By the sandy shores of Suttons Bay, by the clear blue water, vacation home on its own 100 feet of private sandy beach. From balconies, porches and screened-in decks, and through the french doors, you will watch the gentle waves of Suttons Bay as you dine, relax and play. There is a dock for your boat and toys for your children. A stroller with 2 seats is available upon request.

A special gift for all who come here will be the gorgeous Leelanau sunsets as well as the stunning views of the Bay. Inside this newly renovated beach house are fine maple floors, wicker furniture and a host of amenities that will enhance your upscale vacation. Cozy is the word mes to mind with the gas fireplace and patterned quilts in all the bedrooms.

The 5 bedrooms and 3 baths offer ample accommodations for extended families or groups of friends. Game Room with Air Hockey, Foosball and Pool table to keep ALL ages entertained.

There is also wheelchair accessibility should a guest require it. Your cooking members will have a fully appointed kitchen with its own bay view window. A chef in the family can use the outside gas grill next to a screened-in deck . All the while, the servers and diners as well will be enjoying the palette of colors as the sun sets across the bay. Later in the evening, your whole group can gather around the firepit for camaraderie and s'mores in the moonlight.

This upscale home beckons to beachcombers of all ages. The area is exquisite in the foliage season as well. Our wineries welcome tasters, and the mid-summer cherry harvest produces both sweet and tart treats beyond belief. There are many fine restaurants and caterers in the area, and an excursion not to be missed are visits to the nearby weekly farmers' markets for fresh local produce and farm baked goods. The eggplant is plump and purple, the apples crisp. On the sweeter side are succulent peaches, strawberries and apricots as well as our local honey and it is all waiting to highlight your dining experience at home.

So hasten hither for your vacation to Leelanau County, 'The Land of Delight'.

Fantastic House in a Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved the house - mid century modern and cool (although the quilts and baskets throughout don't exactly mesh well imo:)). The layout is fantastic and the views are stunning. The owner greeted us upon arrival and was generally available during our stay if we needed him. The beachfront isn't sandy, but the water is shallow and perfectly clear. The location is perfect - so close to Suttons village but away from the traffic and noise of M22. Would definitely stay here again!

Suttons Bay in October

  • 4 of 5

The location to Suttons Bay is great. The house is a tri-level; the layout gives everyone room to move around. There are 5 bedrooms and plenty of beds and air mattresses. The bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is big enough for several people to work in; the dining table easily seats 12. The living room is in the front of the house and has 2 wicker rockers and a 2-person wicker seat -- not really relaxing. To the owners: I would move the dining table to the front of the house (under the chandelier) and put living room furniture (sectionals) in the area adjoining the kitchen so that everyone can be seated comfortably and see the lake view and visit with people in the kitchen. There is a gas fireplace and it can really put out the heat. The beach is rocky so I'm not sure what swimming would be like in the summer. House needs updating -- paint/décor and showers. There are way too many baskets & "stuff" on the top of the cupboards and everywhere with a mixture of old-fashioned quilts (not my personal taste), old traditional paintings and just a bit of lake décor. The decks are very good for viewing the lake and the fall colors. There were instructions taped everywhere which was a bit annoying - did the owners have had a bad experience with a renter? The property met the needs of the 12 of us.
