Why Deborah MacFarlane chose Southwestern Colorado

We love Telluride and have been traveling there yearly since 1991. It is simply one of the most beautiful places in the United States and every time I visit - the views take my breath away. But more than the scenic beauty is the people and vibe of the town. This is truly a unique and happy place where life is enjoyed daily. You will love it.

This small town is simply amazing. The views of the mountains are second to none and you get a great view of the slopes from the condo balcony.

The condo is positioned on the far side of town and within walking distance of the downtown area as well as Town Park for the concerts. I would say this condo was a little less than a mile walk to Town Park which added up over the long weekend. This condo is also right next to ski lifts, so I can see this being an excellent condo for ski season.

The condo had good space for the three people we had staying there and probably could have accommodated 1-2 more people comfortably. One drawback was the lack of A/C or any fans when it got real hot during the middle of the day. While we weren't there often during the day, that would have been a huge plus when we were as it got very hot. Another thing to note was that a couple of the windows wouldn't open so it was difficult to get a breeze through the place.

Aside from that, this place exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of cookware and utensils to use, a fridge/ice maker that worked, parking included right next to the condo, good furniture/bed, etc. We loved the place and aside from some of the very minor improvements I listed above, this place was great!

We will definitely be renting this or a similar condo again in the future when we head back to Telluride! Thanks for the hospitality!

Yet another return visit for me!

  • 5 of 5

Telluride is one of the most beautiful towns in America, and this condo is so clean, comfortable and convenient to the "action". Hop on lift 7 for the best skiing you will find, take the very short stroll to town to shop and enjoy really excellent cuisine as well as casual dining. It's just so darn convenient....I love this condo and this town!

Sunny Stay for a Rainy Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Despite the rainy weather, we had a great stay in Telluride! The condo was very clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance of the Blues & Brews Festival as well as the venues for the Juke Joints (We're hikers so we didn't use the bus, although the stop was right across the street). We had lots of room in the condo and did quite a bit of cooking. The photos of the condo were spot on. Having a dedicated parking spot was also a great convenience. The Festival draws us each year, but this is the first year we've stayed in Telluride and it was a great experience - we would love to stay here next year. Thanks for your hospitality!

Great Location and everything you need.

  • 3 of 5

Overall this property is fantastic for two people. We were two plus a baby and it worked out perfectly. The condo is very well stocked in regards to kitchen items however a few of the essentials were missing such as toilet paper (only had enough for one day and had to run out to buy some) as well as shampoo. I did write the owner to notify her of this and although I did not receive a response, I'm sure this will get taken care of for future guests.

Owner's Response: We do have a daily housekeeping option at extra $$ that ensure all supplies are current but most folks don't want this. Also we have tried in the past to leave shampoo and condition out but had complaints that this meant the condo "wasn't clean." You can't please everyone I guess. Its a beautiful condo in a great location - hopefully having to replace a role of toilette paper will not dissuade others from enjoying it. Guest need to remember this is my home that you are renting - its not a hotel. There are some great hotel options in town for those looking for a different sort of experience.

The best holiday a skier or mountain lover could ask for

  • 5 of 5

This condo is in the PERFECT location for the group that wants easy access to the lifts, gondola, and best restaurants in town. Just blocks from the main drag, it gives peaceful respite in a beautiful and convenient setting. The condo was vey clean and comfortable. Also well equipped! Just loved it when I could pull my skis out of the storage closet by the covered parking space and stroll to lift 7 to shoot right up the mountain. So much fun! I will be back next spring and I'd love to go back in the summer. Eat at THERE. It is delicious and inventive.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay although weather was not great. Condo was as described our only complaints were the cooking utensils were very old and aluminium. A set of new pots and pans would be a welcome addition. Also the upstairs condo had very noisy tenants who kept jumping on the floor (our ceiling) until I had to go up and complain.Situation for Lift 7 and the town shuttle is excellent. Telluride is a lovely place.

Owner's Response: Peter - so glad you and your son enjoyed Telluride. I visited just after you and did bring a new set of pots and pans - sorry they were not as yet there for your stay. We do have a quiet policy for the building so any guest can notify me of disturbances and I will contact the owners of the unit to resolve the problem. Sometimes ski vacationers can get a little rambunctious from time to time; hope this did not disturb your stay. Look forward to having you again in Telluride.
