Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom condo (1,184 sq. ft. ) located at a short stroll (7 minutes) to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets and all amenities. Large swimming pool and Jacuzzi and small gym on the premises.

A great floor plan consisting of a living room with large dining room and open kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances with microwave, toaster and blender, dining area that seats 6, master bedroom with Queen size bed and en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet, 2nd bedroom with 2 Full beds, Sofa Bed in the living room, a separate bathroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, full AC split units, ceiling fans, free WiFi internet access, Cable TV and 24/7 security. Sleeps 8. Large swimming pool with sun deck. 32” LCD HDTV. Security deposit box in the unit. Free private parking. Free beach access.

PAYMENT TERMS:

• 50% deposit required to confirm booking

• 100% required 30 days prior to arrival.

• Payment with Credit Card - Visa, MasterCard, Discover - through our secure website.

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM AIRPORT:

• If you need transportation to your rental property, we can send a trusted driver with a van to pick you up.

• The rate is US $35 one way for 4 passengers. There is room for up to 6 passengers with suitcases per taxi. US$5 extra per passenger.

• You pay the driver directly and keep his number for future transportation needs during your stay.

ELECTRICITY IS EXTRA AND BASED ON CONSUMPTION:

• The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has it's challenges in regards to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay.

• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT IN CASH UPON ARRIVAL. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the CASH DEPOSIT PAID UPON ARRIVAL. See deposit requirements below.

• Normal consumption is $5-10 per day for a 1 & 2 bedroom, $10-$15 per day for a 3 & 4 bedroom and $25-$30 for Villas in Cocotal Golf.

RENTALS LESS THAN 30 DAYS: We require an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT (CASH ONLY-UPON ARRIVAL) of US$20 PER NIGHT for 1 & 2 BDR's CONDOS, US$30 PER NIGHT for 3 & 4 BDR's CONDOS and US$50 PER NIGHT for VILLAS in COCOTAL GOLF.

The electricity meter will be read at check-in and check out. The meter can be self monitored daily. You will be charged at the current rate and deducted from the cash deposit. The difference will be returned to you on the day of departure.

Big Family Getaway

Our family arrived at 3 separate times and were picked up at the airport as requested and arranged with the management. The taxi company that works alongside the rental property was very helpful and accommodating; available 24/7. We were indeed walking distance from groceries, shops, and dining. We didn't find ourselves over paying for too many things. The most difficult shopping aspect is the DR Peso vs. US Dollar when paying for items. Our condo was supposed to sleep 8, as stated in the description of the condo, but unless you plan to double up this is difficult. We travelled with children aged 9-21 boys and girls and found sleeping a challenge as we had 3 girls and 3 boys. Our electricity was pay-per consumption and with 3 air conditioners going every night and 1 use of the washer and dryer we received a partial deposit back. The free wifi is a nice addition although was not always working well, unfortunately. We were pleasantly surprised when a bug exterminator came and sprayed the bushes which had mosquitos after a rainy day. Overall the property is lovely, the pool is large and has a wading area as well as a shallow and deep end.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. As indicated in the listing description as well as by the photos, it shows the bed configuration. We do have larger 3-4 bedroom units available to better suit larger families. Next time you might want to consider a larger unit for the size of your family. We look forward to your next visit.

Worst Vacation ever

Lets just start with the good, which is its location to the beach and market. Now for the bad, pretty much the rest. This was the worst vacation i have ever had period. The condo was in poor condition and not taken care of which you could tell from the rusted fixtures. The water smelled like they were siphoning from the sewer system and i was scared to even shower or wash clothes. The vacation was so horrible i decided to take a huge loss and just go home rather than spend the rest of my time there.

Owner's Response: Well this is a strange one since the tenant NEVER informed us of any problems. He just asked to check out early without providing any explanation. He just informed us that he was able to change his flight and go back to his home country. We thought he had a family emergency and that was why he was leaving early. Leave the country altogether? If the accommodations were so bad, the right thing was to inform us to see how we could make things better. Also, if accommodations were so bad, then if you leave early then you would look for a place that better suits your needs, not just pick up and go to the airport. Again, this was a strange one. You can see from the other reviews that there are NO Major Issues with this condo.

Un po' mi ha ingannato la descrizione della posizione del condo, scrivono a poche centinaia di metri ma a piedi è un po' lontano comunque la spiaggia di Bavaro è infestata di alghe che puzzano da lontano , quindi ho dovuto dirottare su altre spiagge più pulite ma più lontane da casa.

Clean and safe place, whit a nice furnitured appartement. The fitnessroom ist not in a good condition, it needs here some reparations or new engines... The securitystaff is very friendly, and the way to the beach is only a few minutes to walk. The property management was friendly but not so professional, for the the check in we have to wait in front of the office to officehours, for the check out has the responsability person forgot us and we miss the buss to the capital.

nice location in terms of access to beach and other attractions. needs major up-keep in surrounding vacinity outside of condo grounds. a couple of restless nights due to pesky barking dog from a permanent renter. and a stray cat setting off the natural prowess of other dogs and pets. staff was a joy and pleasure to work with. neighbors courteous and friendly. immediate grounds were properly manicured and safely guarded.
