This fully refurbished, well appointed, first floor apartment is set in the beautiful gardens of La Gardenia.

The La Gardenia complex has extensive well maintained gardens with stunning views overlooking the picturesque harbor of Mahon. An ideal location to relax in the sun watching the yachts cruise by and dream. For fun there is a large pool in the center of the complex to be enjoyed by children of all ages!

The apartment has three bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 6 with one double bedroom and 2 twin rooms. There is a dining area which seats 6 and a lounge with a large corner sofa, wood burning stove, smart TV , DVD and CD player.

There are 2 balconies, one overlooks the pool area, the other overlooks the rear garden & the villas of the quiet Sol Del Este residential area. There is a modern well equipped kitchen with washing machine, fridge and microwave.

The apartment and gardens offer all you require for a happy, safe, self catering holiday.

We had a fabulous holiday at La Gardenia. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and well equipped, and the

scenery was just breathtaking. We enjoyed visiting the local bars and restaurants, and walking into Mahon, this area is well worth a visit.

Beautiful Apartment

This was our third time staying at La Gardenia and once again we had a lovely relaxing holiday. The apartment was again exceptionally clean & the surrounding gardens well maintained. The owner Jan was again extremely helpful & very quick to respond to any questions. Hope to be back again soon.

Lovely Apartment in La Gardenia

We have stayed in La Gardenia for the past eight years and this apartment is one of the best ones we have stayed in. The apartment was exceptionally clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. There are lots of good restaurants in Cala's Fonts but our favourite restaurant this year was Pedro's in Cala Torret. The food here is lovely and isn't expensive either. We always hire a car to explore the island but this year my husband hired a road bike from Bike Mahon which is a great way to see all the things you can't get to by car. On the whole once again we had a fantastic holiday and no doubt will be returning again next year!

We have holidayed at Sol del Este for 26 years. The La Gardenia complex and this apartment is second to none. A truly home from home apartment beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Jan and her staff at the apartment deserve praise indeed for their attentive customer service. The local bar/cafe was up to its usual high standard for

good basic meals. A short walk to Calla Fonts provides a large selection of restaurants and menus. A thoroughly enjoyable RELAXING holiday highly recommended. Already looking forward to next years holiday at La Gardenia.

Excellent location beautiful apartment

A wonderful place to spend a very relaxing holiday . Everything anyone could wish for very clean and well maintained apt and complex. Excellent service from owners And managers. As always cafe sol del este provides great simple food on doorstep and only ten min stroll to calas fonts or ten min taxi to Mao.

Bar camacho in es castell for great tapas A visit to the trotting races in Mao/St luis good fun. Perhaps a spare key for guests sharing accomodation would have proved helpful if friends choose to go out and return at different times in the evening. Hope to return soon. Not to be missed!,

Great apartment, Fantastic location.

This property is in a great location - a quiet friendly neighbourhood within easy reach of CalesFonts and with a small supermarket and Cafeteria close by. The apartment itself is well appointed with literally dozens of plates, cups, glasses and cooking utensils. There were plenty of essentials in the cupboard such as olive oil, some herbs and spices, teabags and salt and pepper which meant not having to run out immediately to buy these things. What we bought and had left over at the end of the week, we added to the stash to keep it going.

There were 2 of us in the apartment and we had plenty of space...with 3 bedrooms, though, the apartment will sleep 6, albeit with a bit of a squeeze.

The surrounding gardens are very well kept and there is a sense of camaraderie around the complex.

2 small things that didn't suit us personally were the lack of space on the balconies which meant that you couldn't eat breakfast out there and, being used to a very large bed at home, we found the bed a bit small, limited by the size of the bedroom of course.

We would recommend this apartment highly as a home from home and a base for a great stay in Menorca.

The La Gardenia apartments are located in the quiet Sol Del Este residential area. There is a small shop & 2 bars both serving food within 3 mins walk.

There is a small beach with wooden jetty minutes away where you swim and search rockpools.

The historic town of Es Castell & the picturesque harbor of Cala Fonts is a leisurely 10 min walk where you will find many bars & restaurants to suit all tastes & budgets. There are many quiet bars on the harbor to enjoy a leisurely drink and good food, one of our favorites is Bar Sa Cala, its open all day serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is always a friendly reception and the excellent food, reasonable prices and fantastic view make it a must to visit. Es Castell also has all the supermarkets, shops, banks etc, you would expect in a small town.

From Cala Fonts you can take a boat trip around the harbor.

From La Gardenia you can enjoy walks along the harbors edge & through the country lanes to St Esteve & Fort Marlborough. You can also swim off the rocks using the purpose built ladder, it is also an excellent location for fishing.

Mahon is a 10 min taxi ride and there is regular bus service from Es Castell. With a car you can easily enjoy all Menorca has to offer, beautiful beaches, historic towns, golf.

If you arrive before 2pm and the apartment isn't ready you can generally leave your cases in the apartment until its cleaned. Guests are requested not to do this if arrival is before 10am as previous guests may not have left.

20% deposit required at time of booking. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Entry to the apartment is available after 2pm on the day of arrival. Guests are asked to depart by 10am on day of departure.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
