First trio to Aruba did alot of research and with the great reviews didn’t disappoint !
Studio as shown on website! Maria was there to greet us and answer any of our questions location was great ! First time in Aruba and hopefully when we come back we hope to stay there again! Loved place very clean and felt like our little resort! Thank you Maria and Peter for a wonderful stay!
Great place - clean, close to Palm Beach, and nice shared bbq/pool
We stayed here in July 2019. Overall, had a great time at this property. It was clean, had the basic necessities, nice bathroom, basic and working kitchen, and about a 2-3minute drive to Palm Beach. Generally, it was a great location if you have a car (about 10min walk to Palm Beach). There was a nice pool and bbq - we intended on barbequing but never did. Some other guests seemed to spend their time at the bbq/pool on the property instead of at the beaches during the day and to be honest, we couldn't blame them - it was beautiful.
For your FYI, here are some tips if you decide to stay at this location:
- Bring your own shampoo/conditioner/soap as they do not provide. They provide dish soap/handsoap for bathroom.
- I would rent a car because it allows you to explore the island (our favourite beach, Arashi, was only about 5 min drive away). However, you could certainly walk to Palm Beach if that's the only beach you intend on going to (beautiful but touristy).
- They have a cooler/icepack/two or three tupperware containers. There is enough kitchen supplies for you to cook basic meals (pots, a pan, and knives/cultery).
- Bring your own water bottles as the tapwater in Aruba is super awesome and you can take your own water bottles everywhere
- They have beach chairs
- They have a Conair hairdryer
- They provide 2 sets of towels (one for bath one for beach). We brought some more beach towels, which made it a bit easier if one set wasn't dry in time. They changed the towels after 2 or 3 days, which was great!
- The cable TV is a bit grainy. We brought our AppleTV and hooked it up to the TV in the room, which made for great evenings in to relax! The TV has an HDMI input and was not grainy at all.
Overall, had a great time and would stay here again. Thanks, Maria!
The studio is very clean and has everything you would need for a stay. Owner is on site and very patient, friendly, and helpful. Very close to Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, and the local mall that has a large movie theater. Weather was beautiful every day. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The room was more than perfect! Clean and friendly owners. They provide you with beach beach chairs, beach towels, and a mini cooler which was great! The pool and outside area of the Villas was lovely. Nice place to come back from a day out and enjoy a nice cold Chill beer by the pool. Be sure to take advantage of the beautiful sunsets. Best place to watch from is Malmok Beach. Maria set us up with Adrubiana and we rented UTV for the day which was a great time. Provided you with a chance to explore all parts of the island. There was not one meal we had that disappointed. We ate at Pika’s Corner, Casa Tua, Whacky Wahoo (reservations), Barefoot (reservations), Chop House, and The Dutch Pancake House. Super Foods is the best place to do your groceries. Renting a car is you best bet as the island isn’t very big and it lets you explore freely.
Amazing location and price!
We were SO happy to find this place. It's the cutest little studio, perfect for 2 people. The pool is right outside your door with plenty of sun and shade for when you need a break from the beach. Peter will give you all the inside information on where the best beaches with minimal (Arashi beach) or NO (Boca Catalina) crowds and much, much more. I would recommend a car. Although you COULD walk...I wouldn't want to lug stuff to a beach and the closest one is at the Marriott or the Ritz and then you are with lots of people. Plus, the studio has a full fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker so it's great to have a car to get to the grocery store (2 mins away by car) and not eat out every meal if you are trying to save a little cash. AC and wifi worked great, bed was comfy, and water pressure in shower was spot on....we'll definitely stay here again when we come back to Aruba!
I’m so glad I booked this place! Loved the location and everything the property had to offer!!
This was my first time booking a VRBO and also first time in Aruba so I was a little nervous. But from the minute we arrived, to the second we left, our hosts (Peter and Maria) were so incredible at helping us settle in and very informative of everything Aruba has to offer! They were both so sweet and just amazing people. Everyone else that was staying at the property were returning guests who only had great things to say about the island and their experience with the place! The room was very clean and comfortable, WiFi was fast, conditioning worked great, the pool was clean and nice to cool down in..seriously everything was great! We used the kitchenette a lot too, it saved us money making our own breakfast. I loved the location of the place because the most beautiful beaches were only 5 min away. The first couple of days we tried walking on foot, but the heat really gets ya. Also waiting for buses is a waste of time, and taxis are pretty expensive. So just take Mariyas advice and rent a car! It’ll make exploring Aruba so much easier. Some of our best experiences were: snorkeling, deep sea fishing, visiting the flamingos at renaissance private island, the night life, amazing food at great restaurants, and riding atvs along the coast of Aruba! Our trip was filled with adventure thanks to Peter and Mariya for the pointers and advice :)..but the highlight of this trip was meeting amazing people to share stories and laugh with! We came as strangers and left as good friends. That’s something I’m very grateful for. Definitely coming back next year!
