About Kris Wagner
The owners are an English couple , who fell in love with St. Lucia and come every year to be on island for some time for R and R .
Kris Wagner purchased this Townhome in 2012
Why Kris Wagner chose Mount Hardy
We purchased the land with two other partners, one of whom has worked for many years in the Caribbean. He is a fully qualified civil engineer, from the U.K. He project managed the development, and the properties are all built to U.S. hurricane standards. The spacious interior has been professionally designed, after consultation with the owners, one of whom is an artist and designer.
What makes this Townhome unique
Hawks Cry is situated on the Allamanda at Anse Galet development. The Allamanda is the breathtakingly beautiful yellow flower that can be found in the gardens, which are landscaped and planted with palms and tropical flowers, attracting Humming Birds. Epitomizing paradise, the house is located at the northern-most tip of the island, where the trade winds are refreshing and the only sounds for miles, are the waves of the sparkling blue Atlantic Ocean, crashing across rocks into Anse Galet Cove. At "Hawks Cry", the Humpback Whales may be spotted spouting and broaching in season from the balcony, Orcas migrate between St. Lucia and Martinique, the songs of the birds in the gardens, and at night the sound of the Tree Frog's chorus are all things to behold and hear. Turtles come ashore to lay their eggs in season in the sand on nearby beaches. This is a must for nature lovers. Indeed, the house was named after the American Kestrel which hunts above the nearby hillsides. Don't think of this as a holiday in Paradise, but heaven on earth!

Great place in the north part of the island
We loved our stay at Hawk's Cry! One week was not enough. Plenty of snorkeling beaches around the property. However, none within walking distance. We did not have a car so we needed to use the villa's taxi service (Glenda and Donald - very nice people!) to get around. For those that do not have a car, you would need to budget for the taxi service.
Kris is a very professional property manager and answered all of our questions promptly.
The villa was very functional and we especially appreciated having bathrooms for every room. There were 5 in our party - including 2 teenagers so that was good! There is a washer/dryer that can be used by the renters. Also - the villa comes with pool toys that can be used in the infinity pool that is on the property. It was like having our private pool since we did not see anybody else use the pool during our stay.
Rodney Bay is a beautiful area with nice restaurants - only about 15 minutes away from the villa.
Beautiful and quiet.
Great place to stay for a quiet vacation. Only small hiccups, but Kris was quick to help out.
Fabulous place to stay...
This property is great and even better than the pics. The view is perfect, the home modern and super clean. Rena kept it looking great daily. We will definitely stay there again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you had a great time and we hope to host you again should you decide to come back to St. Lucia!
Fabulous piece of Paradise
What can I say about `Hawks Cry and St Lucia, well “Wonderful”.
We recently stayed at Hawks Cry and had an amazing time. Beautiful spacious property on three floors looking out to Martinique, the Atlantic and the Caribbean Seas.
It has a large balcony where you can relax in the refreshing breeze and take in the views or sit and have alfesco meals. Spotted hawks, snowy egrets, blue heron and emerald crested humming birds around the crescent shaped infinity edged pool in the garden. Great for swimming; sunbeds provided for sunbathing. There is also a plunge pool adjacent to the house with sunbeds, where you take in the sun or you can cool off. There is also an outside shower in that location.
Excellent facilities, providing everything we needed. Comfortable beds, powerful showers, fresh bright decor. Clean sheets and towels frequently replaced. Spacious, luxurious house immaculately clean, thanks to Rena.
Kris, the property manager, was a fountain of knowledge and was always available if we required local information or had any queries.
We rented a car from Kirk Lorde of Hot Sport Auto Rentals, who had it delivered to the front door for us.
The lovely beaches of Pigeon Island and Rodney Bay are only a short drive away or you can get a cab easily at a reasonable price.
The Sandals Cap Estate Golf and Country Club is only a two minute drive away.
We will be coming back to St Lucia and to Hawks Cry in particular.
