Very pretty small charming 45 sq.m apartment in the heart of the Latin Quarter. It can be rented for 4 guests (one double bed and one sofa bed sleeping 2), on the 2nd floor of a typical 17th century building along a calm sunny road in the historic, artistic and literary quarter of Paris. Just 5 minutes on foot from Notre Dame and Saint Germain des Prés, close to the Saint Michel metro and many bus routes. An ideal starting point to discover the exceedingly beautiful cultural and tourist hotspots of the capital city. Numerous cafés, restaurants, cinemas, art galleries and shops nearby.
My husband and I really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. It was so much fun to stay in an old (300 years) and yet comfortable space with ancient stone staircase (easily climbed it is wide) and the high ceiling and large windows allowing a sense of space and light and air so never a sense of being closed in. It overlooks a small street which although ancient is very vibrant and contemporary.
The location is excellent a few steps from the St Michel metro and a walk to many famous museums and churches.
We would choose this again if we are lucky enough to return to this magical city.
Great location in St. Germaine close to subway station but on a quiet side street! The apartment was perfect for my husband and I and was tastefully furnished and had all amenities. Would highly recommend and will try to rent this apartment again for a future trip!
Place was quiet and well located. It was just as it appears in the pictures. Nice place to come home to after walking all day.
My husband and I came to Paris for one week to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had the most wonderful time taking in the world's best art, food and architecture of this romantic city and loved walking home each night to this charming historic apartment. The location is ideal and literally walking distance to all major attractions. We bought 10 metro tickets for the week and didn't use them all! Took the RER to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport and walked to the apartment. Super convenient. One of the reasons we chose this particular apartment was because of the many positive reviews it received not only for the apartment, but also for the owners. To our delight neither were exaggerations. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Bed was comfortable and wifi worked great. Even enjoyed watched some of the Olympics on the TV. Didn't think for such a short trip we'd use the washing machine but we did and came home with all clean clothes. Although our contact with the owners was limited to being greeted by Mina (she and Marc left for vacation shortly after we arrived), she was very friendly, informative and accommodating of our morning arrival. This meant a lot to us as we had a full day extra to explore the city without worry of what to do with our luggage. She stayed in touch with us via email while they were away and promptly answered any small enquires we had. One week was too short and we look forward to returning.
Stayed here as a family (with one small child) for a month. Apartment is large and spacious, and is accurately portrayed in the photos. Location is excellent. Best suited for a couple or single traveler.
This is a beautiful second floor apartment in a gorgeous 300 year old building off a small quiet street just five minutes from the St. Michele metro. Walk to bustling Rue Buci, historic Blvd. St/ Germaine, Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay, and practically everything else in central Paris. Besides the great location, the apartment is truly lovely, with hardwood floors, high ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows opening on two sides. It is fully equipped with everything you might need to enjoy your stay. Mina and Marc are the best hosts ever -- Mina will greet you, get you squared away on the wifi, the espresso machine, give you street maps, and offer any other guidance you might need. They are close by if you need them but completely unobtrusive if you don't. A bonus -- Marc is an excellent piano player and if your windows are open you might just catch some beautiful (and free) happy hour entertainment from his grand piano! We were there for 8 days and can't wait to go back. Thanks Mina and Marc!
