Che and his wonderful ranch provide a perfect relaxing place to call your weekend home. Warm and wel

My hubby and were way overdue for a Paso Robles trip. We relaxed so much and of course ate and drank our way through the country side. Che is such a kind man and has made an oasis ranch that allows dogs and horses to join you on your travels. We really enjoyed our stay and miss everyone already!

Awesome getaway!! We loved it here!!

  • 5 of 5

We had such an amazing time here!! Che was kind enough to let us cancel our original trip last minute and reschedule for two months later. My husband got in a bad motorcycle accident literally the day before we were going to make this trip back in March - our anniversary getaway, I might add. I felt so terrible for canceling, but they were so accommodating. And I am VERY grateful. My husband is still recovering and can't get around too well, so this trip was perfect for his recovery and our relaxation.

We usually come up to the central coast from SoCal 1-2 times a year, but this was our first time actually staying in Paso. It is a lot slower than San Luis Obispo or some of the other coastal towns, but that's exactly what we needed. We had only come up here to wine taste before. The town center is amazing for dining and shopping. And this ranch/farm is right in the center of some great wineries!

Probably my favorite part of this stay was getting to visit with all the amazing animals that live at this farm!! Most of them are rescues and you can just tell that they are well-loved. My crazy frenchie had a great time playing with (or teasing) some of them. There are dogs, goats, horses (and a mini horse!), llama, turkeys, chickens, peacocks...I know I must be missing something. Che encourages you to walk around his property and check out all the wildlife. Such a friendly, welcoming host. I cannot thank him and his family enough. I hope we'll get to stay here again in the near future. I didn't want to leave!

This property is great for a couple (plus their pooch) and is very clean and comfy. There's a nice fireplace, awesome dual shower, huge swimming pool, keurig machine, cable tv, cooling/heating, small fridge, microwave. Everything you need to enjoy your stay! Come here, take it all in, walk to a few wineries, and RELAX!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Relaxing dog-friendly retreat, wonderful location, gracious host!

  • 4 of 5

We spent two nights here with our dog. Che, our host, was friendly without being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed - even introduced us to the various animals on property. The guesthouse is nicely appointed, has everything you need for a weekend. Two things to be aware of - the property, like I assume many around here, has well water which (if you're not used to it) has a distinct odor. I preferred to bring in bottled water to drink. Also, the mattress was a bit too soft for my tastes. Other than those two details (which are personal preferences), a perfect weekend retreat!

What a lovely place to enjoy with your dog

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time staying in the guest house at La Campana. Che and Pat were lovely and very patient with my young 80lb dog. The ranch has a relaxed feel to it which made staying there even more enjoyable. If you love animals you will have a great time here. We loved having the peacocks behind us, they were not noisy at all. The frogs at night were fun to listen to also. Lots and lots of birds flying all over. There are the most beautiful old oak trees on the property too. Some reviews said the bed was not comfortable but it was very comfortable.

We drove into Cambria which is only 25 or so minutes away (a beautiful drive btw) and we spent a couple of casual days enjoying this amazing piece of coast. We will be back to visit again! I know our dog had a great time! Thank you so much!

Che was very nice and accommodating. The location is ideal, nestled in between many wonderful wineries and within close proximity to town. There are many animals on the property. The peacocks, although beautiful, got a tad noisy in the mornings. Their cage is on the back of the house and they would peck the windows in the kitchen in the morning. The pool and patio were beautiful and a very relaxing setting. I did find myself wishing for another blanket but I'm sure if I had asked Che would have given us more. Although not attached, the other house is in very close proximity. A local bottle of wine was provided and the decor was like a page out of Tuscany. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to others.
