About Tammy Hass
I grew up in Philadelphia, Tn on a small horse farm. I moved to Chattanooga to go to college and have stayed here since. Like kudzu my roots go 6 feet under.
Tammy Hass purchased this House in 2016
Why Tammy Hass chose Chattanooga
I had this property build for a vacation rental. I own the whole block. The other houses are yearly rentals. I have been playing Monopoly in my neighborhood since 1983.
What makes this House unique
The city of Chattanooga is experiencing rapid redevelopment, economic growth, and what some call "gentrification". This means that if you stay in the city, you are likely to be on a street with a wide variety of properties, ranging from very good condition, to fair, to vacant. In addition, there is great racial, cultural, and economic diversity with city residents. I live across the street and love it here, but it may not be for everyone. I want all guests to consider this prior to booking, so no unfavorable review result.

Peaceful Chattanooga stay
Everything was perfect! Anything you could possibly need has been provided. The house was so clean and tidy and perfectly decorated for the season. Everything was perfect.
Thanks for the kind words! I am so glad you came to Chattanooga and stayed at my place! Hope you return soon. Love that Bentley and very handsome. The house was just like when you had arrived...neat and tidy! I sure did enjoy chatting with all of you. Thanks
Immaculate, family friendly home away from home!
Tammy’s home was amazing! Traveling with small children is an undertaking, but Tammy had everything to accommodate them! She had a high hair, pack n play, toys, and even a stool for washing hands! Those were just the things we used; she also had a potty seat and a nursing pillow! Tammy was so kind and stopped by to say hello when we first arrived. She had the pantry stocked with cereal and oatmeal for breakfast as well as staples like flour and sugar. She even provided coffee creamer! You really didn’t have to bring anything other than your clothes! This will be our go-to place when we visit Chattanooga! Thanks, Tammy!!
Molly and her family were a pleasure to have at Gray Gables! Everything was well taken care of and I really enjoyed chatting with them....until next time! They truly come highly recommended to any of you hosts!
The house is so cute and well cared for. It’s super clean and has everything you could possibly need.
Jessica and her family took wonderful care of the house. She was a fantastic guest, and I would rent to her any time. Hosts, you have a keeper with Jessica!
An awesome place to stay in Chattanooga
This charming home was stocked with anything a person might need. There is a cute playground for kids directly across the street from the property that belongs to the owner. There is also shuffleboard, Cornhole and bocce ball. There is ample parking. An excellent option for friends or family instead of being in an overpriced hotel. We will definitely stay at one of this person's properties when in the area.
Donna and her friends were awesome guests! Great communication, took excellent care of the house and I highly recommend them to any future hosts. They were the kind of people that you would love to have as neighbors! Cannot wait to see you all again. Fore!!
Home away from home
We arrived late on the date of check in. Tammi had the house completely ready for us with lights on. She even answered a late night call when I forgot the instructions to get into the home. Grey Gables is beautifully decorated, very clean and has everything a young family could need. Local family came to visit us and we had more than enough room to entertain inside and outside. The gardens and playground across the street were great for keeping the kids occupied during down times. Tammi's hospitality is second to none and she offered great ideas for us to explore over the week. The house offered the space we needed for 6 of us which would have been very crowded and expensive in a hotel. There was no worry when it came to the house, only the time we spent away from it. And every time we returned we could easily relax. We will definitely rent from Tammi again the next time we are in Chattanooga!
Jackie and her family were extra ordinary guests! The house was immaculate and she did some of the cleaner's duties. I really enjoyed interacting with the children...a battle of the checkers! Making memories! Can't wait for you to visit Chattanooga again. I loved talking to your father Saturday morning on the porch. It was a wonderful way to start my morning and gave me food for thought. Highly recommended. Come again soon!
Gray Gables Get Away
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tammy's house, Gray Gables. It is located on a street with hardly any traffic and is less than three miles from downtown. It was very conveniently located for a girls' hiking and whitewater rafting trip. We were not far from Lookout Mountain and our Signal Point trail. We were able to arrive at our whitewater outpost in about 45 minutes. After our active days, we had time to relax in her darling home and on her inviting front porch. The property was very clean and had many amenities for both adults and children. Tammy was there to greet us when we arrived and was very welcoming. We enjoyed a tour of her beautiful flower gardens which are located across the street. We hope to be able to return to this property or the new one she is building next door! Thank you Tammy for a great stay!
The ladies were awesome! They took wonderful care of the house and I highly recommend them and can't wait to see them again! Life is short, live it to the fullest!
