Quintessential Beach front home. Step through the dunes to beautiful open sandy beach. Walk for miles. Watch the kids play on the beach. Watch the waves break from the house. This home is beautifully redone, but in a way that allows for that relaxation you need. No need to worry about tracking in a little sand. Equipped with all the amenities needed to enjoy your vacation - Outdoor Shower, big deck, eat inside or out, TV room, WiFi, etc. Easy to get to, and as a bonus, no need to fight the traffic going over the bridge! You cannot find a more beautiful view and beach to enjoy your summer vacation.
My husband, 4 kids and I loved this charming cottage right on the beach! With four small children under the age of 6 you cannot go wrong here! Being right at the sand when you step off the deck was our selling point! The beach is great, with low tide allowing for awesome sand bars for the kids to play in. The beach being private was another great benefit, allowing for peace and quiet and no rules! We could even leave all of our belongings on the beach overnight! The house was perfect with enough space we needed. The street is beautiful and neighbors were friendly. Added bonus....ice cream truck arrives daily! The owner was great to work with and provided a lot of information about the house and town.
We try to spend a week at the shore each summer. This cottage has everything
we needed in order to spend quality family time. The pristine beach is the best,
with a path winding through long beach grass leading to sandbars and privacy.
This cottage is so welcoming, with all the amenities that you would need.
The kitchen and dining areas, with the large picture windows, provide a view of sunrise, sunset and a panoramic view of the sea.
A separate entrance downstairs could be used for teenagers, with
accommodations for 3. The property is well maintained with responsible and
informative owners. I kept noticing how much thought went into the decor.
The location was a surprise for our family, before the Sagamore Bridge,
with the best beach we've encountered. I would highly recommend this
cottage to my family and friends.
We all enjoyed our stay at this perfectly located cottage: right on a beautiful, private, sandy beach, and before having to cross the Sagamore Bridge. We especially enjoyed the view, both from the deck and from inside the cottage. The dining area table was large enough for all eight of us to sit down together for our evening meals, and all of the stores and restaurants we needed were a short drive away. The outdoor shower and Wi-Fi were additional pluses for our family.
My family and I had an absolutely incredible time. Having spent a few years living on Cape, I was very familiar with what it has to offer, as well as what to stay away from. With knowledge of the bridge traffic, beaches and proximity to other amenities, it was an easy decision on where we wanted to stay and this beautifully accommodating home only added to the enjoyment. The beach is amazing! Several sand bars expose themselves at low tide, making for an incredibly picturesque landscape, perfect for finding star fish, sand dollars, crabs and shells. The sand is very clean and easy to walk with bare feet. The undercurrent is very minimal making for a very kid friendly, safe beach. The house itself is wonderful, very clean and very functional with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. A short drive offers all your usual conveniences including Dunkin Donuts, Mc Ds for the kids, pizza, Chinese take-out, an Ace Hardware and a wonderful country store offering everything from groceries, fire wood and adult beverages. Although we never met face to face, the owner made us feel very “welcome” and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ve only been back a few days and we are already planning our return trip for next year.
The house was well equipped and clean. The location was great, nice quiet private beach. We had a small issue that needed maintenance and it was fixed within hours! The owner is easy to get a hold of and was quick to take care of the issue. The views are amazing. It was nice to be able to have the kids be able to go back and forth to the beach on the private walkway, and we were able to leave our things right on the beach at night. Perfect spot for a family.
Absolutely charming - this is a classic Cape Cod cottage by the sea! Waking up to see the ocean outside the living room and kitchen windows and walking down the short path directly from the back deck to the beach was an absolute dream. The inside space is well laid out for relaxation – the living room/kitchen functioned well and provided enough space to stay inside on a rainy day (we only had one) and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The downstairs area made a great space for the kids to sleep or just escape the grown-ups to play or watch TV. The house is rustic enough that you don’t worry about tracking sand in but very nicely equipped and full of personal touches to make is feel like a true home away from home – extra blankets, board games, books, even binoculars to watch the boats and seagulls. We loved the deck for dinner and cooking on the grill and the outdoor shower was also a huge hit! The beach is of course the highlight of the property and even better than we expected – very quiet with few people around even at the height of the season. The water was very calm and had a large flattish area so we could swim well out without it becoming too deep – it also has a large difference between low and high tide and a sandbar great for exploring at low tide – the kids had lots of fun finding shells, crabs, and even two starfish. On the rare days we felt like leaving the beach, it was nice to be close to so many things we remember and love about Cape Cod – Plymouth with the Mayflower and famous rock in one direction and lots of fun Cape activities in the other (our favourites: deep sea fishing at Capn' Kids, Mini-golf at Pirate's Cove, and salt-water taffy at the Mermaid place!). The owner was very nice and made herself available to answer all of our questions before we arrived very quickly and also left lots of helpful info at the house along with contact info for any issues (but we didn't have any). After several years away from the area, we had a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage and hope to come back again in future years!
My family and my sisters family stayed at this home. It was right on the beach and plenty of room for both families. I
The home was very comfortable and it felt like home to all of us right away, I would defiantly stay at this home again.
