A large family room has windows on three sides with tranquil views of mountains (Lions Head Peak) Aspens and Pine trees. Warm yourself by the wood fire (One is pre-made for your arrival. Just light the paper when you arrive) and sit back with your friends & family to relax. Vaulted ceilings & landscape windows overlook the West Yellowstone Valley & the Continental Divide - the Backbone of the Rocky Mountains (see photos of actual view below). There is a great feeling of openness both inside and outside. Two bedrooms & a full baths are on the ground floor with a master bedroom and master bath on the second floor. (floor plans are below in photos). A 'hunter's cabin' is just across the yard for anyone wanting that extra bit of privacy.

This distinctive vacation home is located just 7 miles west of West Yellowstone MT - the gateway to Yellowstone National Park.

To go on about how unbelievably beautiful Yellowstone is would be redundant. You wouldn't be looking here if you didn't already know, but suffice to say, no matter what you want in terms of the out-of-doors, wilderness, tranquility and complete spiritual recharge - it is here. Fishing, hiking (walking) through the woods, or just sitting on the deck...

The house is newly renovated and looking absolutely beautiful.

'I am in love with Montana. For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection, but with Montana it is love... It seems to me that Montana is a great splash of grandeur. The scale is huge but not overpowering. The land is rich with grass and color, and the mountains are the kind I would create if mountains were ever put on my agenda. It seems to me that the frantic bustle of America was not in Montana.'

Had a good time..

  • 3 of 5

Good mountain view from the living room. House was neat and big enough for 8 people max. 10 to 15 mins drive to West Gate. Outside barbeque was well arranged. It's not so green as shown in the picture. Internet was not working, raised a complaint but no response. Had a tough time reaching out to the owner or manager, please response to the call or msg. Overall had a great time in Yellowstone.

Wonderful base for experiencing Yellowstone.!

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay in Moose Tracks. Comfortable, well equipped house, very convenient to West Yellowstone entrance. Two minor suggestions for improvements: better firewood supply and more than the most basic cable TV (no ESPN!?). Otherwise, highly recommended spot for enjoying Yellowstone.

Very Clean and as described.

  • 4 of 5

Great location that is close to Yellowstone. House was very comfortable and clean for our party of 7! The only down side was there was no split wood and no way to split the whole logs that were at the house.

Beautiful Getaway Home

  • 5 of 5

The location outside of West Yellowstone allows the beauty of the forest surroundings and still close to town.

A beautiful home with that homey feel and warmth. We enjoyed ourselves very much here and would hope to return again soon.

The children saw a fox out the back sliding glass door. How natural is that!! The home is clean and cozy with room outside to wander around.

I would recommend this property for its serenity and beauty.

Our Stay In W. Yellowstone

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay here! It was a week-long family reunion, and we enjoyed it immensely. The house and cottage were wonderful, as is the yard. There was plenty of room, and wonderful scenery. We would definitely stay there again another time. The rest of our family that stayed elsewhere were all jealous of us! They said they'd rent it as well!
