The most wonderful and enjoyable New York stay.

My wife and two energetic boys from Brisbane, Australia were looking for an apartment that would provide a great base for our holiday in Manhattan. We were looking for an elegant and spacious property that would allow us to feel comfortable and not live on top of each other like in a hotel room. From the very beginning I was impressed with Julia and her willingness to help. The welcome was inviting and made us feel at ease. After travelling for almost two weeks prior to arrival the suitcase had accumulated some clothing in desperate need of a wash and within 24 hours our clothes were washed, folded and sitting on our bed upon our return from a day out.

The first night was spent at the baseball out in Queens and Julia arranged a town car to pick us up after the game which was great with a tired family wanting to get home.

Like all other accommodation there are some table stakes that are just crucial to a good experience. This starts with the hospitality of the host and the appearance of the apartment which both were fantastic. Then for the two kids the Wi-Fi was fast and consistent, and for me and the world cup being on and hot summer days we needed a great tv and an air conditioner to spend some down time after a long day of playing in central park. However, the most important aspect of a good holiday is a happy wife and that means shopping. The location is just terrific with a short stroll to central park and a neighbourhood of cafes, restaurants and shops. The proximity to Madison avenue is great and the boutiques went on for miles.

However, two things stand out for us on our holidays and in this case both were big ticks. The beds were large and very comfortable and the showers were hot and strong.

We went to Boston for a few days and were able to leave our suitcases in storage here which was very convenient.

All in all i highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed in both the balcony suite and the terrace suite and both were of excellent quality. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Suite near Central Park

Three of us stayed in the European Suite for the New Year vacation stay in Manhattan. I must say, this was a terrific experience. Julia is an incredible host and made every aspect of our booking, stay and checkout so easy and comfortable. The entire townhouse is gorgeous and immaculate and has everything you need for a great stay. Beautiful space with attention to detail…Full kitchen and dining area, coffee/french press…All three of us felt as if we had the comforts of home plus more. Rather than a hotel room,we wanted more space to move about in for our stay and this suite was more than enough room for 3. The apartment was bright, sunny, airy and the views are pretty. Honestly, if your looking for an alternative to hotels this is the place! I would recommend this over any hotel and we have stayed in many in NYC. Also, location,location,location. Beautiful street,beautiful townhouse right by Central Park. Thank you Julia!

A Special Place for a Special Experience

I was celebrating a very special birthday, so because of my connection to the city, my daughter and I decided we would like to make a visit to New York City. Julia's townhouse sounded perfect and, indeed, it was. The location is perfect ! We stayed in the Deluxe European flat which was just as described. Everything one would want is there. It is clean, comfortable and lovely. It was a perfect place to come home to after a day visiting museums and the nearby park. Julia and her staff were very helpful, and her tips on restaurants and markets were "spot on". For me, it was a very special time. Both my daughter and I hope to return.

Beautiful spot - wonderful Hostess

This is a great spot, only a half block from Central Park. The apartment is beautifully maintained and very comfortable with everything that we could want. We felt especially lucky because the owner lives in the building and was available when we arrived to show us around and make recommendations. My husband and I would certainly recommend this apartment.

Central Park Gen

I spent three nights in the Deluxe European Suite with a friend and my newborn so that I could attend a work conference (I am a corporate attorney at a large international firm). The Suite was spacious, spotless, comfortable and perfect for my purposes. The access to Central Park was invaluable, especially with a child, and it was so helpful to have a full kitchen and a crib in premises. The suite is very safe and the home is in a great neighborhood for shopping/walking. Julia was a delight - helpful and forthcoming - and let me view all the units. I will be back - next time with the whole family - whenever I need to be in the city for work or pleasure!

A little gem.

A little gem.... quiet and beautiful location.

From first contact with owner when booking we realized we where in good hands.

Great information given before and during stay, nothing was too much trouble.

Apartment was just was as pictured online, Extremely clean, with great daily mad service.

We recommend to anyone, a great quite location. Will be back when we next visit the city.
