Aloha and welcome to our piece of Hawaiian paradise! It is located in the beachfront complex Islander On The Beach located in Kapa'a, Kauai, HI. They are located on six lushly landscaped oceanfront acres. Each condo features a balcony/lanai where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and complete or partial ocean views and are only a few strides away from a private beach.
We also have a handful of other oceanfront and ocean view units available if the featured property, #345, is not available. Please read rates/notes section for cost breakdown explanation.
Soak up the sun in the ocean-side pool, or relax in the Jacuzzi while sipping a Mai Tai from the poolside Tiki Hut bar. There are also Weber BBQ grills by the pool free to use.
Centrally located in the town of Kapa'a, you are 30 miles from both the north and south shores. The enchanting Wailua River and Fern Grotto are less than two miles from the complex where you can boat, hike, and/or kayak. You are also less than 200 yards from the Coconut Marketplace, which has over 50 specialty shops and restaurants.

We stayed in unit 152 and were completely happy. The room is a (short) stone's throw from the water. It's accommodations are excellent! The kitchen is well stocked with everything except food. :>) The bed was quite comfy, the shower large, the A/C was perfect. Wifi, although not directly in this room, was easily reachable, steady, and fast.
I cannot say enough good words about the management company, KrellersGetaway. Brad was absolutely FANTASTIC! He was easily reachable and always returned our calls quickly. He was very accommodating to some of our special requests and overall, a joy to work with.
A will definitely stay here again!!

We spent a wonderful month on this beautiful island. We stayed at Kreller's Getaway in unit #345. A great view of the ocean and sunrises, steady sound of the surf, lanai was always a welcome respite from the heat of the day with cool breezes. The unit was exactly as advertised and is a great value. The location is perfect to explore any part of the island and we appreciated the close proximity of a few stores, a good coffee shop and grocery stores. The king size bed was comfortable, bathroom a good size, kitchen facilities handy to have. Brad provided outstanding customer service, responding very quickly to any questions or issues, The resort is well maintained, very pretty. Very basic facilities, a small pool, hot tub, BBQ's, small bar. Nightly entertainment several times a week which we enjoyed from our lanai. It was never crowded while we were there so always lots of chairs around the pool. Not a great swimming or walking beach but there's a path that runs parallel to it, a good 40 minute walk from resort to end of path and back. And it was great to wake up and see and hear the ocean every day. And there are lots of beaches on the island. We'd recommend this as a great place from which to explore the island.
I stayed in #115 (2 queens) w/2 girlfriends 1 week & we had a glorious time. Sunrise in the beach is worth the early rise! Unit is by parking lot but we never heard any noise. Also, website said beach towels included, there were 2 so we just had to stop to purchase extra for 3rd person- no problem. Very nice, excellent value. Check out Hindu Monastery on a rainy day. Located midway between north/south- ideal for 1st time traveler to Kauai or those traveling 'budget friendly'.
We stayed a month in our wonderful unit and couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. The location was perfect. We had everything we needed and loved it so much we've already booked a month for next year. Brad Kreller responds quickly to emails and makes the booking process a breeze!
My stay was Amazing, to see and hear the Ocean upfront, wonderful view, sound and smell.
Property was clean, everything you need is in room, also Brad the Manager provided Great service, very helpful at all times, have recommended to friends. The Grounds are immaculate, everything is close by if you don't have car it's not a problem, short walk to stores.😎
The Islander has been renovated in recent years and all the rooms are very, very nice. While 329 is similar to all the other rooms the owners have given it extra love and it is noticeable. It has a fresh, beautiful repaint, bright cheery bathroom curtain and bedspread. Believe me, we've stayed in other rooms and the small touches makes a difference. They have expanded the bed platform for a King mattress!! (Bonus: the larger platform makes a perfect spot to stash your suitcase underneath!). They also build a custom shelf in the kitchen for the microwave and other items. Most units just have appliances stacked up three high on the countertop, and this addition makes so much more pleasant to brew morning coffee or make a light dinner. There is a large ceiling fan, wireless internet, and the wall-mounted flat screen TV makes the dresser available for use, so the room is so much less cluttered. Other much appreciated amenities are decent beach chairs! ( It is so ridiculous to rent chairs for two weeks) and the extra refrigerator is essential because it has a freezer for your water bottles and ice. Of course, the view is fabulous. I would highly recommend staying here.
Have stayed in half a dozen or so Krellers properties, and on earlier visits stayed in 3 different rooms run by the hotel. This is the nicest room, in terms of furniture, decor, amenities, etc. It's my impression the owners care very much, so this is a lovely place to stay. Nihau footpath noisier and busier than footpath by Kauai building, perhaps owing to proximity of pool area and adjacent restauarnt. Further back from ocean than Kauai building; otherwise, ideal. Note: On and around the winter solstice, the sun rises directly in front of the unit. True of all oceanfront units, but only on and around Dec. 21, and for about 8 weeks before and after. Definitely one of the best units in entire complex.
