While you are away from it all, you can also take time to be pampered in the luxurious resort amenities. Take in the breathtaking mountain views in the seasonally available resort pool and hot tub. In your own private cabin, for family fun, enjoy the log billiard table, air hockey or Foosball. Read a book, put together a puzzle or play a board game all available for your use in the cabin. Relax by the fireplace or watch the 55 inch LED TV with DVD player on the main level. Or retreat to the media room and enjoy the 60 inch LED TV, 160 channels, and blue ray player. Bring your computer and stay connected on the free wireless internet. There is a spacious open floor plan that enables you to fully take in the beautiful mountain views. There is an adjacent bar that seats 3, overlooking the gourmet kitchen outfitted with stainless style appliances, a spice rack, and all the pots, pans, tableware, etc., that you need to prepare for a dinner to enjoy in your own cabin. The main floor also has a bedroom with a king-sized bed, TV, and a full-sized bathroom. On the lower level is a private master suite. The bedroom has a king-sized bed with attached full bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub for relaxing. The bath towels and bed linens used throughout the cabin are luxurious! Outside the bedroom is a sitting area with TV which opens onto the beautiful deck and hot tub, offering more spectacular views of the Tennessee Mountains. Enjoy a meal on the deck at your table, listen to the birds or relax in your rocking chair with a cup of coffee. The tri-cities of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg have some of the best restaurants, theaters, and entertainment in the state. Visit Dollywood, the Aquarium, as well as Cades Cove. Mystic Sunrise at the Preserve Resort is closer to Cades Cove than any Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg resort in Tennessee. Cades Cove provides an opportunity to see wildlife while touring some of the original cabins built by pioneers. Hiking, biking, white water rafting, fishing and horseback riding in the Smoky Mountains are all close by. Our cabin is just 6 miles from the entrance to the Smoky Mount National Park! The Great Smoky Mountain National Park officials, the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce and the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism have information on activities for your family. For the shopper that’s looking for great bargains Sevierville and Pigeon Forge have several outlet malls just a short drive of 20 minutes away. As well, Gatlinburg is a great place to see arts and crafts from artists. Best of all, after a day full of activity, kick back and relax in your own hot tub while enjoying the beauty of the Tennessee Mountains.

The perfect spot!

  • 5 of 5

Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The view when you open the door will take your breath away. We wanted a nice spot to chill and enjoy family for a few days and this was perfect. The cabin is very nicely appointed with everything you could want and more. My husband read a gripping novel and we played board games (HUGE selection) with the grandkids. Daily trips to the pool were a real treat and the hot tub made the perfect end to the day. This cabin is close to everything but far enough away to be relaxing. You can't see another cabin from the huge windows which made it very nice. The cabin was nice and clean and very well stocked with quality cookware and spices. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin with us!

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

  • 5 of 5

This house exceeded all expectations! The moment we walked in the door our breaths were taken away. The views are out of this world.

Aside from the views, location was great between both, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. By the way, Gatlinburg is a much better place to go as far as waking around and shopping. Some reviews here state that the trip up the mountain to the rental was too much as far as making a trip more than once. We drove up and down a few times a day. I suppose nighttime would be a different situation, but we left to go down more than once a day every day.

The house itself was GORGEOUS and SPOTLESS. It even smelled clean and had all we needed and more. Plenty of room for my family of four, and the kids loved the air Hickey, pool and foosball table. Just perfect! Pool is a short drive. We loved it and went each day of the trip! Gorgeous views from there as well.

Karen was quick to respond and was very sweet. I truly can't say enough about this place. I only wish we would've seen a bear! We will be back!

Amazing views plus space!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was everything we thought it would be and more! The kids loved the table games and board games provided. The pool was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. The driving was perfect to get to the park and Pigeon Forge. A little farther drive to Gatlinburg. We will definitely be back!

Almost Heaven

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is centrally located. My husband and I visited Seiverville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlingburg. We were only 6 miles from the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. The cabin is nicely appointed and extremely comfortable. The view from the large windows on the main floor are awe inspiring. Equally nice was being able to enjoy the scenery from the hot tub on the back porch. Having coffee in the rockers in the morning was awesome. We also took advantage of the community spaces: the pool, sauna, and excercise room. Karen, the owner is very nice and easy to work with. Staying in the cabin was so much better than a hotel. We had some great meals out, but it was really nice being able to have some meals at the cabin. With a full size kitchen with everything we needed, including a stocked spice rack made it super easy. I would highly recommend Mystic Sunrise to other travelers.

Relaxing and Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

This was a last minute decision to stay in a cabin this week - as in we decided on Saturday and checked in on Sunday. Karen was a joy to work with. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and the view when you walk in is breathtaking. We extended our stay a few extra days and again, Karen was very accommodating and walked us through the whole process. Mystic Sunrise is relaxing, quiet, peaceful, and we felt very fortunate to have stumbled on such a gem. We will definitely be back!

A great first trip to Tennessee!

  • 4 of 5

This was my husband and my first time in Tennessee. We stayed Sunday-Saturday in mid-April and the weather was nice; mid-60's to 70's. Things were just staring to bloom and the entire area is beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. On the day we arrived, we had planned on unpacking and then going into Pigeon Forge for dinner. Well, just be aware that the drive up to the cabin from the 'main road' is quite long, steep and curvy. Once we got to the cabin, we didn't feel like leaving or going back down/up! There is only one restaurant for pizza delivery, Gepetto’s in Wears Valley (found their brochures in the cabin)-- pizza was okay and it did the job for the night. My advice would be to eat before getting to the cabin or make sure you had dinner items with you. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed...we picked up of the missing necessities at the Kroger and Walmart in P.F. Although it was just my husband and I, we enjoyed playing the air hockey and pool and used the hot tub once; it was a very nice place to relax and get away from 'real life.' From the cabin it is quite a long, windy trip to Pigeon Forge (15 minutes) and Gatlinburg (25 minutes), so just be prepared. It is not really feasible to leave the cabin, go into town, come back to wash up and leave again, as that would just be too much. We enjoyed both P.F. and Gatlinburg...more 'touristy' than what we were expecting, though. When leaving the cabin there were many things to do close by; we hiked the Smoky Mountains, hung out in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and took a drive into Sevierville. Some nice antique shops as well. Our favorite places to eat during our vacation were both in the Old Mill Square in Pigeon Forge; The Old Mill Restaurant and the Old Mill Pottery House Café & Grill was even better. We loved the entire Old Mill Square and the old Forge Distillery was great, too.

During our stay, we were lucky enough to see six bears. One night after dinner, we arrived back to the cabin and a good-sized bear was getting into the garbage bins in a cabin across the way. We saw the others in Cade's Cove and driving through the Smoky Mountains.

Overall, it was a great vacation and the cabin was nice. Some minor things could have been improved upon, although nothing major enough to deter us from staying again. The booking of the cabin and response time from Karen was very good and no complaints there.
