This is a charming year round lakefront cottage only 25 minutes east of Saratoga, New York located at the northeast end of Cossayuna Lake. Truly a great location. Bring your own boat or jet ski that can be docked on our private 70 foot dock (NYS boat launch is close by) or use OUR 2 canoes, a paddle boat or 14 foot fishing boat with the use of an electric motor/power motor and a swimming platform out in the water on this beautiful 3 mile long NYS stocked fishing lake.
Sit on the patio for a barbeque with two picnic tables or have a campfire nestled in a grove of hemlocks. Enjoy the lake water with a very large fun island, with numerouse water tubes. You can enjoy watching the sunset every night while sitting on our lakeside deck or patio.
This is a clean well-maintained two bedroom cottage offering a open living area with full kitchen and dining area with a panoramic view of the lake. Pillows and blankets are provided, a baby highchair and pack and play are available, if needed.

Myself and my two best girlfriends, of over 20 years, get together every year for a week away. This year we chose Cossayuna Lake and were lucky enough to find this lakefront cottage!! As soon as we walked in we knew we had found the perfect spot!! It is warm and inviting and once we opened the blinds and saw the view we were just in awe!! The whole cottage has anything and everything you could ever need or want. It is quiet and private too. The owner was so nice to work with as well. I will recommend this little slice of heaven to anyone who might be looking in this area. I might even try to convince my husband to take me back here for a nice, quiet get away...away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Also, being 3 women alone, we could not have felt safer, not a worry in the world. My friends and I have added this little spot to our list of "do overs", without a doubt!!!!!
Living just 2 blocks from the ocean, it had been years since our last "real" vacation much less since we were in the greater Lake George area. Needless to say, it was well worth the wait, and the lake house was everything we were hoping it would be. Off the beaten track, but easy enough to find with everything you could need or want just a quick & scenic drive away. The house was quaint, clean & welcoming with an amazing view that just pulls you out of your seat and demands that you get outside! Kayaking was amazing with bald eagles & blue herons guiding the way, and the fish were biting every line. After dark, stargazing was hypnotizing with shooting stars abound... As much as we love a campfire, we couldn't bring ourselves to light up the sky!
Very quiet, amazingly private, and did I mention the view?!?
If you want to "unplug" and detox from the usual daily grind, leave your laptop and cell phones behind because this is the place to do it!
My only complaint?- That we didn't stay longer!
Thank you so much Joyce & Dennis!!!!
My husband and I rented this cottage to be able to spend time with our children and grandkids from Tennessee who were staying in the Saratoga area. We wanted a place where we could have room to entertain with lots to keep 5 kids aged 7 to 18 busy and this was perfect!!! There was everything there to keep them busy from canoes, a paddle boat and a rowboat for fishing-even the fishing poles!!! We had such a great time, we called and asked to stay longer!! It was very clean, well furnished and the kitchen was equipped with anything you might need. How scenic and peaceful it was to be up with the loons and eagles, sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning!! I would gladly (and already have) recommended the lake house to anyone who would like to visit the area, and when the kids return next year, this will be our first choice!!
My daughter, granddaughter, and myself stayed at this home/cabin for nine or ten days in May. The furnishings and amenities were clean and plentiful; the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. During our visit there was one of those memorable lightning/thunderstorms that rolled in quickly with trees and power lines down for miles around. The power was out for over a day. The landlord called the neighboring residents immediately following the storm and had them check to make sure we were okay and didn't need anything. Having a large generator they took our frozen food and kept it for us. Such a nice vacation......my granddaughter is begging to come back to "our" cabin. We really appreciated this family opening and sharing their summer home with us. Darlene, Sacramento-CA
