Imagine sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a tall glass of lemonade perched upon the front porch swing & rocking chairs of a beautiful & quaint 2 bedroom cedar cabin. Lovingly cared for and maintained, it has a 30x8 rear deck. Inside the gas logs will keep you cozy while you enjoy the 32 inch flat screen with satellite. There is an outside fire pit, so build a campfire and become a kid again while you stargaze into the heavens. Located on a hillside, this cozy cabin has everything you need for a 'getaway' vacation. Turkey and deer are abundant. Access to the White River, Jo Jo's Catfish Warf and Anglers Restaurant are just 1 mile down the hill.

The Graces love the mountains and have the cabin as a getaway from life's hassels. Andy is a retired electrical engineer and now owns and manages Red & Blue Lawn Services. Sharon is a REALTOR® and is the Owner/Broker of Grace Realty Group in Oxford, MS. As outdoor enthusiasts through high school, college and later years, they appreciate the outdoor activities that are provided in the area.
Sharon & Andy Grace purchased this cabin in 2008
Friendships and the easy going pace of life. Everybody is a friend in Mountain View, AR! Many bargains can be found while shopping in Mountain View area shops. The privacy and location of the cabin is perfect too!
The cabin and setting is very relaxing. Our favorite activities are trout fishing in the Winter, building fires in our primitive fire pit, listening for wildlife and the train whistle down below in the valley near the White River! Love the getaway! The rear deck is a good sit down and take it easy spot!
We enjoyed our stay at Gracie's Place cabin. It was clean, the perfect size, secluded but yet close to anywhere you wanted to go. We have a 6yr old boy who could have stayed for days and played outside, there is a lot of room to explore and enjoy the outdoors.
We had a fine time at Gracie's place. The cabin is nice. The beds are incredibly comfortable. It's very quiet, despite the fact that there are a couple other cabins nearby. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped. (Check the expiration dates of anything that's left there though.) We spent a lot of time sitting on the front porch, which was quite relaxing. During our stay, we visited Blanchard Springs Cavern, which is spectacular! The Springs were beautiful, and there are places to swim in the creek. It's a very cool place. We had pizza and ribs at Tommy's famous, and that was delicious. It's a little weird to us Wisconsinites to not be able to have a beer with dinner (dry county), but we survived. We picked up food from Mikey's one night, and I also recommend that. I feel like I might spend the rest of my life pining for that BBQ sauce. There were a couple minor things that prevented me from giving a five star rating. First of all, there was some confusion regarding the housekeeper, so the place was not cleaned before we arrived. Fortunately the people who stayed before us must have been very neat people, because we only noticed a couple things that indicated it hadn't been cleaned. We initially just thought she ran out of time, given that we arrived on Easter. We are pretty laid back people, so we weren't too upset. We understand that sometimes stuff like that happens. Lola (the housekeeper) came by and gave us extra toilet paper and paper towel and made sure we were ok with everything. Generally the place is well maintained, and Andy contacted us and apologized, and refunded us a night's stay for the inconvenience. We definitely appreciated it.
The road leading to the cabin is a bit scary. We didn't have any trouble getting up or down, but it's just something to be aware of.
All in all though, we were satisfied with our stay, and had a very nice time.
Gracie's Place is a well built small cabin, perfect for a family of 4. The cabin was clean and fully stocked. Everything worked and we had no issues. Several mornings I enjoyed my coffee from the back deck. One morning I saw turkeys, the next I saw deer. The cabin was a short drive to everything. We will be back!
We had a wonderful time at the cabin, easy to get to with a beautiful view. It's the kind of place that you wish you had one more day to stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at Gracie's Cabin. It is close enough to town to enjoy Beanfest, yet far enough to get away from it all. Sitting around the firepit gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy a clear sky full of stars that we can't see at home. Thank you for sharing your cabin.
Awesome place, easy to find with plenty to do close by! Roads have been nicely redone and my daughter had no trouble driving her front wheel drive Dodge Dart right up to it. Unbelievably beautiful and we will be back!
