Serene stay

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful home in a serene setting. The house was very clean, well equipped with appliances, and comfortable. Pride of ownership was evident. The outside spaces took good advantage of the pond views, and the covered porch was a great place when we had a rain shower. The roads were solid and drained well even after the rain. Wildlife was plentiful: ducks, fish, deer, different types of birds and, we think, an otter. We enjoyed the natural peacefulness and hope someday to return.

EVERYTHING WE WANTED TO RELAX!!

  • 5 of 5

My three sisters and I had the most wonderful, relaxing time at Broken Arrow Cabin!! We fished, played croquet, played cards, and other games inside. The house is absolutely gorgeous! The beds are so comfy as well as all the furniture. We can't wait to return next year!!

Great Place to Unwind and Relax!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay and everything was as described or even better. The boat and canoe were really fun and we enjoyed the fishing. The firewood stash was second to none and the hot tub was relaxing. The Cabin was very clean and comfortable. It felt like we were in the middle of a bird sanctuary, which was wonderful and the view was great. Tim was great to work with and checked in to make sure all was well.

We would recommend this place to anyone.

Quiet Escape

  • 5 of 5

We had what will hopefully turn out to be our first annual Women's Weekend Adventure at Tim & Angie's cabin.

Location: Secluded! Wonderfully beautiful, serene, private, quiet. We took a "hike" up the road to the abandoned house which was fun and enjoyed taking the boats out on the pond.

Cabin: Clean, organized, beautiful. Plenty of seating for eating, talking, and playing games.

Check-in/Check-out: Simple and painless!

A few things to note:

Location: Make sure you check the map provided prior to departing for the cabin. Cell service is spotty as you are approaching the location and a simple screen shot of the map and specific instructions is well worth it.

Firewood: You do NOT need to bring any! We brought extra, just in case, and laughed when we saw the amazing stock of firewood provided.

Windows: For those staying in the upstairs loft beware there are no window coverings and the sun will wake you up! We loved having all the light but if you're wanting to sleep in, bring an eye mask.

Essentials Provided: So many more than listed! Some items provided: crock-pot, blender, electric griddle, hand mixer, and more. We brought a crock-pot not thinking there would be one available.

If we had one request: The firepit doesn't match the rest of the property. It is not leveled and the fire ring is quite small and shallow. Our only wish is that this feature would be given a little more attention as sitting around the fire was our favorite part of the weekend.

Thank you, Tim & Angie!
