About Owner

My mother was born on the Island and we have been visitors for many years. We are still finding things to do, there is so much in a compact place.

Having selected a short list of places to buy a property, we felt Shanklin has a lot to offer, with a good shopping centre, theatre, loads of restaurants and pubs not to mention a great beach.

Owner purchased this apartment in 2013

Why Owner chose Shanklin

When we walked through the door the apartment just felt right. It was light and spacious inside with a great location, being close to a number of different walks. The beach is within 5 minutes walk as is the park and village centre. The town is about 10 minutes walk and the station a couple of minutes further.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment enjoys a peaceful location with a view from the balcony across Shanklin and Sandown bays, to Culver Down and on a clear day, to the mainland.

Just the Job!!

Spacious, comfortable, very well equipped and in a quiet location easily accessible to shops, restaurants etc. Plenty to do both on the doorstep and further afield. We were blessed with good weather which helps but thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the Isle of Wight. The balcony on the property was a bonus and we enjoyed our breakfasts with a sea view. We were met on arrival by the owner who explained everything to us and were made most welcome. Bed comfortable and a bathroom each was nice! Squishy sofas for the evenings, own parking space a bonus too. All in all to be recommended.

The Reach is located in a quiet residential area 5 minutes from Shanklin's picturesque old village.

The spacious, modern, clean appartment on the second floor offers everything you need for a self-catering holiday. A well equipped kitchen with dining area, comfy beds, a long balcony, two bathrooms. Lots of room for a family. Parks and the beaches are not far away and there are so many places of interest to visit.

Family Holiday

Very spacious appartment even with six of us - grandma (me), grandad, mum and dad and two grandsons (8 & 11). Big bedrooms, an en suite and main bathroom. The large kitchen, dining, lounge area opened onto a balcony - lovely for breakfast and evening drinks. Very clean and well equipped. Easy parking and access to appartment.A lovely peaceful area of the island.

Lovely spacious apartment with a view.

Large, clean flat with plenty of living space and balcony to enjoy. Very comfortable beds and fans provided for the hot IOW weather. There was also little extras to make life a bit easier - maps of local areas, leaflets of things to do, places to eat, as well as dishwasher tablets, fairy liquid and bin bags (things which you often have to dash out and buy straight away). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.
