Zika virus is spread by a mosquito. We recommend you use bug repellent with Deed that's the most effective against the mosquito that carries the virus. Our apartment has screens on all windows as an added protection.

Cabo Rojo is a very safe town, with very little crime, and viewed closely by investors that want to benefit from Puerto Rico's tax free investors incentives. So, if you plan on spending a vacation, or looking for business, we welcome you at Cabo Rojo.

Luxurious and cozy penthouse apartment with incredible postcard views from first floor 6'x10' balcony and from master bedroom juliet balcony. One bedroom and full bathroom on first floor. Additional 2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms on second floor. Beautiful kitchen fully equipped just in case you want to do some cooking. If not, you will be very close to the Joyuda Strip where you will find more than 20 excellent Seafood Restaurants. Joyuda is famous for its excellent seafood and local cuisine.

Boqueron Beach has been awarded for the 4th consecutive year a BLUE FLAG. Boqueron Beach is situated in southeast Puerto Rico, in the quaint waterfront town of Boqueron. It is family oriented with picnic tables, convenient parking, gazebos, handicap facilities including access to water, accommodations, cafeteria, playground, restrooms and lots of palm trees perfect for a shaded nap on the beach.

Amazing place to stay...

The place is exactly as described. I read a review about a loud dog...disregard, the condo is on a 4th floor (with elevator) you do not hear anything but the waves crashing on the beach. Each room has AC working well. # bedrooms 3 bathrooms perfect to share with others to reduce cost.

The only discrepancies were the refrigerator leaks water at the water dispenser but not much. The ice machine does not dispense ice or water but makes perfect ice everyday all day.

DVD player in living room works well for that one day or night you just want to stay in. The breeze was amazing if you open all doors and windows WOW!

Master bedroom has an amazing view with a balcony

Living room also has a balcony with a glass table to sit out and enjoy breakfast. Both balconies overlook the water.

Also used the washer and dryer which was perfect to return home with clean clothes.

All in all will stay again, and a quick drive to beaches and the Walmart in Mayaguez.

Extremely enjoyable rental.

The condo was clean, the decor beautiful and the facilities enjoyable. The location was close to restraunts and bars. The beach area is full of life- we enjoyed long walks and saw everything from sea cucumbers to hermit crabs. The pool area was very nice and we enjoyed swimming and playing with the kids. The other residents were very friendly. I appreciated the security of the compound.

No doubt you are in the tropics when you see the view.

We had a great time in this rental and gated community. Nice little beach and the penthouse has most of what you will need. I would recommend adding a cooler that works. The little cooler lid does not close well. My only negative comment is there is a neighbor (owner) in this building that has two dogs who bark incessently, during the day.

I would also recommend they secure more properly the screens in the master bedroom on either side of the doors and remove the heavy drapes in favor of something that allows the air to come through. Drapes get in the way. This is important if you don't wish to use air conditioning at night and prefer to benefit from the beautiful breeze. Leaving the doors open allows for bugs to come in.

Overall it was a great place to stay and conveniently located to restaurants, other beaches and locations.

Owner's Response: Thanks for writing the review. I am sure it will be helpful for other future guests. Not much we can do about downstairs owner and his dogs. We and other owners have reported numerously the barking but not much can be done. I hope that the Administrative fines they get will make them consider moving somewhere else! Our beachfront penthouse apartment is very centric with churches, hospitals, shopping centers, fast food restaurants, seafood restaurants... all within a 10 minute drive or less.

Haciendas del Club Golf & Playa is part of Club Deportivo del Oeste's 18-hole golf course. It also has a beautiful pool area next to the beach. Several BBQ areas are available for your enjoyment. Also, it has a children playground area next to the condo.
