8 college friends rented this property and had a wonderful time. The house is well-suited for a group of women with 3 bathrooms. And the view is spectacular at all hours of the day. Perry is a great host and quick to help with any questions. We did lots of sightseeing in Maine, Massachusetts and coastal New Hampshire. House is very well situated to the highways and yet very quiet and private.
I rented this property in June 2016 for a guys golf getaway. The house is huge and has everything you need. You only need to pack clothes and toiletries. There was a gas grill on the deck and a hot tub downstairs. The house is within 15 minutes of two golf courses and Portsmouth. I will definitely be back.
My friends and I rented this house for a girls weekend. We had a great time. The back deck is perfect for sitting out in the sun and looking at the water. The house has lots of space and the hot tub is a great feature. The house is close enough to downtown Portsmouth to take a cab but far enough away for peace and quiet.
We rented this home in November 2015 for a family Thanksgiving retreat. We could not have picked a better home. The house as a very nice balance of providing all the modern conveniences we all "need" (like Internet, Cable TV, full kitchen appliances, gas grill, etc) yet it has a very "cabin on the lake" feel to it. That provided for a very relaxing environment. Perry told us "just bring your luggage and food" and he sure was right. The house is set up with all the odds and ends you might need. Perry was also very helpful if needed yet he left us to ourselves allowing us full privacy. One other note is that we had age range up to 82 years old and the house was perfect for associated needs of the elderly. I have rented many VRBO homes and know good from bad and this house is great if you are looking for relaxing peace on a beautiful lake.
WE RENTED THIS HOME FOR OUR SUMMER VACATION. THIS HOME EXCEEDED EVERY EXPECTATION I COULD HAVE IMAGINED. WHEN IT SAYS BRING YOUR CLOTHES AND FOOD IT IS JUST THAT! EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT IS IN THIS HOUSE DOWN TO THE SHAMPOO. THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING! THE YARD WAS PERFECT WITH ALL KINDS OF UNUSUAL TREES. THERE WAS A CHAIR TO SIT IN EVERYWHERE TO SIT AND LOOK AT THE SUNSET AND FEEL THE BREEZES FROM THE BAY. PERRY WAS THE PERFECT HOST. ALWAYS AVAILABLE AND EVEN TOOK US FOR A BOAT RIDE AND SHOWED US A BALD EAGLE! THE HOT TUB WAS PERFECTLY CLEAN AN WE USED IT EVERYNIGHT AFTER A DAY AT THE BEACH. WE ALL SLEPT LIKE BABIES EVERYNIGHT. WE COOKED DINNER AND EVERY PLATE AND PAN AND BOWL WERE CLEAN AND READY TO USE. THE BEDS WERE CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. LOVE LOVED THIS RENTAL!!!!!!! THANK YOU PERRY!
We rented this huge home for my 50th birthday! I wanted to be able to spend time with our kids and grandkids all together in one place for the weekend. It was bitter cold out but we enjoyed the hot tub! It was so clean and loved the warm room. The beds were all comfy and there were places for everyone. Perry was so nice! He met us there when we arrived and showed us all around. He was fixing a couple small things from previous renters and everything was in perfect working condition during our stay. The amount of space in this house and how it is set up is great; the kids hung out in the livingroom downstairs while adults were upstairs. The only thing if you have crawling babies or small toddlers; there is a really cool spiral staircase that we loved but might not be safe for little ones; it's right down to 1st floor from the kitchen. We had a huge diningroom table to do some arts and crafts on with the grand kids (we brought a plastic table cloth). You do have to plan ahead to take care of washing the bedding/towels before checking out but it's better than some of the other rentals that charge outrageous cleaning fees. Loved the view from the livingroom and kitchen even though it was freezing out. I bet it's so nice out on that huge deck in the summer. There are tons of towels to use for the hot tub and all the linens you'd need to make a stay comfortable. The house was very very clean and like another said the photos do not do it justice. We took many photos and the place is gorgeous. Will have to upload so others can view them too. Thank you so much Perry and we hope to stay again soon.
Use of 2 kayaks and one canoe available.
