Awesome house for a big group
We just left Austin for a bachelor party and this house was the perfect spot as a base camp for our large group. Tons of beds, lots of room, instant hot water heater which meant no cold showers for anyone and lots of upgrades throughout an awesome vintage tudor home. The pool in the backyard is an awesome retreat and is very private. The house also feels very private despite being in a residential neighborhood.
The location is perfect and everything Austin had to offer was only a 15 minute (or less) Lyft or Uber ride away. Courtney was a great host and was very communicative throughout our stay as well. Definitely recommend!
Great place. Clean and open spaces great for big group!
Place was as advertised! It was well equipped in the kitchen and house was very clean. Very functional areas for larger groups. COURTNEY was very responsive and flexible in my requests to meet my family needs. We were in for my sons wedding and the house was perfect to have extended family together in one spot and nothing to worry about accommodation and neighborhood wise!! Highly recommend!
Plenty of space and well equipped inside.
This was a spacious enough house in a convenient neighborhood for 8 ladies. The beds were reasonably comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we were well supplied with paper products and cleaning supplies. We were able to get transportation easily at this location (Uber, Austin Ride, Lyft). I would recommend this property, but mention a few issues that concerned us and might matter for other older guests (we're 69-70): There is no railing on the narrow wooden steps to the lower level; the bed on the lower level is a low, platform bed; the bathroom for anyone using the daybed is accessed by going through the bedroom; there are no grab bars or non-slip mats in any of the tubs or showers. The weather was too chilly for us to use the pool, but we did go outside and look around. The picnic table needs replacing and there is not much comfortable outdoor furniture.
Perfect house for a large group, close to all the action on S. Congress
This house was perfect for our large group of 10. We never felt cramped but still had a place to gather before leaving to explore Austin. The house is within walking distance to S. Congress and a quick cheap Uber/Lyft ride to anywhere else.
We didn't use the pool much because of the weather but would have loved to if it wasn't so cold.
The host was accommodating and quick to respond and included a list of recommendations. When we come back we will definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Great location in wonderful surroundings...
Courtney was excellent, very prompt, clear and concise communication. The house was great, plenty of room to be together but also space to yourself if you want it.
Visiting Austin for our daughter’s wedding on New Year’s Eve 2017! I was looking for plenty of good size beds, lots of bathrooms and room to hang out. Courtney’s house was just what we needed. Courtney went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She even had a small kitchen utensil shipped and delivered to us within hours !!!! BRAVO 👏
