Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-8)
You and your family will love this custom built 3 bedroom log home with hot tub, fireplace, wifi, pillowtop mattreses and so much more in Packwood, WA at the base of Mt Rainier National Park(the entrance is only 7 miles away), hiking, waterfalls, rivers and lakes.
In winter come and ski White Pass Ski Resort, a short drive away. This jewel of the Northwest has 2000 vertical feet of skiing, modern lifts, great snow and some of the most stunning views of Mt Rainier you will ever see. Packwood and the cabin is at the 1000 foot level. We do get some snow at the cabin so we highly suggest a 4 wheel drive to access the cabin (and always carry chains with you as well, most skiers do!)
The panoramic views from this Mt View Cabin's greatroom, dining area, deck and hot tub are inspiring! After a day of hiking and exploring enjoy the sunset over the valley below. After dinner cook some smores in our firepit and gaze at the stars above. This cabin has been a popular spot for people all over the world as they come to explore Mt Rainier National Park and the Mt St Helens Volcano! You will love this cabin, the setting and the proximity to everything. We are only a short 1/2 mi walk to town and restaurants. Call us if you have any questions. This beautiful log home is complete luxury! It is a three bedroom, one bath cabin that sits on an acre of beautiful view property. Sit on the covered porch or in the 30 jet hot tub and view the Cowlitz River Valley, the town of Packwood, Cascade peaks on all three sides and witness the incredible sunsets over the western peaks. Packwood is known for its herds of elk that roam the area and it is not uncommon to see a herd pass by the cabin on any given morning or evening.
Many come and do not want to leave the comfort and relaxing atmosphere of the cabin. Others venture out into the Mount Rainier National Forest, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, White Pass Ski Resort, Mount St. Helens, the Cowlitz River, Snowmobiling, four-wheeling, horseback riding, rafting, the snow parks and recreation areas, and the many concerts and cultural events of east Lewis County.
'This cozy cabin with stunning views and a great woodstove is #1 in our book. We just spent 4 lovely relaxing days this Thanksgiving and we can't wait to come back. Stay here and be mesmerized by the views and wonderful amenities!'

About Bob Trombi
We built this first getaway a few years back because we knew that if we were to stay sane in such a busy world that we would need to have a place to go to and bring the kids to just get away from it all. We hope you enjoy this incredible spot!
Bob Trombi purchased this Cabin in 2005
Why Bob Trombi chose Packwood
We personally designed and built this cabin in Packwood, one of the most beautiful areas of the country. In summer the beauty of the mountain is indescribable and in winter the skiing at White Pass is great for a family or an expert. We have been coming to the area for 15 years and we love it more and more everytime we visit.
What makes this Cabin unique
Just the other day 3 cow elk came by with 4 babies, a bald eagle flew by, a fox trotted up the road, the sunset was amazing and there were more stars in the sky than I have ever seen before...and this is all in one day!

Peaceful, beautiful, stunning .....
Such a peaceful place to stay and be with nature. We had some rainy weather the first couple of days we were at the Cabin but there could not have been a better place to be indoors/sitting on the covered porch. We thoroughly enjoyed the view, the elk who visited the yard, the birds flitting all around the area and the quaint little town of Packwood. Close enough to town to be convenient but far enough to be "away from it all." Very near to the entrance of Mt Rainier national park, which was our ultimate reason for staying in the area. All of the necessary amenities were available and then some. We definitely plan to come back so we can stay longer next time!
We would love to have you back, thanks for loving this place like we do! Bob and Sybille
Fun Relaxing Trip
We had a wonderful time visiting Packwood for the first time. There was one beautiful day in which we were able to explore the town for our son to play. The home itself was clean and fully stocked of everything one would need for the trip.
We were able to see a lot of elk in the area, unfortunately that means there is a lot of elk pop everywhere as well.
If wanting to go to Mt. Rainier, after May is better, then hopefully Highway 123 will be open.
Everything was clean, & pleasant. Everything we needed was available to us. Thank You for a worry free weekend away.
Had a wonderful time!
This cabin was just right for our group/family of 6. We enjoyed the beautiful view, the warm wood stove, the hot tub, and the comfortable furnishings. It's close to town, but not too close.
Someone else commented on the hot tub being exposed to neighbors... maybe a little, but we didn't feel that way; we enjoyed the beautiful view from the hot tub! The cabin isn't huge, but very nicely laid out, and very comfortable. We would stay there again if we go that direction!
Awesome cozy cabin and great location!
We had such a great weekend at the cabin! It was really clean and cozy and in a perfect location. I loved how close to town it was you could walk to everything if you wanted to. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of snowboarding. I would highly recommend it and definitely stay there again!
The cabin was very quiet and relaxing, great hot tub.
