake has a sandy bottom with crystal clear water that is shallow a long ways out. Perfect for swimming and family fun in the water. Voted as the most beautiful spot in America last year.

The master bedroom is truly a master with a king size bed, full bathroom, sitting area, desk and table. It has its own deck.

The Queen bedroom is wood paneled and quiet for those late sleepers.

The two twin bedrooms are upstairs and perfect for children or those who don't want to be disturbed.

We prefer to rent to groups of 8 but will make exceptions for groups of up to ten. Certain conditions apply, contact me for more information.

Comfortable & spacious cottage. The owner was very courteous and more than accommodating. Great location on little Glen lake. Spectacular sunset view over the dunes while relaxing lakeside. Wonderful family vacation.

DO NOT RENT THIS HOUSE!!! Nasty house - scary owner

  • 1 of 5

The house is in deplorable condition, it is FILTHY and it smells like a sewer and mold. I felt sick just being in the house.

The owner is a very SCARY AND DANGEROUS man. On check out morning, the owner showed up (15 min before check out) and sat in his car and glared at my 20 yr old son as he was packing up his car. The owner then went into a rage, screaming profanities at my son and threatened to shoot him. It was horrifying! Needless to say our week in Glen Arbor was ruined. Stay away from this house.

Owner's Response: And now, for the rest of the story… It is my opinion that the above review was submitted in response to my being upset with the condition our home was left in. The guest had originally planned on leaving early. They then changed their mind. I believe that the adults did depart early and left our home in the care of their under-aged children who proceeded to have a party. They broke a closet door off the hinges, ruined a screen door, damaged the glass doors in a tub surround, used the arm chair slip covers as beer rags, soaked some upholstered chairs in beer, left water stains on other upholstered furniture not to mention the many bags of refuse that I had to remove from the home. As far as any odors, no one or myself has noticed or mentioned anything about it in the 5+ years we have rented the property. The allegation that I somehow threatened the son is so “over the top” that I have no idea how to respond. With regard to their time in Glen Arbor being ruined I’ll just say that anyone who comes to this area with the sense of privilege, entitlement, and arrogance that this lady displayed will probably find that the folks around here will not take too kindly to it.

This house is just beautiful! It's decor takes you back to a better time but you still get the conveniences of modern day time (ie, cable, internet, appliances, etc.) This house is wonderful! This place is great for family, a friends get together, or even for couples. My husband and I rented the house for a week, we spent 3 nights with friends and the other nights were just us. It was so nice. We lounged around, spent time on the dock, took our boat out, and went to nearby shops and restaurants. We plan to be back next year!!!!!!!

PS- The house was VERY clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the owner was very attentive to everything!!!!!!

PPS- So many activities are near by- Sleeping Bear Dunes along with National Park Drives that include walks and great sights. Again this is not including the lake, the house is at a wonderful spot on the lake! Goes from shallow to deep. Fun for ALL ages!!!!!!
