Our property sits in the center of wine country where you can visit our horses and other ranch animals and take scenic country walks or bike ride to many local vinyards or a short drive to Down town, the coast or Hearst Castle. We also are pet friendly, including your horses. The guest house is warm in winter with it's fireplace and cool in summer because of the adobe walls and courtyard pool location. Cozy and private an ideal spot for the couple that wants get away.
Celebrating our 25th anniversary with our two big dogs couldn't have been nicer! Three restful nights in a very comfortable and architecturally interesting guest house makes this a great get-away but it is everything that is outside that makes this unique and worth a visit. The swimming pool is a fabulous perk - and one I enjoyed immensely. The peacocks, the llama, horses, the landscaping along with the solitude are wonderful.
Out the security gate and down the road are at least a dozen wineries (Niner will allow you to bring your dogs) and beyond - only about five miles are all the goods and services you'll need for shopping and stocking the guest house with supplies for your stay.
Enjoy a glass of wine, have a swim and if your host, Che wanders by, DO have a chat. He's a most charming and informative. We had a wonderful stay as did our dogs, Austin and Geranium - who were came home happily exhausted from their vacation. Bravo, Che - a wonderful get-away. Thanks very much.

Spent a wonderful 5 nights at this amazing ranch in wine country. Che was the best host ever! Introduced us to all the animals. A highlight was when he brought his pack of 7 or so little dogs to meet our two chihuahuas. They had a blast! The property is 46 acres of amazing! We wandered around and the views are tremendous. There are countless winery's a stones throw away and downtown is a 10 minute drive. Morro Bay, Pismo and other beach towns are a short drive too. The hacienda we stayed in was very comfortable and decorated with high end touches. DO NOT MISS this place for a GREAT relaxing country experience. If I could give 10 stars I would.
My wife, dog and I had a very nice time staying at this property. Che is as friendly a person as one would like to meet. The hacienda is very comfortable with all amenadies mentioned. A big bonus for us were all the farm animals (horses, goats, lama, chickens, cats and dogs) which we all came to love. There are also flocks of wild turkeys all around the area which are great to see. If there is a downside it was the peacocks which live right next to the hacienda. Morning, noon and night they like to scream.
I would recommend this property to a couple or family who also love animals and the country lifestyle. It is only about 10-15 minutes outside of Paso Robles and surrounded by various wineries and nice places to eat.
As usual, a warm welcome! We have returned many times and that should tell it all. The people, ranch and all the animals are the best way to escape the city. Che is a charm!
Wasnt bad...just wasn't our style. The pool was unusable, the peacocks (right outside our bedroom window) were noisy (even through the night), and the double bed was very uncomfortable. The owner was very nice & hospitable though. Not likely we would return to this property.
We stay here whenever we visit Paso Robles. The ranch is beautiful and I love hearing the sounds of nature in the evenings. The guesthouse is very homey and comfortable, and our dogs love being able to greet the pony, goats, and llama. Ché always makes us welcome and fusses over the dogs!
We'll definitely be back!
We are located three miles west of Hwy 101 on Hwy 46 West to Cambria/Hearst Castle and one mile down Oakdale Rd on a historic Spanish Hacienda. We sit in the West end of Paso Robles among some of the best vinyards and tasting rooms as well as many smaller quality family operations. Downtown Paso Robles is five miles away with all shopping within that distance. Wineries, coastal towns, horse back riding, golf courses hot air baloons, and hiking areas are all short scenic drives from our location.
