The location is excellent to get around the Valley. 4 blocks from the Light rail, which goes to downtown Phoenix, Convention center and many other fun things, Light rail also goes to downtown Tempe, and Mesa. I have only done it once but was a really fun time. The condo complex is quiet, gated and well kept, not fancy but nice. Has small fitness room, laundry room, pool table, and picnic area. It is right by the pool, which is awesome.POOL IS NOT HEATED sorry. Condo all on one level on the first floor
This my second home, I am not able to come down a lot so rent it out some too .A couple of the negatives FOR ME about the condo, which may or may not bother anyone else, the condo is on the shady side, so living room, dining room and kitchen, so feels dark to me. I immediately open blinds and turn on lights, my other house in Prescott has windows all over the place. This condo has only has 3 windows total. 2 windows bedrooms, nice and bright and light,. Only has one sliding door. Living room,and outdoors a lotvof big trees which makes living room, dining and kitchen a little dark, but has plenty of lights to turn on . I immediately open blindss. The other thing is the back patio is small like 5X7 but does have pub table with 2 chairs. Pool is very close, with chairs and loungers. I always want people to like it, so will give negatives as well.
The positives are it is really cute and comfy, has comfy lounger, couch and recliner and 42 in flat screen in living room. 2 good sized bedrooms 32 inch flat screen in master and small tv in other bedroom. Updated with granite, newer kitchen and condo is one of the best locations in complex, easy to find and close to all amenities of complex. Washer dryer in the unit.
Pets are ok but complex rules will only allow uo to 25 lbs.

I have 3 other vacaion rentals: a 3 bedroom about 5 blocks from here with a private pool, Homeaway listing no:224448 , a condo in downtown Scottsdale and a 3 bedroom in sun city.

We had a good time in Phoenix We used the exercise room most days that was very close to the apartment We were quite comfortable, in the living room I especially enjoyed having a recliner that we usually don't find in a rental
This downstairs condo was perfect for us and in a very convenient location - close to downtown, the fairgrounds, and the airport. We felt very safe in the "Melrose" area and there were lots of really cute shops and restaurants. The condo was very clean and comfortable, and the owner Barb was very responsive and pleasant to work with. Easy to find (although be aware some GPS apps will take you to the exit side of the gated complex) and well stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. We will for sure stay there again when we come to Phoenix next year!
Very nice condo located in central Phoenix. Short walk to the Phoenix Metro (light rail) that going west takes you to a nice shopping area (Target, etc.) and going east takes you to Midtown, Downtown, Chase Field, US Airways Center, Sky Harbor, ASU, Tempe, and Mesa. Lots of good casual restaurants within walking distance and even more both casual and upscale restaurants right along the Metro light rail line. If you plan to use the Metro and bus system a lot, you would be best to buy a weekly or monthly pass which is available from the machines at the light rail stations. Short walk to major grocery store. Also close to bus route on Camelback Road which takes you to Scottsdale and Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and lots of shopping and restaurants. Gated community with covered parking place near unit. Nice pool, but not heated so we didn't use. If you have a pet, there is a vet just down the street. Nice owner-easy to work with.
The condo is in a great central location. There are many restaurants close by, as well as a major grocery store and other shopping. The condo community is quiet and well maintained. The condo itself is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner is very accommodating and clearly wants to make your stay as good as she can make it. Probably the best thing I can say is that we already have made plans to return next year.
This is a great apartment with plenty of space and everything you need to make you feel at home. We we're only here for a few days but everything was great. The pool is small but nice (even in November), there is plenty of room in the lounge and the kitchen is well sorted with a big fridge and all pans and things that you might need.
The location is good. You still have to drive to most places but that seems to be the way in Phoenix in general. There is a great BBQ joint within walking distance (circle BBQ?) and a really good dive bar a few blocks away called Char's has the blues which was a great night out!
We had a great time staying in this wonderful condo. It is close to everything with lots to do. We were able to walk or catch the light rail for most things we did. We went to Tempe for the Hawaiian Festival on the light rail. Relaxing by the pool was very nice and there was some very nice places to eat all within walking distance. We especially enjoyed the BBQ place a couple blocks away. A large grocery store is close by for buying food and making your own meals in the well stocked kitchen. Everything was as described in the listing and the place was quiet, very clean and well maintained. This is someplace we would recommend to anyone. We plan to stay here again at some time in the future.

This is a nice GATED complex lots of trees, nice pool with waterfall, condo location in great complex, right by pool and bar pool, fitness center, small, laundry room. meeting room, bbq grill, a little farther away in complex is pool table room, picnic area with another bbq grill. First floor condo, Right off parking lot, quiet complex, don't see that many people around. There is an applebees within few blocks, 1.5 miles to big mall that has movie complex, Walmart, Target, Pennys, Coscto, Ross, Big 5, shoe stores, restraunts, and lots of stuff. A bunch of Antique shops right by complex. There is a Frys about 3 blocks. Lots of little bars up camelback Rd, main road, 4 blocks from complex. Cross streets are Camelback and 7th avenue. Zip code is 85013 phoenix. This is not a fancy neighbood but well maintained. Chase ball field and Convention Center are between 5 and 6 miles. This is a very centrally located location.
