Jerome Martinez purchased this house in 2001
My family and I grew up here in Santa Fe.
We have owned this property for many years renting it out unfurnished. We recently updated the house complete with stylish furnishings to create a warm, enchanting vacation home.
Quiet, clean and comfortable home with charm. Lovingly cared for by a native Santa Fe family.
Very clean. Linens were very nice. Loved the full wood box for the fireplace. Owner called to check on things a couple of times.
We had a blast as this property. It was the perfect place to base all of our family adventures from. It was also the perfect place to celebrate our family Nes Years Eve!! We have 4 girls and this was the perfect property to accommodate all of them. The communication from the owner is top notch and this property is as well. Thank you and if we are back in Santa Fe this is where we will stay.
We rented the house on Alamo for Thanksgiving weekend and we couldn't have been happier. It's outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown but also gives you the fastest route to the plaza from W. of St. Francis. The house is GREAT, the pictures actually don't do it justice for space and comfort. Two families with kids stayed comfortably and really enjoyed it. Jerome has it all laid out well and does a great job at taking care of you but also leaving you completely to yourself(some people who rent hover). Couldn't recommend more!
We had previously rented other homes in Santa Fe, and wasn't totally sure about this location, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was not only walking distance from grocery store, Starbucks, great food, but that it was THE spot for Trick-or-Treating. We had 2 families, with 4 kids under the age of 7, and there was enough room inside the house without stepping all over each other, the cozy kitchen made meals so much nicer, and the backyard was heaven in terms of just relaxing and watching the kids play. We knew we were spending Halloween in Santa Fe, but little did we know that people from outside the neighborhood actually came to our area to celebrate Halloween. Houses were so festive, tons of children and the neighbors couldn't be nicer! Thanks Jerome!
Jerome and his sister Dorothy are such gracious hosts! Jerome met us when we arrived to show us the house; he called the next day to see if we needed anything. He helped with directions, maps and brochures of the area, and had great suggestions for restaurants! Harry's Roadhouse is not to be missed!!!
Santa Fe is a painter's delight in the fall--the best for landscapes and incredible skies! Because freeway access is so good, we had no problems getting to Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch, and Taos. The downtown plaza is close as well and the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and the Institute of American Indian Arts Museum are both within an easy drive. A small shopping area is five minutes away and very convenient.
There were four of us and we each had our own room and had plenty of space to spread out. It was delightful to watch the sunrise from the upstairs loft. Jerome and Dorothy both left us with fond memories of Santa Fe hospitality and we cannot thank them enough.
Great home with enough space for three couples and three children to stay without getting in each other's way. Nice decor, comfy beds and a nice kitchen with plenty of dishes, utensils and anything else you may need to cook a meal. We greatly appreciated that each bedroom had a small fan that provided white noise. The kids (7,8& 9) really enjoyed playing in the game room. Jerome and his family were gracious hosts, we will stay definitely stay there again! It was a quick drive to the grocery store, coffee shop, the square and many great restaurants.
