It is like having your own personal retreat and resort area!!
The house was great. If you listen to Wilson everything works. The only thing was you couldn't get an uber or lyft from that far from downtown. It's actually about 30 minutes from downtown. You can take rides back but not to downtown.
We had a quickie trip from Mississippi to Nashville in August to help my wife's daughter to move in her new home. We saw Summer Crest and I am a tennis player and even though I saw the last people rated the place a 2 with all others a 5, I saw they had an opening so I decided to call and book a Stay. One of the best choices I ever made! The owner helped me find tennis players while others went and worked on setting up the new house. There are many items at Summer Crest that have never been at other vacation homes at which I have stayed. My wife and I thought the ground were beautiful, and the house large and charming. With the help of the owner we were able to navigate Nashville and avoid areas of traffic congestion and construction. Everything we did seemed only 15 or 20 minutes away and the little store a few blocks away was a real added plus. When we were there the temperature was in the high 90's and we slept upstairs. We followed the owners instruction on the a/c and never had any problem with the rooms being hot. Everyone to their own thing, but this place gets a 5 star rating from us and it seems they have a gust book going back years with rave reviews written in it. I wondered why there were not some of these on the review page and the owners told us that they did not encourage reviews until this Summer when Home Away down graded them for not having may reviews. There were 6 of us - for 6 days. I don't see how people can go wrong staying there, unless you want to be in the middle of the downtown Nashville scene. Thank you Summer Crest for a great value!
My family met for a family reunion in TN. 8 adults and 5 children stayed very comfortably at the home and a total of 37 of us visited comfortably for the weekend. The property was great for the kids, the rooms very comfortable even with the massive heat that weekend, we stayed cool inside! Our hosts were very nice people . We loved our time together as a family and this home made our stay that much more enjoyable.
Our family had our reunion here and agreed that the setting is beautiful and the owners were very nice. The house is really old and consequently was musty. Also, as stated in the last review, there are only 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The
aerobed in the living room does not count as a bedroom. One of the bedrooms had little to no air conditioning which was a trial being in July. We had four couples so it was inconvenient because there were really only two bedrooms that were adequate/comfortable. One couple decided to sleep on the
couches in the den. Even though the owners were very kind, we would not recommend for four couples.
The grounds are really beautiful and the owner was extremely helpful. It was peaceful and quiet. There was only 3 bedrooms, not 4 and the house wasn't very clean. For the price, we felt it should have been better cleaned. The pool that is a mile away is in a sad state of disrepair and couldn't be used.
We stayed here during the CMA Festival and enjoyed our stay SO much! It was a charming place to relax, get away from the crowds of Nashville, and enjoy the company of friends. Our group was two families that included four college kids from New Mexico. There was plenty of space for all of us and the home and grounds were inviting and comfortable. We enjoyed the walking path, watching fireflies, and sitting around the kitchen table visiting. We took some incredible photos with the barn and beautiful yard as the backdrop. The only thing we wish we would have been able to change is having a couple more days to relax and enjoy spending more time at this beautiful property. Mr. Webb was very helpful and gave terrific suggestions to make our commute to Nashville significantly easier. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be able to return one day. Thank you so much for the memories we will treasure!
