Brooklyn Sumpter Homes is a beautiful studio apartment. Located in the 'coolest borough of the city of New York.' It's border by Stuyvesant Heights (known for it's brownstone) and Bushwick (known for it's Colonial homes). The property has all the things you would find in the comfort of your home. It's a beautiful place to use as base to explore New York.

I was there with my friends for 4 nights to discover the city. Sharlene and William were always kind with us, they helped us in everything, even at the last day they let us to let our baggage there for more hours than the reservation was. I can just really recommend this place for everybody.
Charlene & Mr. Bill are practically family now. Me and my Husband stay here every time we visit NYC. The space is just right, its equipped with everything we need, the location is perfect, its in Brooklyn where we're from so we have no problem getting around, parking is not a hassle, and best of all its reasonable. I love staying there. They have always accommodated us, even at the spare of the moment (as we can be pretty spontaneous). We Thank Yall!!!
We'll definitely be seeing you again soon. ox
Sharlene and William were great, friendly hosts and were very helpful and approachable. We travelled in a group of 4 adults: myself, husband and my parents aged 55+.We got lost on our way to the place and had to phone Sharlene to guide us. She came to where we were and walked with us back. She also showed us the nearest grocery store since there is a kitchen in the suite we rented (great feature for travellers with low budget like us). We were surprised how cheap grocery price is in Brooklyn. There is no tax charged towards grocery, clothing and footwear in NYC. Sharlene suggested to us places to go and what subway to take to get there. Too bad we didn't have time to go to Coney Island...I guess that will be for next time. On top of that, she gave us a souvenir which is a picture frame of us 4 at the place. She takes pictures of all the guests who stayed there.
If you still look for an affordable place to stay in NYC with lots of bonus features (kitchen, AC unit, TV, microwave, stovetop, oven, fridge...), this is it! Great location as it is close to everything, especially Lower Manhattan and downtown of Brooklyn. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. Sharlene and William are always there to help if you have any questions. We will definitely come back to stay here when we stop in NYC next time, and recommend this rental property to our family and friends. In fact, my parents-in-law and my husband's aunt will be going to NYC next year.
Thank you Sharlene and William for letting us experience such a lovely stay in NYC.

Sharlene was great! she told us how to get from one place to another and when she saw we were not certain she would offer to take us. The rooms are so big and they have AC units. they have a great private kitchen and seating area . I also like that they had convenient stores very close by. if you have the opportunity to stay at this rental you should, your money will be well spent. The location is very quite and i feel as if though we were in the middle of everything because it took no time to get from one place to the next on the train. Thank you Sharlene for all the help making my vacation a blast.
Sharlene is an incredible person, we arrived at the house almost 1h am and she was there to meet us. The next day early, take us at the supermarket and then the subway helping us a lot and giving us a lot of tips. The apartment had everything we needed, we had breakfast every day in the apartment and it was perfect, we spent wonderful 13 days in his apartment.
The apartment is 2-3 minutes from a major metro lines of the city, in 25 minutes you arrive in Manhattan. The neighborhood is very quiet at any schedule, very familiar.
We were 3 people and we ended up creating an incredible friendship with Sharlene, which will take for life, as provided us with great experiences.
We will back very soon to New York and certainly we will be in Sharlene's apartment.
thank you very much
Sharlene was an absolutely incredible hostess, showed us to a nearby supermarket and then walked us home, told us good things to go and see - she was always available when we needed her. The accommodation itself had everything we needed - I stayed with my boyfriend and my parents who are vegan and require quite a lot of stuff to cook their meals and we were never short of anything. It was super quite and so close to the subway lines we needed to get around - can't fault it!! Also, Sharlene made us a little present on the way out by putting a picture of us in a frame and giving that to my parents - the little extra touches are exactly what make this property incredible!
Thanks so much Sharlene, we will definitely stay here again if we come back!!
We are just a 4 minute walk to the 'A' train. Which is just a 15 minute ride to Manhattan. A 10 minute ride to downtown Brooklyn where the new 'Brooklyn Nets' stadium. is being built. And where The Atlantic Shopping Mall, B.A.M. (Brooklyn Academy Of Music), Movie theater, Restaurants and much more is located.
