The Owners and Maintenance Personnel live on Premises full time.

A beautiful and luxurious stay in NYC

My twin 11 year-old sons and I stayed in the Grande White Loft and it was PERFECT! The town house itself was beyond elegant and our apartment in it was lovely, large, sun filled and quiet. It had all the comforts of home and then some--including great water pressure and a 'round-the-clock staff who were extremely helpful. We still cannot believe we were able to find a place like this to stay and are already planning our return! It is a charming, luxurious gem.

Furthermore, the location of the townhouse was OUTSTANDING--so close to Central Park. I think the listing said it was 30 meters from the entrance to the Park but it felt even closer. It is on the most beautiful street, as well. We loved all the suggestions for restaurants and museums, etc., we were given by the host and even though we had to leave the neighborhood for certain plans we previously made--we really just wanted to stay there and rushed back after every outing! The BEST shopping, restaurants and museums are all right there and we took full advantage of that. Everything was just right!

Great Stay; Safe, Accommodating, Perfect Location

Julia was fantastic in the pre-arrival process. We spoke multiple times on the telephone and via email regarding our stay. She asked questions regarding the number of people coming & our desires for visiting the city. She provided many recommendations for attractions and provided locations of restaurants and grocery stores. Upon arrival, we were met by the housekeeper who helped with unloading our luggage. There is a parking garage less than 20 yards from the entrance to the home, so we kept our vehicle there. We never used it; we walked everywhere. Very, very prime location to many attractions. Close to Central Park and all the museums. The home is 1/2 a block from Central Park. A great location!! There is an amazing playground right across the street from her home in Central Park (less than a 1 minute walk!!). We traveled with 2 young children (ages: 6, 1). Julia and her staff were so very accommodating. They provided a beautiful wooden crib with bedding as well as a highchair. All of the apartments are "kid/adult friendly." Our apartment was cleaned daily!! Beds made, trash taken out, swept/mopped, bathrooms refreshed with towels. My personal laundry was done DAILY! I had no dirty laundry to take home with me! The kitchen was fully appointed. We were able to host our relatives from New Jersey and New York in the apartment for dinner which was wonderful. We needed additional forks and knives and we received them in less than 15 minutes from when I texted Julia. We were in NYC when a cold front hit; the temperature in the apartment was wonderful. Heat was on and it was never drafty. If it warmed up, there were beautiful windows that opened to a private balcony to let cooler air in. We were able to come and go as we pleased. Very secure home, quiet street (not common in NYC!) and we felt extremely safe in the neighborhood. My son and I went out to Times Square one evening and walked home at 11:00 without feeling concerned for our safety. Double bolted doors with personal keys. Keypad locks on every apartment door. The beds were amazing, very comfortable with warm blankets to add, if needed. My mother slept on a couch that folded out to a bed with a temperpedic mattress and slept well without any complaints. Very comfortable. Great place to stay in NYC especially for families traveling with children, with a vehicle and/or wanting to be close to many tourist attractions yet in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Plan to return again!!

Wonderful location next to Central Park

We recently stayed in the Deluxe European Suite during the time my husband had knee replacement surgery at HSS. It was perfectly located next to Central Park and had easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, groceries and pharmacies. Julia and Claudio were lovely hosts and quick to respond to any of our questions. The flat had elevator accessibility (important post-surgery) and was cheerful, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet and the streets are lined with historic and elegant townhouses.

Old World Elegance in a Perfect Location

My son and I felt very welcomed when Julia met us at the beautiful front door and parlor area. We felt at home immediately. Elegance and quality were combined with personal touches. We loved the location just steps from Central Park, the museums and Madison Ave. shopping. We'll definitely stay here again!
