Thanks for your inquiry. We appreciate it greatly. Our 2-1/2 year old chalet type log cabin is situated on a wooded lot nearly an acre in size. Our home is the only one on our street as yet. So you have total privacy for a very peaceful, beautiful, tranquil setting where you can relax. Our home has 3 stories of glass windows in the front center for outstanding wooded views, especially from the open loft area upstairs. In fact, every window and door in our home has wooded views. Be sure when you visit that you drive all the streets in the subdivision as there are several beautiful views of Douglas Lake. We are located only 7/10 of a mile (3 minute drive) from a public gravel boat ramp. Next to the ramp is a small beach/swimming area. The downstairs master bedroom has a queen size bed and full bath and a separate exit/entrance directly to the outdoor hot tub, which seats 5 people. The upstairs has a double bed bedroom, a trundle bed bedroom which can be used as 2 twin beds or a kingsize bed. We have Dish satellite TV, one in each bedroom and the living room. We have about 50 movies for you to watch. There is a 360 X-Box in the trundle bedroom, plus a whole cabinet containing board games and cards (bring your own X-box games). The loft den has a twin hide-a-bed plus a recliner which people have told us they enjoyed sleeping on all night. Our subdivision does not yet have internet, but we use a hot spot from Walmart/Verizon which works reliably; AT&T hotspot works frequently as well. Bring your own hotspot. Outdoors we have the hot tub seating 5 on the front deck, a grill, an umbrella table plus at the other end of the deck we have a setee set of a double couch and matching swivel chair. In back we have a small deck, with a 2 seat glider and another umbrella table for a quiet breakfast to start your day and afternoon shade. Also outside, we have a new custom built fire pit with log seats. We have badminton and frizbees in the back yard. We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do. Note: We just reduced our peak price from $245 per night to $219.00 per night, and further off peak reduction.

About Jarri (and Tim) Prince
We have lived in Ohio for the largest part of our life, and have been visiting Tennessee since we were teenagers, so have retired to Ohio and Tennessee where we went on our first trip together.
Jarri (and Tim) Prince purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Jarri (and Tim) Prince chose Dandridge
Location is convenient to boating (3 minute drive) and Smoky Mountains yet not a heavy tourist traffic area.

The cabin is in beautiful neighborhood. Our family enjoyed the stay. The cabin is very clean and welcoming. We look forward to staying again.
A very peaceful getaway
Everything was as expected. Wonderful view even inside the cabin
This is a well supplied, well maintained and clean home. One of our best vacations! Thank you!
We've stayed in eastern Tennessee a number of times and really enjoy cabin rentals, This is more than a typical cabin, you feel like you're at home. The neighborhood is just starting and is in a very desirable location. It is far enough from neighbors for privacy, but, still in an area where everything is easily accessible. Just relax and enjoy!
We cannot say enough! This property is a beautiful home in a gorgeous, secluded subdivision, complete momma deer and her two babies! Hot tub was great and although we didn’t use the fire pit, it looked so relaxing. We were seven minutes away from Douglas Lake Campground where we boated during the long weekend. Within minutes to the local grocery store, we found the location really convenient. The amenities were endless! The kitchen was completely stocked with all the cookware, dishware, and utensils imaginable. Lots of board games provided and we took advantage of a couple. It was refreshing to see the kids “unplugged” for a change. Loved the selection of reading material! My son is a history buff and pretty political as well so he was impressed with the book selection.
Our weekend was wonderful! We plan to return and stay at this oh so relaxing property again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Beautiful house. Very nicely equipped with everything you would need! Very comfortable stay
If you want to stay in and relax, this is a great place.
The house is beautiful and the property is really nice!
Having a washer and dryer was great. The kitchen had a lot of stuff to use. The beds were a little uncomfortable. But all in all the house was very nice. The dog kennels on the other side of the fence were quite annoying. We couldn’t sit sit out at the fire ring with all the barking and my daughter and grandson both found a tick when we were out there. So that was disappointing. It was also disappointing that we could not see the lake from the property. The beach that was 3 minuets away wasn’t really a beach. We never really found a beach. We rented a pontoon at the Marina in Dandridge and the kids swam off of that.
I guess we should’ve paid attention to where the property is and where everything else is at. We were just to far away from a lot of the things we wanted to do. If your interested in just kicking back and relaxing and not go anywhere this is really a great place.
Eclipse of the sun on Aug. 21 2017 will not be repeated again in USA in this century. It will be near totality in Dandridge.
In order to preview the eclipse from this cabin, e.g. using an app from eclipse2017.nasa.gov, enter the coordinates 36.008 N 83.37 W. It is same as at Kodak TN off I40 exit 407 (25 min drive away) which is advertised as a place to view. It is not total, although the moon passes entirely across the sun. For view of totality, you would need to go to places like Townsend TN (will be horrible traffic) or south of Waynesville NC.
