STELLA ANDERSON purchased this house in 2002
This is just a great family house in town yet it is so close the the bright lights of Santa Barbara (11ml) and of course Los Angeles (80 mile)
Santa Barbara is a world class destination resort with Ocean and Mountains and a superb cultural center with highly rated Film Festivals as well
Ocean & Mountians - cultural and sporting events - Film Festivals - University/study ops -
Wonderful weather all year round.
The house has a serenity and a full size iron zebra to welcome you - a large well maintained private garden - lots of off street parking - while offering all the central amenities of Carpinteria.
We spent Christmas week with family in this lovely home. The house was clean and stocked with all the comforts of home, located on a quiet, dead-end street. The home accommodated 6 of us very comfortably. There is a large living area and kitchen. And the 2 1/2 baths are certainly a nice feature in the home. Carpinteria is a very quiet and relaxing town. There is a beautiful and clean beach/State Park nearby. The beach and town are just a short walk from the home. We spent early mornings on the front porch enjoying the sunshine while having breakfast and listening to the ocean waves. We had the pleasure of meeting Stella while we were there. She is such a lovely and friendly lady. We are looking forward to staying in this lovely home again when we return to the area for our daughter's upcoming wedding. Thank you, Stella, for helping to make our stay so comfortable.
Upon arrival, we found the house to be very inviting, warm, and clean. It was exactly as described in the description. It was perfect in size and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The house was well supplied with everything you needed. We even used the BBQ. The owner was very good at communicating and would respond to questions within a day. We would love to come back during the summer months to enjoy some of the California sun. Thank you for a fabulous Thanksgiving week with friends and family. We loved every minute of it!!!!
This house is truly perfect in every aspect. My family and I were so comfortable during our stay. It was thoroughly cleaned and stocked with everything you might need for your stay including towels, linens, dishes, games, movies, wifi, etc. It is centrally located and a short walk to downtown or the beach. The house is beautifully decorated and the neighborhood is very quiet and safe. I highly recommend staying here - and we will definitely be back!
We really loved staying here. We were in town for a UCSB graduation and our extended family was envious to see where we were staying!
Stella made us feel very welcome!
Spent Christmas week with extended family and had a wonderful stay. Because the RR tracks are between the beach and most of the town, Capinteria has retained a small town atmosphere; not a T-shirt shop anywhere on the main drag or any where else that I noticed. The block walk to cross the tracks to the beach was well worth it. You can walk the few blocks to good restaurants and about anything else on the main street. It's nice to spend a week with little need for a car. We are so glad we didn't stay in Santa Barbara which is only 12 minutes away if the urge strikes, but in the winter, anyway, Carpinteria is way more relaxing. The house is very nice with a large master bedroom and at a bargain price.
Great place to stay. Close to everything. Beautiful clean house, very private. House has everything you need, just like home. Train near by did not bother us at all, does not run often. Looking forward to staying there again. Wonderful find, recommended to everyone, you will not be sorry. Also, Stella was great.
Steps from the Beach, micro brewery with music, restaurants/coffee shops, N/South train station . Beautiful Orchid and speciality gardens and growers, Salt Marsh birding and hiking, Seal rookery, dolphin viewing from the beach, 5 mile cliff walk, mountain biking trails all from the front door. Numerous beautiful golf courses and practice area in the neighborhood. Rotary, Lions and many other service clubs meet here.
