Great time and wonderful people.

  • 5 of 5

The wife and I had a great time and could not have asked for anything more. The apartment suited our needs well. The location is a very good reason to pick this apartment. We walked through town several times a day to eat and enjoy all the other treats that Bar Harbor had to offer.

Acadia was breath taking and that time of year was very nice for our stay. We happen to meet the owners and they were just awesome. We took our very small dog and that also went well. There are comments about the shower and though the roof slopes it was fine for us. I'm 5'10".

This was one of my favorite vacations and I did not want to leave. There was so much to do and see.

Perfect Location!

  • 5 of 5

Having never been to Bar Harbor before, we were a bit uncertain as to whether we should stay downtown or in the woods somewhere, since we expected this to be a very outdoorsy trip. As a young couple (late twenties), we couldn't have ended up happier with the location of this apartment. It is a minutes walk from all of the great restaurants, shops, bars and other attractions in Bar Harbor while still being a bit tucked away on what was definitely a more quiet street in the town. It has parking so it was great to be able to walk downtown to go out to dinner without worrying about where to park your car and dealing with that stress. We could get anywhere from here in minutes! It is also right off the shore path, which was great for talking runs and walks -- such a beautiful place to get an evening run in -- breath taking views. We also enjoyed how close it was to the farmer's market. We could drive to and be at almost any location in the park in just a few minutes too (after picking up coffee and a pastry at the bakery next door).

The apartment itself is as described. It was basic, but had everything we needed and was very clean. The owners are very sweet and responded to a question we had but gave us our privacy. I thought it was sweet they even sent us a Christmas card! We made many fun memories on this trip and we really look forward to coming back sooner than later! We would definitely recommend this apartment and Bar Harbor.

In the heart of Bar Harbor

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in this apartment for one week with my husband and our 10-year-old son. This was our third (although certainly not last! :) visit to Bar Harbor. I cannot say enough great things about the apartment itself, its location, and its owners. Top-notch all around! To repeat what others have said, the apartment is extremely neat and clean and the location is perfect. It is literally steps away from downtown Bar Harbor in one direction and steps away from the Shore Path in the other. A bonus--it is connected to a little bakery which we frequented for breakfast sandwiches, pastries and bottled drinks when we were in a hurry to get going with our activities for the day. My son loved sleeping in his own "bedroom" on the pull-out sofa. The cozy kitchen has everything you would need if you choose to prepare your own meals. Plenty of towels and clean linens are thoughtfully provided. The owners were friendly and communication was always prompt and thorough. I highly recommend this little slice of Bar Harbor heaven!

We are a family of 4 (kids of 7 and 10) and our dog Isla. Choosing the right accommodation for our first trip to Bar Harbor was extremely important since we wanted a mix of true Acadia National Park experiences with the convenience to living downtown Bar Harbor; this rental was exactly what we hoped it would be. We had easy access to what we wanted to do and see but were also only a short walk away from the bars, restaurants, sights and shopping of downtown Bar Harbor.

The owners were very responsive to our questions and provided all the amenities we needed. As all the other reviews state, this was a simple, clean and functional apartment.

We were loathed to leave Bar Harbor and will certainly come back to this apartment and recommend it to our friends. Thank you from all our family.

Nice little apartment in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at this apartment twice now with our daughter (6 mos first visit and 2.5 yrs second visit) and really liked it. The apartment is neat, nicely furnished, and has all that a small family needs. The owners are very nice and the communication has been good with both trips. It is wonderful to spend the day at Acadia and come back to the convenience of Bar Harbor. If you have a small child I would recommend bringing a child gate (we did), as the stairway up to the apartment is open and quite steep. We will definitely be back in the years to come.

Great Stay at Bar Harbor!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect place for my girlfriend and I and our dog. The owner Kevin is very friendly, personable, and accommodating. Everything was very clean, and nicely updated. Very close to the village green where you can take the bus to Acadia National Park. There's also a nice path at the end of the street that leads right down to the water, perfect for a nice and quick walk with our dog. We hated to leave, would definitely rent here again!
