Located off a lovely square surrounded by merchants galore, sits this beautiful & bright one bedroom apartment in a classic 19th Century Parisian building. Walk through the open courtyard & up 1 flight of stairs to your home away from home... in Paris.
Conveniently located, you'll be walking distance from the Eiffel Tower & 1 block away from Metro 'Vaugirard.' Kick back at the cafe downstairs after a long day of sight-seeing. Or cross the street to sample cheese from the world-class fromagerie Androuet. The wine shop is right next door not to mention bakery, butcher, fish & fruits. Perfect for a cozy night at home with the taste of Paris right out your front door.
Purchased in 2010, the place has undergone a head to toe renovation. Architecturally re-designed, the apartment features a fully-equipped open kitchen, as well as new bathroom & bedroom with tons of storage space.

My husband is from Paris & as an American growing up in Switzerland it was important for us to keep some roots in Europe. Now living in Los Angeles, we love returning to Paris for a French fix when we can. Our apartment is very special to us & we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Cedric Martin purchased this apartment in 2010
I lived in this neighborhood for years & love that it's lively yet not too touristy. It's extremely safe & everything you need is within walking distance.
Your morning cup of coffee is literally downstairs at Cafe Beuret. Cross the square for one of the best pain au chocolate in town (Boulangerie Pichard). Suit up & jog to Champs de Mars with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Lively family neighborhood with excellent shops for essentials: wine, bakery, butcher, organics, fish and seafood, cheeses, veggies and fruits. Multiple options are just steps away. Restaurants of every genre except 3***'s and McDo. Convenient to buses, Metro, easy walk to Eiffel Tower. Owners are very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Nice to have lots of information in the apartment on the area as well as the links on the vrbo page.
Awesome neighborhood, friendly and helpful people at café downstairs, convenient to metro (M12 4 minute walk). Apartment was amazing. Keyless entry simplified things. Modern, exceptionally clean. We could not have been more thrilled. Suggest you get a metro pass and a metro map (they are free just ask when you buy your pass), and a 4 day Musee pass. Bring your walking shoes. The neighborhood had 2 of everything (patisserie, Fromage stores, Café's, super market, Charcuterie shop).
This is the second time that my husband and I stayed at this apartment. It was as perfect as we remembered. It is a five minute walk from Vaugirard Metro, and well situated above a cafe perfect for morning coffee and afternoon beer. The owners are very responsive to any questions or concerns. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip.
We stayed at Lucy & Cedric's cosy apartment for a week while in Paris. Location couldn't have been better. Everything you need is steps from your door. Major sites can be accessed either by metro or a short taxi ride. The apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. An information booklet was available and came in handy. Cedric responded within minutes to our questions. Check-in was a breeze. Transportation to and from airport was pre-arranged with rental management and went smoothly. Would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends. Hope to return next year for a longer period of time. Thank you for sharing your home.
Owners Cedric and Lucy were easy to work with, responded quickly to any issues. Apartment was as advertised, no nasty surprises.Everything close by,metro 5min,restaurants bakery, butcher, fromagerie, fruit vendors, fish vendors everything is about 5min a way . Would stay there again if I went back. No air conditioning so don't know what it would be like in the summer. Mike and Mona
I really enjoyed my time in this apartment. Found it to be clean and comfortable, and I am very particular on these two things. I made good use of the washer/dryer (which allowed me to pack more lightly, although European compact washer/dryers like this have very long run cycles, so don't let that surprise you). I enjoyed coming home each night, warming some water for tea, eating some good food from the neighborhood shops, and resting from my busy day of taking in the beautiful city.
Staying here really gives you the feel of living like a local. I loved it. There are so many wonderful stores right at your doorstep. Get a chicken freshly roasted with potatoes from the butcher, a baguette and cake from the bakery, and some wine and cheese from the small specialty shops. There is also a Carrefour supermarket around the corner where you can pick up convenience foods, wine, paper towels, and any other essentials you may need. The owners have provided a very handy book with info on the area for your convenience.
The metro is less than a five minute walk; I felt very safe in the area, as there is also a police station just down the block which you walk by on the way to and from the metro. The Eiffel Tower is in the opposite direction, a 1.3 mile walk if you are up for it. I did it twice, and felt safe the whole time. You also catch peeks of the tower from various positions on the streets around the apartment.
The management company was responsive, as was the owner. They were a pleasure with which to work. The rep from the management company came to meet me upon check-out and was kind enough to help me with my bag (there is a staircase leading to the apartment, so be prepared for that with your bags) and called a cab for me on his phone, as mine was experiencing spotty service.
I didn't find the mattress to be that comfortable, but I am spoiled with a plush pillowtop at home. This is a typical european mattress and they tend to be a bit on the skinny side. But I am a stickler for clean beds and this one was great in that respect.
The only other small thing I noticed is that at peak times of the evening, the hot water would run out a bit quickly (8-10pm). Not a problem since I was traveling solo, but that may be a bit inconvenient with a couple of people. Later in the evening, 11:30-midnight or so, the water lasted longer.
Overall, I am so happy that I was able to spend my week in this wonderful apartment at such a great rate. Thank you so much!!!
